Hiking in the Copper Canyon

- In today's Mexico travel vlog we hike from the beautiful San Isidro Lodge about 4 miles down to the town of Cerocahui. Along the way we see some amazing sites, cross a few streams, and of course- stumble upon some delicious enchiladas!
After we get back to the ranch we take part in a tradition that dates back to pre-hispanic times in Mexico- Temazcal. "A temazcal is a type of sweat lodge which originated with pre-Hispanic Indigenous peoples in Mesoamerica. The word temazcal comes from the Nahuatl word temāzcalli ("house of heat")." It was 90 minutes of my life that I will never forget!

Que bonito es Chihuahua
Cool hike and awesome food. I know you had a great time with the whole group.
I have no words for you, God bless you beautiful people
Excelentes vídeos Goyo y Hilary. Keep up with the beautiful work you are doing, I didn't have the chance to explore some of the places you are showing us when I did that trip, so now I want to go back and see those places I missed. You were reborn after the Temascal Goyo now ask Hilary to experience it so both are in the same level and share the good around you and toss the bad vibes so both keep growing as a stronger couple.
Ustedes si viven su vida como debe ser cuándo tengan hijos ufff mucha historia que contar sean felices
Wow I really liked this video. You guys are showing the real Mexico. I have personally tried Temazcal. It is a unique experience and comes with lots of health benefits. It depends on you if you want to continue until the last door, or you would like to stop even after the first, and there are many levels of Temazcals, you guys went with the Tarahumaras whose are in very strong physical conditions. It is amazing that you guys tried. You are real Mexicans since there are many of us that have not even tried. Your channel is amazing!!!
I can´t get enough of you guys. love your videos and super super love YOUR SPANGLISH. Sigan disfrutando de mi pais Mexico que tambien es tu casa.
💚💚💚
Even when I'm Mexican I never tried "Temazcal". Thanks for sharing another little thing that makes this country so unique. Good work as usual. See you soon Guys! 😎
Wow, speechless... mis respetos a los Kennons 🦸♂️🦸♀️
I like to imagine theTemascal like the Prehispanic-Matrix!!! We see that you re having good time in Chih. Enjoy each minute!
Once again, you have taught me something new. I did not know that there were Tarahumara sweat lodge (temazcal) ceremonies in Mexico. I have participated in a sweat lodge in Northern Ontario, Canada (Cree First Nation island in the Moose River on the South end of James Bay). I agree, it is a challenge to withstand the small quarters (mine was in a small deerskin tent-like structure), along with the humidity and smoke. Thank you for sharing and teaching.
Another beautiful video gueritos keep it up! Saludos!🖐
like the flower on a new day
Oigan saben algo. Amo que den a conocer México en su país, en Estados Unidos. Pero me sorprende y me es grato ver que ustdes dos "Aman México cada día más" ☺

Saludos de Chicago il pero como mexico no ay dos
I am really impressed with the improvement in the quality of your videos; I mean, your use of cinematographic language is better on every video. I am sure that, in the long run, you can try to produce short movies, (Kinetic Kennons Productions) or why not, to become our next Cuaron, Del Toro or Iñarritu. :D
Awesome video. keep the good work
On one trip toTarahumaran country I fell in with a couple from Paris. She was a want-a - be model and quiet beautiful /striking / outgoing / funny. We took a number of stills of her doing things with the natives. Upon carefully studying the photos back in the states we discovered several Tarahumaran men had 6 toes and fingers! Did you notice any?
No, but I did notice the women have three breast!
I’ve done the MEZCAL 🥃!!!! (Does that count?!) I also felt like I was dying !!!! The next day was even worse Amigo !!!!! But two days later, i did feel like I was reborn. 👍🏼
Great videos !!! Glad to see y’all having so many great experiences in our beautiful Mexico 🇲🇽. Stay safe . Saludos from Texas ( originally from Veracruz, Veracruz. Mexico )
Solo Veracruz es Bello !!!! 😊 ⛵️🦀
Jajajajajajajaja.... That was a good one... Mejor un Te con Mezcal.... Te Mezcal jajajaja....
Hahaha mezcal totally counts :)
I recommend you visit basaseachi falls, it's a great place, I was there a few months ago.
Cool videos!
"Those of you who made it out, anyway...!" - Good one.
Saludos Goyo y Hilary.
I didn’t know that part of Chihuahua the temazcal bath. And hiking should be nice up hill and down hill with wonderful views. About the temazcal, in Puebla also they have the temazcal bath, my mother was born there and when we were a lil kids my mother always took us to her “house” and it was on the country side around 30 or 45 min by bus, I remember to take a shower at the temazcal but it was made of brick and has a round shape I can say with 2 entrances 1 obviously was the main entrance and the other one they place on metal cubes water to heat with wood ( branches ) from the tree. I can say the form was like an igloo and inside the fire made something like a steam bath and I feel scare cause I was a lil kid from the city we had light on the house and the temazcal doesn’t so they used candle sticks. Take care 🙏🏼👍🏼🇲🇽🇺🇸
I INSIST. THIS COUPLE IS LOVABLE. VIVA MEXICO. VIVA U.S.A. TOGETHER FOREVER. BOTH, THE COUNTRIES AND THIS COUPLE.
Neat!
