Our governments are out of control. I am so very sorry for these victims and the ones here in the US as well. I worked for the CIA as a file clerk in the late 60s when I was a teenager. I felt I was putting in my two years of service to my country. The Agency has done irreparable damage to many people and caused great embarrassment and shame to those employees who thought we were doing the "right thing."

LSD leaves the body fairly quickly, the damage caused is by any emotional or psychological scars which can last a lifetime. Large doses taken often is a different story especially if not properly guided. We had a friend who was a math genius, one summer he took acid all summer, when he came back to school in September he had to go into a special Ed class. After graduation he had to live in a mental institution where he made hammers. He was happy but no longer even close to having a normal IQ. Who knows maybe he recovered years later.
That lady toward the beginning that said she would see the doctor coming toward her and became filled with fear...she should have trusted her gut. Her instincts were telling her he was an evil pos.
And who knows what he did to her when she was paralyzed?
She was in the mental house all ready. The instinct must be switched on before you seek help. Post natal depression is absolutely nothing , till hormones go back to their normal levels one can find alternative ways to deal with it. But our society has been medicalised topped up with instant gratification making us all unwilling to suffer a bit without ‘help’ of drugs and people. One needs to think differently and take example of our ancestors who managed to survive, make a living with half of the luxuries we have now.

My grandmother had a house right by there on mount royal, and told this weird story, in which my mom confirmed seeing as well. A story of a student at McGill that showed up at there door in the middle of the night in 1957 or 58, naked tereified tripping on lsd saying a doctor was forcing him to take drugs at the school, and wouldn't let him leave.he said he had to run away without his clothes . Concerned she helped him, gave him clothes and let him stay on the couch. He wouldn't let her call the police and didn't remember who his parents were.she figured let the kid sleep and figure it out In the morning.
In the morning the naked man was gone. My mom was 5 and to this day remembers how scared the man was.

Tripping when you don't want to trip sounds like an absolute nightmare: a waking nightmare that lasts 18 hours or more. Absolutely horrible.

The time before that was about 14 hours.
Since two people can trip at the same time on the same hot and one person can transcend while the other just sees travers means that it 100% effects everyone differently which means. Their are people that one of hit of lsd could last 18 hours for them. I took a 150ug hit the other night and tripped for 10 hours. Yeah that’s pretty large for a standard hit but still. The dude beside me was having afterglow for like the entire next day. I was fine by the time I went to bed that night. I think when people say the trip lasted that long there adding the afterglow effects into the equation.

As someone who has done lsd more times than I can count… let me just tell you that the horrors of a bad trip are unlike any nightmare you could ever fathom. You almost pray for death because of the sheer terror and torment your mind is enduring. Your brain will literally convince you that you are legitimately dying or that someone is actively trying to murder you. And this goes on for 12 or more hours and feels like an eternity. I could not imagine having this done to me unknowingly or under the guise of science in such a horrible setting. Each time I took it I was fortunate to be in the comfort of my home, not a mental hospital. No apology could ever suffice for what these poor, unsuspecting, innocent souls had to endure. This is worse than any physical torture and the effects are lifelong.

All hallucinogens (including marijuana) cause dramatic increases in areas of the brain that affect irrational thought, panic, fear and anxiety (in addition to the areas that affect mood, pleasure and euphoria). Most of the time it’s manageable in small doses if done as the sole substance, but can completely overwhelm someone and their ability to control the mania onset by the drug in large doses and when combined with other substances.
Most, if not all, of my negative experiences came as a result of combining marijuana with LSD and once with alcohol. Marijuana increases blood pressure, heart rate, feelings of anxiety, paranoia and inhibition. So when combined with LSD which does the exact same things, it is very easy for someone to fall into temporary psychosis (bad trip) from the overwhelming brain activity. Alcohol combined with psychedelics can either dull the effects of the psychedelics if taken in small doses or can severely hinder one’s ability to think rationally and calm down in larger doses.
It’s disingenuous to say that anyone who has a bad trip either has underlying mental health issues or just needs to undergo an “ego death” to ‘learn’ from the drug. These are extremely powerful and unpredictable substances that can have very profound positive and negative effects. I’ve done psychedelics more than 100 times and of those, maybe 5-6 resulted in a negative experience. So I’m not against the substances whatsoever and advocate heavily for their legalization and use in medicine.

3 days after childbirth at this time of the year 46 years ago in Ireland, I was experimented on with electroshock and drugs in a similar way. The more they gave me the more they harmed me. The result was that from 1983 after more sessions of electroshock I was kept on psychotropic drugs until 2000 when I eventually found a way to be drug-free. Ever since I have been healing myself from the harm done to me.

Read the book about Frank Olsen who was given LSD and died after going out a hotel window. (Sorry i do not remember the title of the book.) His name was quickly mentioned in this video. Many years later his family went after the US government for his death and won some compensation. I'm not even sure enough people are awake right now, although it seems more hopeful (plus, God's definitely involved in this). I think that the topic of children being prescribed behavior altering meds should be discussed aswell ! The long term effects of these behavior altering meds on the child last well into adulthood if not for the individuals entire life. Most of the time when these meds are being prescribed. Its not the parent going out seeking help for the child, yet instead its the school that insists that the child is put on behavior altering meds. The child has no choice in the matter !

My mother was given an ultimatum. To either remove me from the public school that I was attending or too take me in to see a doctor for being adhd.
I was 12 years old when this happen, and meds prescribed to me from a doctor was my introduction to relying on drug use for problems or issues that 1 might face in life.
Before being medicated at 12 I never had no desire to use drugs & then not long afterwards, there wasn't a drug to dangerous or taboo for me too atleast try.
I hid my drug use from adults pretty good as a child but neglecting my responsibilities seemed to be 1 notable side effect that was impossible for me to hide. By the time I became an adult. I didn't even last a whole year before eventually being convicted of a felony. ( possession of marijuana over 30 grams )
This arrest took place the last trimester of my senior year of High School.
After being released from jail 6 months later. Entering the world as an adult & a convicted felon & with no H.S. diploma or GED. I entered it feeling lost & with a huge chip on my shoulder. It was like at that point, I didn't even attempt to try and hid my drug use. I would snap out of being a loser from time to time and try and get my stuff together but for the most of my twenties. I was a P.O.S.
I sometimes wonder what my life would have been like if I would have never been medicated and introduced to addiction as a child.
Was addiction inevitable for my life?
I don't know but I think that it is a darn shame that I wasn't given a chance to find out that answer on my own and without the *INTERVENTION* of the system's experiment or ideas of drugging children who have supposed behavior/focus issues.
