    Help the low income SSA NOW.

    • @SupportGuideChannel

      Absolutely-many low-income Social Security recipients need more support now. Cost-of-living adjustments help, but they often fall short in covering essentials with today’s prices. Advocating for stronger support and targeted increases can make a real difference for those struggling to get by on limited benefits. It’s time to prioritize meaningful aid for those who rely on Social Security the most.

    Impliment the LONG overdue raise in payroll FICA and lift the cap on no SS taxed on earnings over $160k and payback the money congress stole from SS. Problem solved.

    • @SupportGuideChannel
      @SupportGuideChannel  8 дней назад +1

      You’ve hit on some solid solutions! Raising the payroll FICA rate and lifting the income cap so that earnings above $160,000 are taxed would significantly strengthen Social Security’s funding. And if Congress were to repay the borrowed funds, it could further stabilize the program. These changes could create a more sustainable system without burdening low-income retirees-simple adjustments that many believe are long overdue.

    New sources of funding will never include taxing billionaires.

    • @SupportGuideChannel
      @SupportGuideChannel  8 дней назад +2

      It often feels that way, doesn’t it? Despite frequent discussions about increasing taxes on the wealthiest individuals, new funding sources rarely seem to target billionaires directly. Instead, proposals tend to focus on broader measures that affect a wider base. This can be frustrating when it seems like those with the most resources often contribute the least to solutions for funding essential programs.

    Raise the payroll tax from 6.2 to 8.2, this will help tremendously for the people in the future.

      It's totally understandable to be skeptical-there's a lot of uncertainty around changes to programs like Social Security. But hopefully, the plans and proposals will bring positive outcomes. Fingers crossed that they deliver the support that people truly need!

    Since when did Trump concern himself about law and the US Constitution?

    • @edeymann

      Since 2016

    • @SupportGuideChannel
      @SupportGuideChannel  8 дней назад +1

      It's a common question, especially given some of the controversies surrounding Trump's time in office. Supporters argue that Trump prioritized American interests, sometimes challenging traditional interpretations of the Constitution to push his agenda. Critics, however, feel that he often tested legal limits, particularly with actions that raised constitutional questions, like his approach to executive orders and interactions with the judiciary. Ultimately, his presidency sparked a lot of debate about the balance between leadership and constitutional boundaries.

    Short answer... Good

  • @mariealviar4250
    @mariealviar4250 8 дней назад +1

    Make the rich pay their fair share of taxes. The middle class alone cannot sustain this. Why do we, middle class, have to pay more income taxes than the rich? Not only did I pay more during all the years I worked, I am still having to pay taxes now on my social security. Make this make sense.

    • @SupportGuideChannel
      @SupportGuideChannel  8 дней назад +1

      It’s frustrating, and many people feel the same way. While middle-class workers bear a significant tax burden, some wealthy individuals pay a lower effective tax rate due to loopholes and tax breaks. This creates an imbalance where middle-income earners end up shouldering a disproportionate share. And being taxed again on Social Security, after years of contributions, adds to the unfairness. There’s growing support for tax reforms to ensure those with the most resources contribute fairly-it’s about creating a system that truly makes sense for everyone.
