Thanks for listening to Taeyeon! She's been in the industry for 16 years now and still killing it. There isn't a singer or producer in Korea who doesn't know who she is. Her songs are widely used by trainees all over for teaching proper vocal technique because of her longevity. Karina of Aespa said on IG Live that if you can sing U R or Gravity at an SM audition, you'll automatically get in lol

I could listen to Taeyeon sing the Seoul Telephone Directory and be completely happy. Former main vocalist of the legendary Girls' Generation. She's been a solo artist since 2015. There are very few singers who can reduce me to tears. Taeyeon does it on a regular basis.

Taeyeon has been known to be the "idols' idol". Leader of SNSD, her group debuted in 2007... but even before she debuted, her mentor (the one) already put her as a feature on his track "you bring me joy". The song was recorded in 2004 which means she was 15 years old at the time and her talent has already been recognized by one of the top vocalist in Korea. Her voice has been known to carry so much emotions behind it that many people have said that they feel what she sings before they can understand the words. It is by no surprised that she is also touted to be the OST queen for the amount of original soundtrack she was featured in. Her range and versatility is known in the kpop industry and although her voice has changed from being very belty when she was younger to a slightly more nasal mixture of chest and head voices... she still retain that innate ability to sing the lyrics with so much emotions like a story teller. Her dreams before debut was to one day be a great live singer... and to that, she has surpassed. There are just so many songs of hers I can recommend to you but honestly... they're all quite great. Many reactors have said that she's the one artists they can put a playlist on and not skip any songs. With that being said... "fine" is pretty special to her fans. Also, some of her band mates have great vocals as well. She was part of a sub-unit called TTS (taetiseo - Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun)... they gave us some pretty power vocals during their promotions, notably their cover of Destiny's Child's "Cater 2 U" Love your reaction to her performance here, and looking forward to seeing more :)

Welcome to the House🎉 She's my ultimate bias since 2008 and I swear I never need another songs or singer cz Taeyeon is has them all. She's always taking the high notes in all her group songs since debut and that's why I love her since beginning. Back then when KPOP started becoming popular outside of Korea through their boy groups, Girls Generation aka SNSD appeared. And SNSD really transformed the music industry into a Girls Generation. They rose to the top and even higher than the established boy groups of that time and the leader of SNSD is... Taeyeon. Even after 15 years of being a kpop fan, i have yet to see another group as complete and good as SNSD. They WERE the industry back then and they are all still excelling in their careers now. They didnt disband, but their comebacks will no be as frequent anymore. Shes basically the idol of idols and artists in SK (especially women singers look up to her). Taeyeon is well worth checking out, her whole discography is pretty amazing and her live stages are even better. Taeyeon - Something New, Four Seasons, What do I call you, Fine are some of my favorite songs of her I also recommend the live concert stage for Fine (a fan favorite, probably more popular than the actual release) , Voice (her japanese discography), When We were Young adele cover (from busking in Berlin)

Haha! That’s about what I was expecting from you reacting to Taeyeon! Not sure if anyone mentioned but she and Key from Shinee are best friends. There is ton of hilarious content with the two of them and they’ve done at least one collaboration, Hate That on Key’s Bad Love album, that is fantastic! I feel like they did more than one collab but I can’t think of any others. But she did also collab with Taemin and maybe Jonghyun too. Girls Generation and Shinee are sibling groups at SM. They debuted less than a year apart.

SM does fairly regular concerts called SMTown where all the groups perform together and they do a lot of collaborations between groups. And a lot of them are trainees together before the groups are chosen. For example Suho from EXO was training to debut with Shinee and Johnny from NCT I believe used to train with EXO. But in the end they got put into the groups they are in now.

Taeyeon has been known to be the "idols' idol". Leader of SNSD, her group debuted in 2007... but even before she debuted, her mentor (the one) already put her as a feature on his track "you bring me joy". The song was recorded in 2004 which means she was 15 years old at the time and her talent has already been recognized by one of the top vocalist in Korea. Her voice has been known to carry so much emotions behind it that many people have said that they feel what she sings before they can understand the words. It is by no surprised that she is also touted to be the OST queen for the amount of original soundtrack she was featured in. Her range and versatility is known in the kpop industry and although her voice has changed from being very belty when she was younger to a slightly more nasal mixture of chest and head voices... she still retain that innate ability to sing the lyrics with so much emotions like a story teller. Her dreams before debut was to one day be a great live singer... and to that, she has surpassed.
There are just so many songs of hers I can recommend to you but honestly... they're all quite great. Many reactors have said that she's the one artists they can put a playlist on and not skip any songs. With that being said... "fine" is pretty special to her fans. Also, some of her band mates have great vocals as well. She was part of a sub-unit called TTS (taetiseo - Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun)... they gave us some pretty power vocals during their promotions, notably their cover of Destiny's Child's "Cater 2 U"

She's always taking the high notes in all her group songs since debut and that's why I love her since beginning. Back then when KPOP started becoming popular outside of Korea through their boy groups, Girls Generation aka SNSD appeared. And SNSD really transformed the music industry into a Girls Generation. They rose to the top and even higher than the established boy groups of that time and the leader of SNSD is... Taeyeon. Even after 15 years of being a kpop fan, i have yet to see another group as complete and good as SNSD. They WERE the industry back then and they are all still excelling in their careers now. They didnt disband, but their comebacks will no be as frequent anymore.
Shes basically the idol of idols and artists in SK (especially women singers look up to her).
Taeyeon is well worth checking out, her whole discography is pretty amazing and her live stages are even better.

Not sure if you know this yet, but Taeyeon, RV's Wendy and Seulgi, and Aespa's Karina/Winter are in a group together called GOT the Beat along with a couple other SM artists Hyoyeon (Taeyeon's SNSD bandmate) and Boa (soloist)

Not sure if anyone mentioned but she and Key from Shinee are best friends. There is ton of hilarious content with the two of them and they’ve done at least one collaboration, Hate That on Key’s Bad Love album, that is fantastic! I feel like they did more than one collab but I can’t think of any others. But she did also collab with Taemin and maybe Jonghyun too. Girls Generation and Shinee are sibling groups at SM. They debuted less than a year apart.

@@ChainReactionsChannel Yes talented friendships at SM are pretty common. Kai and Taemin are also best friends. SM does fairly regular concerts called SMTown where all the groups perform together and they do a lot of collaborations between groups. And a lot of them are trainees together before the groups are chosen. For example Suho from EXO was training to debut with Shinee and Johnny from NCT I believe used to train with EXO. But in the end they got put into the groups they are in now.
