Thing is Hulk needs a movie, he could easily snap Thanos, but he's not angry or motivated enough. He needs a movie to build that, and yes, that proves the above, sure, Thor never needed a Mjolnir, it held him back. Stormbreaker doesn't. It's made by him, for him. He poured his soul into that weapon. Mjolnir was just a symbol of his fathers' approval.

The way I see it is:
Asgardians have extremely dense body structure, near impervious skin, etc. etc. Thor may have been able to resist the heat because he’s just that dense
A neurotoxin corrupts and shuts down the body from the inside, and has the ability to adapt and overcome the hosts immune system
I ultimately don’t really care either way because it’s just a comic book movie

In comics, not even the Silver Surfer could overpower it and in MCU, Taika Waititi confirmed it massively affects Thor to the point he become vulnerable like humans. Also, the Obedience disc was invented by the Grandmaster, he's an Elder. He's literally billions of years old. No matter how strong you are, you will fall to the Obedience disc.

You all wanna know what has legitimately good CGI, probably the best out of any movie so far? Pacific Rim. Stunning graphics and effects. Marvel movies like this one are good but they don't even come close to Pacific Rim.

He survives infinity stone explosion, being in space, being burnt by star, being punched continuously by kurse, also by the hulk in this same match. Thor got insane level of durability. That one punch by hulk should be no problem for him
@@M_H_H Yeah, Thanos is pretty much the only being capable of actually killing him when he's at full power. MAYBE a fully enraged Hulk and Scarlett Witch could as well. I guess you could throw in Hela too.

@No u Well I want to say Hulk is actually strong not simply because of his brute strength but when he [Not the new Hulk version in Endgame] turned Hulk he became damn near feral. You couldn't gauge what he would do making him unpredictable which is very dangerous in it's own. But like you said his lack of intelligence makes him weak but his unpredictability made him very strong. Like Deadpool, he's because strong and has intelligence but also dangerous because he's so unpredictable.

Thor also gains more and more power as the series progresses, so his arsenal is much wider. Not only the lightning, but flight ability. Think about it; Thor is over a thousand years old, so his experience in battle is much bigger. Hulk on the other hand is a brawler, just going amok and smashing things. You could see it in this fight, Thor moves and ducks away in a way showing much more skill and experience than Hulk. This was also the trouble Hulk had against Thanos, who could also use superior technique, blocking, ducking and using active footwork. In short, Hulk is the strongest avenger, but that is his one and only advantage.

I actually feel sorry for hulk.
Imagine everytime you show up everyone keeps rejecting you and asking for you to go away. Id also leave the planet if i could. He just did what they told him to do. He went away. He isny Banner. He's stuck in the same body as him but that doesnt mean he doesnt feel pain from being rejected or he doesnt want friends. I mean look at him and Abigail. He's actually a cool guy if he just calms down because she actually treats him as his own person and not as "Not-Banner".
