      Acton Treadway which is why we should be even more outraged. These people are not Americans yet they risked their life’s to help us. Why? Is life that bad in China? Yes it is, and our government is trying to compete with China by becoming just like them. Soon our internet will be more censored than China’s. Try googling this story and see how hard it is to find it. The top link does not work and the others redirect you to stories about Trump and Russia.

      ...nate... the people who have jobs that give them enough access to important information that they would become assets in the first place are not suffering. they have good jobs. that is why the cia wanted them. being outraged about exposed assets does not decensor our own internet either.

    The U.S. computer systems/manufacturer's ecosystem has placed far more emphasis on profit, over security, beginning as far back as the 1980's. The issue burgeoned in the 90's. My father + step-father, both, worked in major computer companies, one worked w DOD, complained at the lack of American businesses security development, over other tech innovation = American hubris.

It still surprises me that they got disbanded. CIA needs to go back what works again, ppl with communication skills "LDS" coming back home & something like "B - W" to run the farms which most combat veterans will sign up for.

    There are key phrases here “transitional” “they felt like their system couldn’t be broken.” They were transitioning the system from one point to another, during that period they had vulnerabilities, and as usual in their ego they felt like, no one would ever breach this, underestimating the opponent. As far as care for the individual people spying, informants, that’s not their concern. It failed, they had lightbulbs in the area, the lightbulbs got turned off.

    Serious question: Why isn't the *UNITED NATIONS* at the forefront of dealing with these types of atrocities, by Russia, China, and North Korea? NKorea has been sanctioned and embargoed to the limits, for decades. Why no such action against other major powers for what should be International Crimes? If you're a UN member, you ought to have an interest in protecting your fellow members by way of a coalition of financial and political pressures, and possibly criminal tribunals. // I suppose the obvious reason is that no one wants to admit it has "spies." But, it's 2018. We're now not so naive.

    • @shatteredstar2149
      @shatteredstar2149 6 лет назад

      The UN is a joke because the U.S. keeps protecting Israel, like a good gaurd dog. The UN isn't an alliance, its a organization where nations get together to deal with international issues, its also a place where nations voice their national interest. There is no action because every single country has committed crimes, it would only lead to countries trying to judge another for their crimes. It's like oh you did this so I'm going to carry out justice, but you did this so I'm also going to carry out justice.
