I think your analysis was on the point. I agree. I think T herself said very similar things about this song. Also in many Asian cultures moon symbolises a woman and sun is a man. Moonlight is a womans love. When she shoots the moon in to the pieces... And under the sun theres only a desert. Anyway, I've been following Taeyeon for some time now and the more I get to know her history, personality and of course her music, the more I like her if even possible. She's so unique. Her versatility is crazy. She can sing nearly anything and it will work. If you listen only one or two of her songs you may not get it why she is so special but after ten, twenty, fourty songs you will appreciate her more and more. She really has earned all the respect she gets nowadays.

This entire album is mind-blowing. The video is inspired by Greek mythology. The Goddess Artemis fell in love with Orion the hunter who was a mortal. Her brother Dionysis tricked her into killing Orion in an archery competition with an arrow to the heart. Grief stricken, she released his heart into the sky to form a constellation. That's the Reader's Digest version, anyways.
I definitely need to brush up on my Greek mythology but what I already know is that she is a goddess! I should do some Taeyeon album reactions... ⛓️❤️⛓️

Just her work with SNSD built her a rabid fan following, who have grown with her through the years. Her songs ALWAYS rocket tk the top of the charts upon release and her concerts sell out within seconds of going on sale. For female soloists in Korea, her and IU are IT.
This MV was my introduction to Taeyeon. When this was released, I was still in the first months of learning everybody and hadn’t worked back to 2nd gen. Seeing it here again, I had a bit of nostalgia for that time period when all KPop was new to me and wonderful and lifted my spirits from a really bad time.
Oh this must have been an AWESOME introduction. I guess any introduction to her is awesome lol. KPop also lifted me (and still does) from some rough times and dark places so I think I can appreciate what you're talking about.
