It's live with a lot of post-production filtering. Calling it live with a bit disingenuous, I'd call this type performance a 'one-take studio recording'. Taeyeon concert clips are so much better than her online 'live' performances, but this'll have to do until she does another concert/tour. Filtering and autotuning doesn't make Taeyeon's voice any better. It cuts away some frequencies. I don' t get it why they are still doing it. ( In this new minialbum there' s not so much though.) Maybe people are so used to listen heavily autotuned voices that singers must have it somehow audible. But it doesn't make singing any better or easier for artist, I suppose. There's some videoclips Taeyeon singing in studio. She really does doublings and layers by herself and judges herself when its good enough. She' s a genius in layering vocals, I think. And her level of mastering singing techniques... I think there's no match. She just doesn't show off so much because she's going for music and songs. This minialbum is a showcase of vocal agility without power vocals. She does what she wants.
I was very surprised to suddenly you go out of order. I hope some of your patreons recommend duets that aren't going to be included in your rankings. "Angel" with Chancellor still one of my favorites. Similar to this song, where it feels stripped back.

I totally understand why this wasn't the title track, but this is EASILY my favorite song on the album.
Taeyeon was involved with writing some of the lyrics for this song. I think she wrotr the entire second verse.
