The main reason I use adguard now is really for the app. I do use the browser extension as well. But man I'm so glad I discovered the adguard app. Having ads blocked in your browser is nice, but having ALL ads blocked system wide on your phone in every app is something I can't live without now. No more banner ads, no more video ads etc in any apps. My only complaint, adguard used to offer a license where you paid a one time fee (thing it was like ~$60) and got a "lifetime" lisc for 1 device. They removed that, now it's a subscription payment model only. No thanks. I'm sick and tired of all these companies trying to make everything a subscription. Even when it's not a "service" like say Netflix but a APPLICATION. So I'm super thankful I bought that life time key shortly before they stopped selling them, but Adguard guaranteed they wont get any more money out of me by removing the option to just pay a one time fee. Just let me pay for the software once and use it and quit trying to shove subscriptions down peoples throats in hopes they forget about them on their credit card.

i my case in windows+firefox.. adguard is blocking the video.... but not the ads........ the audio of the is still there... and i have to wait for the skip add button.. 😕

So not a single banner ad, video ad etc in any app I use. It really is something you can't live without once you get used to it. I just wish they wouldn't have removed the ability to pay for a "lifetime" lisc (pay once and get a key to use the app on one device at a time). Now they only offer subscriptions. No thanks, sick of every company wanting to make everything a subscription. So glad I grabbed my lifetime key before they stopped selling it that way.
Similar to Twitch. RUclips has been investing a lot into trying to stop ad blockers. It's just a cat and mouse game. Google dose something to stop ad blockers from working, and then, sometimes in literally about an hour the ad blocking extensions and/or their filter lists get updated and block the ads again. Rinse and repeat. Though twitch dose seem harder to get adblocking to work on in my experience.

Do I also need to activate the new additional extension for all websites on the safari setup (the one that would later show with the puzzle icon on safari browser), or those 6 original toggles are enough given that I don’t have premium Adguard? That was not their point... The point was showing how to block ads in the RUclips mobile app using adguard. Of course you can just install a ad blocking extension (including the extension version of adguard) to block ads on the YT site. But I'm pretty sure most people including myself prefer to use the YT app when watching YT on their phone instead of the site.

seems to work in tandem with ublock origin, making it doubly safe against youtube's ad measures aswell which is really nice

It doesn't work. RUclips sends a "you are offline" block whenever adguard is on.

That was not their point... The point was showing how to block ads in the RUclips mobile app using adguard. Of course you can just install a ad blocking extension (including the extension version of adguard) to block ads on the YT site. But I'm pretty sure most people including myself prefer to use the YT app when watching YT on their phone instead of the site.

yep, just installed and running the 7-day trial. I uninstalled YT app on iOS and only use Safari from now on... no more ads.

IDK about the blocking of ads in the YT mobile app (I split the cost of a YT Premium family plan with someone). But I have had the adguard android app (app not the browser extension) for ~3 years now. I love it. It blocks ads system wide. I don't know the last time I saw a single banner ad, video ad etc in any app I've used on my phone since I bought a copy of adguard for android. It's truly something I couldn't go back to not having. But Adguard removed the option to simply pay once and get a single lisc key. Now they only offer the app through a subscription... No thanks. Beyond sick and tired of every company trying to make everything a subscription. So glad I bought that lifetime key before they stopped selling them. I would happily buy another if they still offered the option to put on my moms phone, my sisters etc. But I'm not doing the subscription thing.

از اونجایی که این برنامه یک تونل کننده ( vpn ) است و مدت زمان زیادیست که دیگر نمیتواند تونل ایجاد بکند در گوشی های اندرویدی هیچ کارایی ندارد من که بدون تردید حذفش کردم با این برنامه pure tube کارش زیاد خوب نیست اما بهتر از این برنامه در اندروید عمل میکند.😔 😔😔
