This POS Administration Biden and Harris send billions to other countries but nothing for us here in the USA. Anything would help, I'm partially disabled and living on a fixed income and these last four years have been miserable

If you take away taxes on Social Security, that will quicken the time it takes Social Security to become insolvent it’s plain and simple

No more double taxation period.

The government needs to repay all the money they borrowed from SS over the years with interest and that would solve the problem.

End the FED, go to a gold backed standard, cut government by %80, gut the IRS, straight flat tax on new purchased items only, stop funding other countries, raise tarifs on foreign made products and bring manufacturing back to the USA. This will make our country wealthy again.

Well we have a defense budget it takes up 50% of the nation's budget overall... We can start there by trimming part of that and putting that money into social security... This country spends more on defense than the next 15 or 20 countries combined

We don’t make enough to be concerned with taxes as well are living in poverty.

I’m on SSD and have been getting 1,000 a month to live on I’ve had it hard and now gas and electricity is up and I’m behind 2,000 I don’t know how they even let me get the bill that high.

Please put my money in Wells Fargo bank. I’m only getting $190 a month. I’m 75 years old surgery confined to wheelchair. Totally disabled and I cannot live on $190 a month on SSI just because I owed some back taxes when Covid hit and everybody was out of work. IRS is very crooked to do that to seniors. I’m in a wheelchair cannot work so they surgery can’t pay them back what they say I owe and so I’m gonna be penalized forever. I want my money back.

Now is not the time to ‘wonder ‘ what is going to happen. The plan is to cut benefits. Anyone who was paying attention would know that. What should be done now is to remove the cap on contributions.

The problem is that when the 85% tax rule was passed back during President Ronald Reagan’s administration, it was never indexed for inflation. What is not a lot of money these days was quite a bunch more in terms of income around 1981. All that needs doing is amend that law making the inflation index retroactive to 1981. I’m doing this from memory so I might be off a year or two when the legislation passed. I think it was passed the same year Congress raised the Social Security full retirement age from 65 to 67. I will be surprised if they don’t do that again too.

I get 19,000 dollars maybe a little over a year and that's not much but it's better than nothing like some of these other countries have if you're so unhappy here maybe go to another country and try to live
