Davie, love your bodkin, I have a similar favorite tool from a 1960 fly tying kit. In all the money invested in my “hobby” I wouldn’t replace it for the world!
As usual elegant fly, in the States we eschew the hackle, and lean more to the Sparkle Dun with the addition of Zelon as a shuck. CDC make a great wing as well!
