Yes, Dimash is classically-trained. He has a 6+ octave range (C2 to D8, sustained!) If you don't already know, he is famous in his own country of Kazakhstan, and he was invited by a Chinese music producer to compete in the "I Am a Singer - 2017" competition. The people you see backstage are other contestants. Dimash plays 7 different instruments, and in the competition, he sings in 7 different languages, with just 1 week between performances to learn each song. This particular song is a well-known French song (he is singing in French), and it is about a man pleading for his life (a very sad song.) My personal favorites in the competition are Ep. 4, "Late Autumn", Ep. 6, "Adagio", and Ep. 12, "Confessa + Diva Dance". Try to react to all of them. "Sinful Passion" is a later song that is terrific, as well. Dimash is about 6'3", and is now 25 years old. He calls his fans his "Dears". You girls have a lot of catching up to do. Dimash was 22 years old when he sang this French song on the Chinese Singer 2017 show. He now has a very long list of really great songs. Each one is different. He sings in 10+ languages. He plays 6+ instruments. Also memorable songs are LOVE OF TIRED SWANS (Russian), SHOW MUST GO ON (English), MY HEART WILL GO ON (English), ALL BY MYSELF (English), SCREAMING IDOL HITS (English and Kazakh rap), ADAGIO (English) as well as DAYBREAK (Mandarin) at his solo concert in Bastau. There is also song one with his parents and even one with even more singers from his family. And remember that Dimash told it's not about who is best but just about enjoy the music. Short summary of information: Kazakh singer (currently) 25 years old. This is a Chinese singing competition for professional (famous) singers. Billion views almost each year (from 2017). All singers get nervous here, no matter how many years on stage or how famous they are but this show is really famous and a self-proving thing so always high expectations. This is a classic (sad) French song, he changed it up a little from the original (not much but more his own style).
Dimash is the best all singer on to this planet, there is no comparison. I am also a fan of Macalito but he is no where near dimash.

Dimash can't be compared to anyone else. He is on completely different level. He is the greatest singer and vocalist of our time. He don't just sing. He can sing bass, baritone, tenor, soprano, rap, alien (as in Fifth Element)....etc. His incredible mastery in interpreting and conveying the very essence of every song he sing sets him apart from the rest. He can sing practically nearly anything in practically nearly every genres and in multiple languages. He is multi instrumentalist. He composes and arranges songs too. He is diamond of first water in music. Dimash is also the ONLY MALE who can sing The Diva Dance from The Fifth Element successfully live.multiple times.....the rest are all females. Those female singer's vwrsions are good.....but Dimash's versions surpassed them all. I know....because I've watched them all.
This dude is really on a whole different level. His range is ridiculous
sure but it's not just about that. He's got such amazing control over
his voice that only comes from years of practice and study. He's doing
things in this video that the top singers in the world would struggle
with and he's making it look effortless. In addition to that he's
singing in a foreign language, that he does not speak, and doing it
better than some native speakers. The word genius gets thrown around a
lot these days but there really isn't another that adequately describes
the depth of this mans' talent.

Hello Ladies....This is Dimash lol are you both ok? Dimash was on a show from China called I am Singer in 2017. You can go there and see all of his performances that he did. When he started on the show no one had ever heard of him and of course never heard him sing before, not even the other contestants on the show...by the second song ( Opera 2 ) the audience fell in love with him. Dimash was 22 on this show and is now going to be 25 this May. Dimash is from Kazakhstan where he started his singing lessons at the age of 5. Dimash is also trained in Opera. I hope you will do more of this talented young man. Dimash on the show also sings in different languages too. The song you just heard was in French...the song Confessa starts w/ Chinese but, he sings most of it in Italian also after that song ( same video ) he sings the Diva Dance....from the movie The fifth element. Yes, at the contest in China, Kazakh singer Dinmukhammad Kudaibergen (Dimash) sang in French with a microscopic accent a very serious song, very famous and beloved in France. This song is from the Canadian-French rock opera Starmania, written in 1976 by Michel Berger and written by Luc Plamondon. He made his debut in 1978 with a studio recording of songs, before the stage premiere in 1979. The main character sings this lullaby when he loses his beloved. This is a lullaby. I would like to recommend you a young and talented China Singer. Hua Chenyu is one of the current top Chinese Singer in China Mainland. He is basically a Rock Singer but able to manage many different styles of songs. He participated in many singing programme and achieved fantastic results. Singer 2018 has allowed him to showcase his capabilities because he has to compete with many other artists. He has proven his creativity and abilities in rearranging and composing of songs. The wonderful part of him is he sing very well too. I hope you will not miss this wonderful artist. Please do reaction videos on “Ordinary Path" in Singer 2018. Thank you.
LOVE "ORDINARY PATH" ! When Hua Chenyu perform, he is like telling a story and draws everybody into his world. He is really good at expressing his feelings in his own way.
Ordinary Path really display Hua Chenyu’s vocal power. It is not easy to rearrange this song. However he was able to bring the emotion in this song very strongly. Many audiences were touched and sing along with him.
