You have to put the PSA Rock 5.7 handgun in this challenge too!!! It's high capacity and very well built with good ergonomics. All it needs is better sights. It's pretty simple for me. The two flaws you have with the smith are easily fixed by adding an optic and adding to the grip. You can always add to the grip, but it's pretty hard to take away.

Sorry, disagree with you, the Ruger shot better despite the heavier trigger. I also like the Ruger sights better and it does come optics ready, just a weird off set screw mount. I tend to like a fatter grip, but I'd be ok with the Ruger. My vote is for the Ruger.

It looked like you were faster with the SW but more accurate with the Ruger. It also seemed like the SW was more functional for you, especially in regards to the slide release. Great comparison!

The S&W does have an optional pistol with thumb safety , I just picked mine up yesterday without the saftey(S&W) waiting for my red dot, can't wait to send some down range!!! keep em coming Yoki !! your content is fire baby !! the 215 is riding !

Smith no contest in shooting and accuracy triggers immensely better gas system is legit ..more rds..slimmer profile , threaded barrel..no plate needed for mini reds...stainless mag n barrel...only thing I could see is putting a fiber optic on front..but part of this guns great design is the optic so really becomes less of an issue

I have the S&W but honestly i like the look of the ruger.
I would go with the S&W 57. It's functions were smoother and it absolutely bad no hickups. Maybe the accuracy was a tad bit off but that can be fixed.
So excited about my Ruger 57 pistol that I bought the Ruger 5.7 LC. Loving the way it shoots and the ability to exchange the magazines.

There are optic plates that are sold to add optics on the Ruger 5.7. I have a Burris red dot on mine and it looks great and is very functional.
