She is really sooo good in conveying the emotions in her singing. I never been in such toxic relationship but her singing made me felt like I'm also going through a break up lol. I think you are spot on, it's circling back to the narcissim theme .
For Fabulous, yes. She mentioned in the song reveal that this song is to gaslight the other person. And she put this song at the end because she want to end the album not sad
Taeyeon has that superpower. I am usually also not a big ballad listener but hers just hit different. They move me in ways i hadn't thought possible and as a result dominate my playlists on repeat. My favorite of her songs always end up being the ballads she herself later says are also her own favorite, which makes me believe that those must be the ones she pours the most of her own emotions into. (For this album that is "All For Nothing" ) Also fun fact, during the countdown live of the album she said that it was hard for her to get into character to portray the confident attitude of "Fabulous"... Which low key breaks my heart. 😭
