    I am grateful for your support in me breaking my limiting beliefs. The point about over explaining really spoke to me. I always felt this problem of never being sure when someone has understood me. I am going to give it my best shot, and maybe take time to listen to make sure the person understood correctly. Many thanks, Paula!

    Dear Hadar and the team,
    English is not a reason why I watch your videos... I learn so much on the side...
    It's great you speak a language, which I understand more or less...:)
    You're right...! speaking well is like doing sports, training is holy...
    We couldn't give anything more to your speech..., if only I could follow your advice, I would be great :)
    Thank You !

  • @jakeObryan283

    I respect and admire you, but i didn´t like the way how you argue the defense of marina, using low-lifes points to attack or argument fallacies instead of well-supported intelligent arguments, you are better than it, i am not an english learner but i am here as your follower cuz i really admire you . :)

    • @hadar.shemesh
      @hadar.shemesh  Год назад

      Hey! I think you need to understand my bigger point - bigger than trying to defend Marina. You know I always talk about mindset, confidence and how important it is to not strive for perfection. These videos validate people’s worst fears around being shamed for their mistakes. They could teach the same lessons without making it seem like there’s the ultimate ‘accurate English’ and the rest is wrong. That’s not how English works, actually. It’s dangerous.
      I know many creators who have stopped sharing videos , after this thing started. So what have we done with that? Is it worth it?

    • @jakeObryan283
      @jakeObryan283 Год назад +1

      @@hadar.shemesh point taken, I'm with you regarding confidence and the other positive stuff, but maybe you didn't share these things the right way and we understood the wrong way, people who are learning English need this confidence this mindset and nobody must humble them because of it, but starting a RUclips channel where you assure teaching English like a native speaker (and you don't do it ) instead of saying, you started a RUclips channel because you are a learner who is trying to improve your own English by practicing on RUclips is different, you won't lose followers, people generally get the person more than product, keep in mind your audience the people who trust you, they deserve reliable information, learning a new language is not an easy task it takes a lot of time an effort you know it, if you learn it wrong from the get-go is quite difficult to change it later, if you are at an important meeting like a Cambridge test for example you can't say "you must approved my mistakes cuz everyone makes mistakes", that might work in everyday life, but it doesn't work in all cases, then they need (your followers) the best information.
      You are not like marina, you share several things is true but you have real intentions to help people, marina only looks for money (she is really good at it) she doesn't care about people, (it would take time to explain it how i realized it) YOU ARE A MUCH BETTER PERSON.
      Attacking on Kevin due to (he is a North American white male guy) who is afraid of a successfully entrepreneur woman,it sounded kinda "f3m1n4zi" and I Know you are not, indeed it was liza (a Russian foreign business woman) who showed Marina's real colors.
      Ok, they might look for free fame, they looked for controversy, i agree, it wasn't the right way to do it.
      I've got lotsa things in my mind but i think is enough, i might be wrong it's just my point of view. Bless you 🙏
