Brother, not only is this inspiring but it is very informative and done in a way (that only you can) that comes across with the utmost sincerity and humility. Love it! Keep them coming! You’re a blessing to the community and to the body of Christ for sure!
Hello brother Travis, I'm watching this in 2024 from Tanzania 🇹🇿 and it's really inspiring, teaching what to do and what not, and so many things that I've learnt, keep on on making these Vlogs they means a lot. God bless you.
Wow, thank you brother. I'm an aspiring professional musician. It's soo refreshing what happens behind the scenes of a Live Recording. I've done one live recording soo far, but not at this level. Praying for more🙏 Bless you brother, From South Africa
Dude when I tell you that this is Gold. I love this type of content and the type of content you put out in general. Thank you soo much sharing! You're definitely one of my top subscribers on RUclips! You putting this out and all your other videos are greatly appreciated. I normally don't write comments on videos but the constant quality of the videos you put out I just have to say something. Again Thank you!
Travis, please keep doing this series! I’ve been a sideman my entire career in cover bands thus far because I could never get straight answers out of folks doing this type of work for me to pursue it more. To anyone reading this who is not Travis, PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS! This inside look is invaluable to those aspiring to do this in EXCELLENCE at the professional level! 🙌🏾
We appreciate you also Brother Travis, for through your efforts, we are becoming better musicians which enables us to better serve the musical communities that need us. Thank you Brother .👏✌
Travis! I always appreciate your "vloggy" type videos and this one is no exception! As a musician trying to put on a live recording myself this year, this really helped put things into perspective. I cannot wait to see more from this series and more from your channel in general.
Love this so much. As a novice bassist, I love learning from others and what they are doing with their worship teams… so please do more of this, this is Awesome!!! 🔥🔥
Mannnnnn, thank you for posting this and taking the time to walk through everything with us. This is something I aspire to do in the future and seeing this just makes me even more inspired. Truly, thank you and I pray God continues to bless you.
Bro, I recently came across your videos and... i just feel inspired. Recently bought my bass again, 'cause i had to sell it to escape from the situation in my home country. I'd been fighting against p*rn add1ct1on the past years and now, I just wanna live for God and only for Him... There's nothing else i want to do in my mind now... And the only way i know is music. Every video of yours I see is just an inspiration to keep going and recovering my ability to play (cause i played ten years in a band before and I'd been like 8 years without playing) . God bless bro! Do not lose that humility that is particular of you. Hope you can read this and from the bottom of my heart... GOD BLESS YOU bro!
I needed a nap and a venti coffee after watching this. I hope you all slept for 2 days straight after this massive accomplishment. Thanks for the video - looking forward to more!
Dude, thank you so much. Currently closing in on getting things together for a live recording and was wondering what to pay musicians, etc. this helped out sooooooooo much. Thank you bro!!
Love you watching these kinds of videos in the gospel music industry. In the 90s, most vocal over dubbing was done after the fact. now most of it is done before hand. Most of that is because back then we didn't record with IEM. Also, back then most people had no idea that over dubs were even done. There was this mystical idea that records were recorded perfect the first time.
Great video!! Having been a part of several live recordings, two being my own, it is refreshing to see how others operate and prepare for live sessions. Keep this series going!! 💪🏾
Great video! I have to play guitar and sound engineer my friends live recording coming up in a couple of weeks! I appreciate your transparency about the live recording process! People don’t realize the work Behind the scenes of a minstrel for Gods kingdom. I did a live recording worship album myself and I wanted to quit but the Holy Spirit told me that I had to go through with it and man! I am so glad that I did! (Some videos are on my RUclips channel btw) but again thanks for taking us on your journey and for the transparency! May God continue to open doors for you!
great stuff! I've been in these grinds and it is work! But it is ministry! I always leave relieved that it's over, but filled with so many memories of God being present!
Thanks Travis. Learned so much in this video mn. Thanks for the tips of how to manage my offers and negotiate with people. Huge respect for what you do and how you do it.🙏
Very nice vlog entry, Travis. Pretty cool to see you hang out with some of the cats that I know and hopefully one day will get to meet in person. God bless you, keep grinding and prospering.
i lovee thisss may you and your team and the team u meet in future grow more in god and contribute in the kingdom of GOD with love passion zeal and the godly faith thank youuu
I loved this video so much. I do feel like a lot of the work could be handled in post no with overdubs? Maybe could’ve saved a ton of time and money? But literally, keep posting these they are amazing!
I lived in a townhome community for a few years with several people who were like that lady. It was a nightmare, and there was no reasoning with them. The issue with those types of communities is that the developer squeezes too many homes into too small of an area, thus creating a situation where there isn't enough space for all of the cars in the neighborhood. Parking disputes occur, and crazy neighbors start complaining about lights shining into their windows.
Man I can't stand batty/crazy people like you encountered. Anyhow that looks like a lot of work! This weekend I am playing bass and singing at the same time for the first time at my church. It's a whole new level for me, and I am struggling a little.
That’s what’s up! Those type of opportunities really stretch you, but make you so much better. Even if you struggle a little bit, you’ll come out better in the end. Good luck!
Man, I really enjoyed this (except the crazy neighbour, LOL). That's an intense week though! Respect for keeping awake! Sounds like some great music too.
Thanks for sharing! You are the coolest bass vlogger on RUclips! FYI...Rich Brown says you should not name assign names/gender to instruments....just a thought! God made us in His image and likeness, not an instrument. God keep you and stay in His Word!!
Brother, not only is this inspiring but it is very informative and done in a way (that only you can) that comes across with the utmost sincerity and humility.
Love it! Keep them coming! You’re a blessing to the community and to the body of Christ for sure!
I really appreciate that Robert. Means a lot.
Being a church musician too, this's one my top videos of yours and certainly among the most inspiring ones.

I appreciate that. Thank you for your continuous support.
12:39 “I mean i’m ready for it” YESSIR DRAYLIN!! He knew what he was getting into and was sure of what God spoke to him. I love to see it!

Yup, this type of videos is just excellent! On this recording did you only use one bass ? I just couldn’t see a backup! But keep it up mate!
Yes I did. I also used the Moog Sub 37 as a synth bass as well!
