- Hello everyone , sorry for the delay in putting a video out , but have been very busy.
Anyway in this video we go in the car which seamed strange making a video and not being in the van.
We travel just 20 minutes down the road to Whitby for the goth weekend on halloween .
I hope we capture the spirit of the weekend for you.

Thank you Karen 👍 we found out there was parking for campervans in the field next to the brewery, I don’t know how to book a pitch yet, going to ask isambard as they were parked on there 👍 they do a Goth weekend around Easter time as well 👍 you are going to go proper up north to get to Whitby 🤣😂🤣👍 ... we would love to dress up for the next trip 😉👍 ... take care 🤗❤️👵🏼🐾🐾🤠 xxx

@@martin_green they hold Goth weekend twice a year I think the other is around Easter time 👍 so not too too long to wait 😁👍 ... it’s counterintuitive that such scary looking people can be so darned friendly 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👍

We were in Whitby 2 weeks ago and loved it. Pity we didn’t both have time to meet at the Brewery for a beverage 😉 Wasn’t quite so busy when we were there but just as beautiful. Thanks for showing us Goth Week 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev & Sue

Nice one folks, I know what you mean making a video and not having the van with you. Our days out post Lockdown were strange. Glad you got good weather for the Goth Weekend it has rained most of it up here. We did see the lights though.

You have just shown some of my favourite haunts - I love the Whitby brewery, perhaps should have taken shares out in them during the summer months. I usually stick my van at the holiday park along the cliff top - so easy to walk back when you have had one too many.
And you went all the way to Whitby and didn't do a decent Fish and Chips place. Oh no, how did that happen?
Some nice characters and costumes this year, a shame I was unable to make it as I was over the Western coast in my van, very wet.
We didn’t realise but the field out the back of the brewery was open for camping and was full of campervans 👍 maybe next time you visit you could go there and be nice and handy 😁👍 ... fish and chip shops don’t sell alcohol 😂👍 ... the costumes were amazing, unfortunately it was a bit of a soggy weekend ☔️ ... ❤️👵🏼🐾🐾🤠
@@woolleycodwanderers4833 Try the Fishermans Wife for your Fish and Chips, - it is on the Khyber pass - you can eat inside, or outside and wash it down with a pint, or wine of your choice. I usually sit outside personally and look over the beach.
I use the Whitby Holiday Park, just next to the field you talk of - it costs a little more than other parks, but it has hook up, and I really enjoy it. I could use the field, but would be reliant on solar and leisure battery power - which is fine, but you know, sometimes being on hassle free hook up is nicer - plus they have decent showers.
@@DS-cf1zc I have always wanted to go to that restaurant but for some reason I never have, we will have to make a special effort to go 👍 ... we have used the Saltwick Bay site in the past when we had a caravan and it was a really nice site with a beautiful walk into Whitby 😉👍 ... ❤️👵🏼🐾🐾🤠
@@woolleycodwanderers4833 I would welcome your views on the Fishermans Wife - there is a video there for sure. Plus they did win the national F&C award in recent years - as many of the towns outlets have in my lifetime.
I love that walk - it has so many memories. But walking back to my van, from the brewery - lets be honest few things beat that view.

That was a bit Eerie, Plenty of spooky costumes!! Today is mine and Jackie’s wedding Anniversary, yes, we got married on Halloween but I have to admit it wasn’t a gothic wedding lol. Been looking forward to your next video for 2 weeks and as always, you done yourselves proud xxx
