    @Something Cinema,
20:57 I doubt that. Miss Minutes is the way she is because she wrote her own programs, remember?
21:24 Yup! But Miss Minutes is going to spin the truth. Miss Minutes wants to replace Ravonna, she can't tell her that she erased her mind, lol. HWR's death and rebirth is an elaborate scheme to recreate a lost love story, I believe. Miss Minutes is jumping at the opportunity to replace Ravonna, while both Victor and Ravonna are in the dark.
21:44 Why not? Phase 4 spend a lot of time explaining to us that the Sacred Timeline is the Multiverse and that all universe in the multiverse rhyme. It also made it pretty clear that time isn't leaner in the Multiverse. We visually saw branches on the Sacred Timeline growing at different rates and lengths--Sylvie's branched timeline which is the present is in the year 1982; Universe 616, where the MCU's core stores take place, is in the year 2026. These aren't the only clues either! The penultimate episode from last season introduced us to Teen Loki and Classic Loki along with many other Lokis, but these two are enough. We heard all of their Nexus Events, and even though we didn't see their stories, we know them because we heard/saw Loki/Thor talk about them in previous movies. The TVA pruned all the Lokis from the Sacred Timeline roughly around the same time--time isn't a factor to them. Despite being pruned from time at the same time, we have a Teenaged Loki, present-day Loki, and Classic Loki, a man who survived Thanos for thousands of years before giving on on his isolation. Classic Loki's universe was much farther ahead in its story than Teen Loki's universe and maybe a thousand or two ahead of present-day Loki. But wait! There's more! No Way Home gave us three Spider-Men, and it didn't pull people from the past but from their present time in the universe! Toby Maguire's Spider-Man is obviously the farthest ahead, as he and Mary Jane are together and figure out how to make their lives work. Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man is still dealing with the loss of Gwen, and Tom Holland's Spider-Man has only been Spider-Man for a couple of years. You see? Time isn't leaner in the Multiverse.
Victor Timely is as eccentric as HWR was. The only difference I see is confidence. 1893 is just 28 years after slavery was abolished. It's hard being a Black man in the US now, imagine how hard it must have been back then--weren't you just joking about Ravonna standing out? We saw a wealthy White Investor trying to sucker Victor into selling him his patent, which would have given him total ownership over his invention, but Victor was smart enough to see through that man's schemes and turned the table on him with his shill in the crowd. We saw another White man playing down his invention--these things must have been soul-crushing for a man more intelligent than the smartest people on the planet. The things Victor saw in his head did work--you'll recall in Multiverse of Madness that dreams are the gateway to a variants other variants. Unbeknownst to Victor, he saw the success/inventions of his other selves. Victor just happened to live in an era that lacked the tools to make his inventions work. HWR was confident because he was successful; he won and he held all of time in the palm of his hands. HWR knew everything.
    23:09 True!
23:11 That's because Ravonna interacted with time! She changed Victor's future. She sped up his story. Had she let things play out, it would have taken him much longer to do what he inevitably always does, create the first branching timelines.
23:25 Yes, and no. Ravonna sped up his timetable, but Victor was always Victor. The Avengers screwed up 2014, allowing Loki the means to escape, Loki stayed Loki, right?
23:39 The thing to remember about Sylvie is that she's a Loki Variant. The season finale was her Battle for New York, which Loki referenced in episode two when trying to make Mobius feel better after he hit Brad. Loki came to Earth and started a fight because he was pissed at his brother and father. Sylvie wrecked the TVA and HWR because they ruined her life. Loki has had time to reflect and he's on his redemption arc. Sylvie's is just about to start. Like universes in the Multiverse rhyming, the same is true with variants...and we saw this with phase 4 variants. I can't help but keep pointing to No Way Home, but an even better example would be the Spider-Verse stories since that story is the story of Spider-Man Variants and there are sooooooooooooooooooooo many of them to look at, lol.
24:11 they are on the run, remember? They know the moment they make a move that the TVA will be on them. They were moving earlier during the chaos, which they used to their advantage. They did what Sylvie used to do to evade the watchful eyes of TVA hunters. That's not easy to do when you don't have the cover of all those branches that Dox just erased. They'll be able to move soon, as OB confirmed that the branches are growing again, and soon they'll be at critical mass again.
24:35 I think it is going to happen, and I wouldn't be surprised if Miss Minutes becomes the MCU's Annihilus down the road. She's obsessed with HWR, and I don't see this ending well for her. What's she going to do when HWR still chooses Ravonna over her? She's not going to throw her arms up and go, well, I tried and congratulate Ravonna on a well-played game, is she?
24:43 She's hurting. She was robbed of her life. She doesn't want to kill everyone. She just acknowledged that dreaming of killing Ravonna a thousand different ways wasn't healthy. Rather than killing Ravonna, she sent her to spend eternity in ruin and death, a fate worse than death, if you ask me. We already know that Sylvie will be in a better place, and we saw it in episode one of season two when Loki jumped to the future--that story is coming back into play in about two weeks!
25:23 Victor Timely very likely IS HWR. Kang, is likely one of his more ambitious variants who gets lost along the way, warring with himself.
Nice reaction! Can't wait for episode 4, it's sure to be a banger =)

Ordinary tempads can't take you to the end of time, and they can't bring you back. Only the tempad He who remains made, which Sylvie now has, has that capability... for now.

This was a terrific episode. I liked how the MCU intro theme had an old-fashioned feel to it.The set design for this episode was very gorgeous. There were some outstanding visual effects in the old Timely Miss Minutes I. Miss Minutes' envy of Ravonna Renslayer would be entertaining throughout the show. Loki's Season 2 writing is excellent. I especially enjoy the interaction between Loki and Mobius. Miss Mintues' Ghost Clock is incredible. Victor Timely was this episode's MVP. Miss Minutes' desire for a body and love with He Who Remains was an intriguing plot twist. Miss Minutes, who declared her love for He Who Remains/Victor Timely, was also creepy. This episode revealed the origins of Miss Minutes. Another fascinating detail revealed during Loki season 2 is that Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes are carrying out He Who Remains' plan. Renslayer discovered Miss Minutes hiding in a nearby shed and learned that He Who Remains had a plan in case he died. I really enjoyed Victor Timely's interactions with Loki, Mobius, Ravonna, Miss Minutes, and Sylvie in this episode. In doing so, she would begin carrying out His plan by leaving a Time Variance Authority Official Handbook in the window of a little lodge, where an adolescent Victor Timely would discover it. Miss Minutes knowing all of He Who Remains' secrets is a frightening sight in and of itself.Miss Minutes notifying Ravonna Renslayer of a key secret about her was a terrific way to close this episode. It was a magnificent image to see He Who Remains' lifeless body at the Citadel at the End of Time. This episode's antique camera shots stood out to me.I'm hoping to see Balder the Brave in the MCU one day."Minutes also indicates that she knows a significant truth about Ravonna herself, which will "make her really upset." That was some great dialogue. Here are some interesting facts. In the comics, Kang the Conqueror time traveled to 1901 and established himself as an industrialist and inventor named Victor Timely. Timely, Wisconsin was established. Kang founded Timely Industries, which uses future information to advance technical innovation.Frederick Douglass served as an inspiration on Victor Timely's appearance in this series.

20:35 WELL, He Who Remains (HWR) was privy to everything that ever happened, and YOU KNOW he saw Ultron and how much of a problem he was. Miss Minutes is far more sophisticated than Ultron ever was; she's built from technology that doesn't even exist presently in the universe where the MCU's core stores take place. In the comics, Kang's technology comes from the 31st Century. This story has yet to say that, but despite the TVA's retro 60/70s look it's very, very sophisticated technology.
Miss Minutes is alive. She's beyond Ultron, beyond Vision, and many viewers of the MCU would argue that Vision is alive, and Vision is the child of Jarvis and Ultron, an alien AI combined with Tony's AI assistant. Despite being 2D she's able to physically interact with the environment. Your video cuts too early, but if you go back to this moment (11:39) and re-watch it, you'll see her tear the flags down.
HWR gave Miss Minutes full autonomy to write and improve her own programming, but he kept her from making her own physical body. I figure because of Ultron, but also because he had no need for her to have one. She could already do what she needed to do. Creepy or not, Miss Minutes has grown beyond her programming. Like humans of worship who want to emulate their gods, and be with their gods, she too wants that life. To be honest, I don't think it's that weird--Ultron did the same thing! He made himself pretty similar to his Iron Man creator.
Miss Minutes doesn't have any ill intent towards HWR, she's in love with him. She's in love with his brilliance, his intellect. She's still not on his level--she's following his plan and can't seem to figure out where this is all heading, though she knows that his plan leads to his return. HWR told Loki and Sylvie he's lived a million lifetimes watching over the Sacred Timeline and he spent much of that time with Miss Minutes. It's no wonder she's infatuated with him! Every night was date night, and she doesn't want to give that up.
The first episode of season two and an episode from season one tease something huge, the thing I assume Miss Minutes is about to spill to Ravonna this week. Ravonna and HWR were partners--we heard that on the tape--though if this follows the comics, they were much more than that! We heard HWR thank her for her help during the Multiversal War, which was before the TVA--the TVA was created after the war to protect the Sacred Timeline according to Miss Minutes way back in season one. Do you remember the water ring on Ravonna's table back in season one? Mobius asked about it, and Ravonna swore up and down that it must have been from the last time she had a drink with Mobius, but he didn't remember doing it. I think the water ring was from HWR's last visit with Ravonna, just before she forgot about him.
When Sylvie asked Ravonna what her Nexus Event was Ravonna told her that she didn't remember. Many of us likely thought Ravonna was being flippant, but the first episode of season two explains that everyone at the TVA doesn't remember because they all had their minds wiped, well, everyone but OB.
I think Kang's story is a love story, a story of lost love. I think Miss Minutes in a fit of jealousy and scheming erased the minds of those at the TVA because she wanted Ravonna to forget about HWR, which Ravonna did. HWR couldn't undo what Miss Minutes had done because TemPads are only gateways to the present outside the Sacred Timeline. HWR had everything, but the person he loved, and the only way to get that person back was for him to die, and win her over again.
HWR was very confident in his final breath when he told Sylvie that he'd see her again soon, and he was confident of that because he knew the first variant, the one that likely created the Multiverse, existed on the Sacred Timeline before the Multiverse existed; in fact, the original variant, Victor Timely, is likely the person that created the Multiverse in the first place. Victor's life's work (15:25) his time-traveling ship that we saw in Quantumania was very likely one of his last creations. We can see that Victor is a man way beyond the time he lives. I suspect that before he breathed his last breath that he managed to get his machine to work, and he visited a younger version of himself not unlike Biff Tannen in Back to the Future 2. I think Victor did something similar to what Biff did, explained the future to his younger self while giving him his time machine moments before dying himself--this was likely the first branch on the Sacred Timeline, something Victor didn't yet know.
As we are seeing now, without a curator watching over the Sacred Timeline as HWR did, branches on the timeline will grow uncontrollably like wild weeds, over and over again. HWR eventually realized his error, and he took measures to make sure it wouldn't happen again. He removed himself from the Sacred Timeline and pruned all the branches, he made sure that his original self never went back in time to give himself the very thing that started this whole mess in the first place--HWR has been protecting the Multiverse from himself, and he was doing it with the love of his life. I don't think he's the villain many see him to be.
