I would like to make a correction that Cyanogenmod 12 does actually come rooted (6:05). You have to be rooted to install it in the first place. There is no need to get the update-super-su.zip that wasn't posted. There is an option in Settings > Developer options to enable root. Thanks for the video.
Install this on my LG G3 D850 (AT&T) today. Works perfectly thank you for the head up. Only thing I wish it had was knock unlock. Other then that it had double tap to turn on or off the screen.

Hello, I have a question regarding this ROM into my T Mobile LG G3. Will installing this ROM effect the quality of my camera, sound, or screen brightness? I'm asking out because of this experience I once had - last year I rooted and installed a ROM into my LG G2 and it effected my camera, sound, and screen brightness in a negative way. I find this ROM really impressing and I'm willing to install it due to the basic lollipop upgrade on my LG G3 not having much impressive features, but I wouldn't want my camera, screen, and sound effected in a negative way if I do have this ROM installed.
On my LG G3, camera displays the unfortunately camera has stopped message. I cannot access the camera using this application nor through any 3rd party applications. I can however access the front facing camera using snapchat but not the rear. I have tried the method of clearing cached, data then force stop it and reboot. This does not solve the problem. I have also rebooted the phone in safe mode to determine if it was interference from any 3rd party applications however even in safe mode I got the message. Can anyone offer some advice??
I got the official lollipop update from lg but I still have the same lock screen and I want the lollipop lock screen could you show me how to do that it would help a lot man thanks

Yes you do. Just download it and have both file on your phone prior to flashing.

We are unable to root after the 12b update with Verizon, any suggestions to root my LG G3. Its patched and a no go for rooting

I'mSquigded you may be able to find a 3rd party lock screen that features the lollipop lockscreen
to get the original lollipop lock screen you need to flash a custom ROM, apps on the play store are just gimmicks
