I absolutely LOVE the Arkham knight design it looks like a militarized version of a batman and robin combination which is exactly what I would imagine jason designing for his suit to take on batman
I don’t really have a favorite but a design I always loved was the Mad Hatter from Arkham city. His costume is clearly patched together from random fabrics and well it looks really striking it also kind of resembles a quilt witch seems to give a layer of child like incense. This is conflicted with his kidnaper face and beyond delusional personality.
@@bigchungus3589 No it isn't, I'm not any sort of stalker although I like her a lot. Besides, she's not a person who would want to give up her mind for any guy, which is precisely one of the many reasons I like her.
Scarecrow from Knight is definitely my favourite. I always liked his character since asylum and was super curious what they would do with him, as we say his mask and toxin in City. I actually dressed up as him in my high school once for Halloween. Me and a couple of friends took over the school announcements (As they were projected onto Smartboards) and did what Scarecrow does in the beginning of Knight. We got suspended for a week, worth it though
My favorite design was Two Face in City and Knight. It was a perfect mixture of his animated series look (white suit) and his dark knight appearance (scars). Also not just his appearance, but his portrayal was perfect. The way he would switch voices whenever a different personality spoke was genius and Troy Baker made him sound terrifying, but also tragic. Shame he was shoved to just side missions and minor roles. Would've loved to see more of him since he had so much potential as a secondary antagonist
Personally my favorite character design in the Arkham series is Riddler’s from Arkham City. I feel like it fits his character the most, especially with his bowler hat and question mark designed cane.
I LOVE Catwoman’s Arkham City costume. City created this amazing look for her, Knight’s just looks upgraded to me I feel like city just made her character for me just through her outfit, It gave me the most understanding of her mannerisms and her character and I just love it. 😩
I really like penguins look in Arkham City. From the glass in his eye to how he dresses. I think the voice acting is great and the attention to detail are all very amazing qualities that bring the character to life in a cool way. Plus he has a whole mob boss attitude (obviously)
Always loved Arkham's neo-steampunk look. Thought some of that got lost in Origin's more cartoony design. Does the 'Assault on Arkham' tie in movie count? Because Harley's design is best in that. I'd go for that as my favourite
Black Mask. You just GOTTA love how slick he looks. Definition of class, but with the hunch of terror in the skull to set him apart. The white suit was a great choice, and his more slick and shiny black skull mask really sets him apart from most of his prior incarnations while being loyal to the character.
My favorite design has to be the classic Harley Quinn skin from the Arkham Knight Batgirl dlc. Already Knight makes these characters look near human, like they're real people instead of pixels. Add that to the fact that the classic design, for me, is the best design Harley's ever had. She looks like a harleyquinn, it's extremely 'ahem' form fitting and with the Knight graphics it looks bloody amazing. Like smooth and all and so real. Also the bauble things on her head hat thing are fun to just watch swing randomly. She looks great!
Im gonna say two-face in knight. They really nailed the two-face look, sure we only see him for a few minutes but the burns on the suit and the face are just perfect, i cant wait to them top this two-face
Personally, I ADORE Arkham Asylum’s Scarecrow design. I don’t know what it is about it, I just think all of this elements in combination is sooo cool. The noose around his neck, the skinny torso and how he looks beaten like an animal, the mask (which is the best part of the design. It’s so creepy and fits the character perfectly, with its glowing orange eyes and very sack-like appearance), as well as his needle glove which is one of my favourite aspects of Scarecrow, and one I think should be on every version of Scarecrow - and his voice is great as well, although this doesn’t relate to his design. Actually like it better than the one in Knight. It’s just the right amount of a cool and creepy mix.
Scarecrow looks so cool in the scene from Arkham Knight were Gordon shoots Batman. When you first see him standing on t he edge of the roof he just looks so tall and intimidating. So much better than the weird crack-goblin from Asylum!
Honestly, my favourite look in the arkham series would have to be clayface from City. I don't know why I like him so much. I think I just really like his face. And, although nobody asked, my least favourite design is Bruce Wayne from Origins. His head is just terrible. His chin could stop a bullet. He is also WAAAAAY too buff. Don't know what they were thinking.
Niki N. I totally agree with your opinion on Origins Bruce Wayne lol. I think the reason they made him so buff, is to emphasize his inexperience. His mentality being, the more muscles he has, the stronger he will be. However, he later realizes that all that bulk not only makes him stand out, but weighs him down. So he learns to be more lean than a muscle head. That’s why idea anyway.
I love Tim Drake's Robin design. He never had a buzzcut hair cut in the comic's, but I liked his hooded look from Arkham City more than the no hood in Arkham Knight.
My favourite arkham character design would probably be scarecrow(in arkham knight) or arkham knight not just because of how they look but the story it tells, scarecrow looks like a changed person after what he witnessed in arkham asylum, arkham knight because it shows a copy of batman which makes players confused until the Jason Todd stuff
My list is almost the same. 5. Arkham Killer Croc 4. Knight Harley Quinn 3. Knight Poison Ivy 2. City Freeze 1. Knight Scarecrow Scarecrow is my favorite because I've always thought he should be higher on the totem pole of Batman's rogues and to me this is one of his few looks that actually presents a character who deserves that treatment. I like the games versions of other characters like Black Mask, Catwoman, Two-Face, and Batgirl too but they're really just more detailed versions of other versions of those characters so they never stood out to me as much as the ones I thought were great and original. Deathstroke is also worth mentioning because I really like the look on it's own but I don't like the idea that he would normally need heavy armor like the Origins or New 52 suits so I always preferred the lighter ones.
My favorite design is probably Firefly from Origins. I love the wing-like design of the jetpack, and the mask and color scheme look excellent. Probably my favorite firefly design in general, he looks extremely badass. Im not sure if this counts towards his design, but crispin freemans voice for him is perfect as well. Just tops off everything
Arkham Knight/Red Hood is just so damn cool. What they were able to do with the mask was great and the body looked like a batsuit crossed with a military uniform. There are just so many cool little details all over the character model, I had to pick this one as my favorite.
honestly i’m not sure exactly what it was but the design for ra’s al ghul in both city right after he comes out of the pit with the glowing skin and symbols was so amazing. also in knight when you see him and he’s basically just a walking dead person and you can see so clearly the effects the pit has had on him over the years
The Arkham’ series is interesting in that as the games progressed, the designs of the characters changed. Instead of being inspired from the comics, they went more realistic. I don’t mind it, but I do miss the simplicity of the earlier character design.
Mr. Hammer is the coolest looking minion in the series. His hammer, tattoos, and massive scar make him the most intimidating thing ever. His clown makeup is only a bonus
Catwoman’s catsuit was translated really well in my opinion, it feels new and fresh yet has the nostalgia of past catsuits, for me the Arkham series look is the definitive Catwoman look
My personal favourite design from across all of the batman arkham games would have to be Batman arkham knights version of Tim Drake, he's design looks so different from his comic counterpart. It makes him fell more unique . Not to say he's comic design is bad it just feels similar to the other robins.
The best looking character design in my opinion was robin from Arkham city. I think his hood and red armored outfit make him more of a legitimate threat almost and he is taken more seriously in this rendition.
for me my favourite one had to be ras al ghul for the reason that he looks far more refined as he does and the green tattoos he has kinda gives me the feel of the Lazarus pit running through his veins giving him the power that he loves and also he looks more like a warrior than a king and ras al ghul is such a skilled foe that he has the appearance of a prince but the characteristics of a warrior and his lush for the worthy one to take his place as a new warrior which in this case was batman and for some reason ras al ghul is so overlooked throughout the series but I feel like he deserved more recognition through the series and I also really like hush's character design as he looks so good in his normal form with his trench coat and his scarred face and also his character design in knight was really good for the reason you could see the scars on his face from the stitching which has now mostly healed and I also love the detail of ras having green eyes again going back to the Lazarus surging through his body because he has used the Lazarus pit quite a lot again just like in the comics 600 years and it genuinely for me looks so cool as he looks as one with the Lazarus pit
death-stroke in origins is my favorite design because i love the tactical look and all of his weapons and armor looks like he can take on an army. He also has a pretty good color scheme that's not in your're face and with all of his battle scars and stuff it looks like been to hell and back.
The best look? Definitely the Mr. Freeze from the... Origins. Yes, Origins. The one that looks like he had an aquarium on his head. It's just a psychological trick. The more space you take, the more powerful you are. And hell, he took a lot of space...
My favorite design has to be Bane from Origins, it was finally able to make a design for bane that didn't just look like the hulk with a mask and tubes, but instead looked almost militaristic, even the luchador mask looked great
I think my favorite is the riddler from Arkham knight. The way he looks like a mechanic that has been working all night setting trophies and building robots really sells it
My favourite character design is probably the Arkham knight. He’s got that military look to him and he also has those little bat ears which fit perfectly. I also like how the amount of colours on him don’t look goofy, they fit his character and they work within the environment.
I’d have to say for me? Nightwing from Arkham City. I know he wasn’t in the main game, but I’m counting it. The Arkham Knight design was imo super bulky in terms of the armor, and that mask was WAY too big. The City designed streamlined the comic look with the Arkham Series aesthetic to make imo the best Nightwing suit in gaming. It looks like an acrobat spandex jumpsuit, but at the same time it gives off a combat and protected vibe with the kneepads, gauntlets, and the blue crest. It looks like an ACTUAL interpretation of what an IRL Nightwing suit would look like while still keeping its comic book elements.
I have to say that personally my favorite character design is Killer Croc from Arkham Origins; he's still clearly human unlike the other Arkham versions and he feels more human too. There's an intent with every move he makes.
Please include more photos in these. I had to look up all these other design because I had no idea what they looked like. I'm fairly new to the Arkham series so I haven't seen all the designs.
My favourite character design is the arkham Knight batsuit. It was intimidating, militaristic, I loved the way the rain looked on it, and it just looked so modern and practical
The arkham knight itself is an absolute eyegasm in term of design. Perfectly the exact opposite of batman but actually well made, the neon to represent the fact that he hides in light and batman hides in dark, the millitary style of the armor shows a lot more brutality in the character instead of just looking like an average vigilante, and the "diamond/crystal" shape on the chest, elbow and legs is the goddamn cherry on top of the cake. Definitly planning making a cosplay soon!
My favorite character design would have to be the Riddler from Arkham City. To me it looks really realistic to what he would wear and the details are just superb. I always used to check his character model out and be in awe of the details on his stubble and hair especially, that crazy look on his face is fantastic.
I loved Scarecrow's design in Knight. He looked scarier in Knight and I think is the scariest villain in the series. And I agree with all your reasons but he's my favorite design. But I do love Batman's suit in Knight and I think is the best looking suit and just best suit in the series.
In the Court of Owls Arkham game I think that the joker should be in that game as a side quest because the Arkham games are mainly about the connection between the joker and batman My idea is that in the story quite early on you do a short mission and end up putting him in Arkham but if you choose to do the side mission he breaks out and this is the longest side quest that you could do simultaneously with the main story
One of my favorite designs was the Arkham Knight. With all the military type gear, he looked so clean. And the way his mask sorts mirrored Batman was awesome. Even when his masked turned red, it still looked high tech and slick. He just looked so badass and really looked like a an anti-batman
My favourite character design is definitely hush in City. He looks terrifying and he really makes you imagine the things he does and the consequences if he took your identity, I loved the side mission with him and my anticipation of seeing him wasn’t let down.
I remember playing Arkham City and when Robin appeared for the first time. I thought he looked pretty badass with the hood and the Staff. I think Nightwing from Knight was also pretty dope.

His costume is clearly patched together from random fabrics and well it looks really striking it also kind of resembles a quilt witch seems to give a layer of child like incense. This is conflicted with his kidnaper face and beyond delusional personality.
My favorite look probably has to be Nora Fries from Origins. I feel like they did her design really well for just a side character in a DLC pack.
Catwoman from city is my favourite charecter desighn, its sexy, sleek and suits the enviroment
Her body there is the best but I prefer her face in Knight. Also love the 60s Catwoman because she looks like my former co-worker.
Hirnlego999 that’s a lil creepy
@@bigchungus3589 No it isn't, I'm not any sort of stalker although I like her a lot. Besides, she's not a person who would want to give up her mind for any guy, which is precisely one of the many reasons I like her.
Hirnlego999 bruh u kinda weird
Hirnlego999 boi you deadass have a shrine to her in your basement
Scarecrow from Knight is definitely my favourite. I always liked his character since asylum and was super curious what they would do with him, as we say his mask and toxin in City. I actually dressed up as him in my high school once for Halloween. Me and a couple of friends took over the school announcements (As they were projected onto Smartboards) and did what Scarecrow does in the beginning of Knight. We got suspended for a week, worth it though
Good move, buddy.
You’re a legend for this
My favorite design was Two Face in City and Knight. Would've loved to see more of him since he had so much potential as a secondary antagonist
another neat little thing with him is that the name on the subtitles in Knight changes depending on what personality is talking
Personally my favorite character design in the Arkham series is Riddler’s from Arkham City. I feel like it fits his character the most, especially with his bowler hat and question mark designed cane.
I love that he has glasses instead of a mask
@@seanmiller4170 That's an idea Gotham picked up on, too.
Agreed.
I feel like the worst riddler look is in knight, he looks like he just came back from a vacation in Hawaii
My favorite is prolly Knight's Scarecrow. I love the more menacing vibe and how he's even more of a psychological threat now.
I LOVE Catwoman’s Arkham City costume. City created this amazing look for her, Knight’s just looks upgraded to me I feel like city just made her character for me just through her outfit, It gave me the most understanding of her mannerisms and her character and I just love it. 😩
Joker in Origins is arguably my favorite Joker design ever. It's so damn good.
I'm with them. Best Joker is Luke but best design is Troy's
Aww
We all know it's just cause she's peng
Catwoman in Arkham City since it gave the Ghey boy in me everything I needed.
I really loved the Joker in Origins too tho.
It's one of my favorite designs for the character in any medium. Glad you liked it too!
Scarecrow looks so cool in the scene from Arkham Knight were Gordon shoots Batman. When you first see him standing on t he edge of the roof he just looks so tall and intimidating. So much better than the weird crack-goblin from Asylum!
My favourite look is Penguin from Arkham Knight, there’s something sexy about seeing him in that shirt.
Yes
I would of had two face in there, the detail of his burnt side with his coin is incredible
My favourite Character design would be the joker from origins as it is my favourite arkham game and he just looks sick
Nightwings design in Knight was perfection. Im glad that one of my favourite superheroes was done right here.
For me, the best design is origins joker because
A) I love how it’s like a young asylum/city joker
B) the tailcoat from the comics
C) nostalgia
He also has that heath ledger skin and vibe. Very well done Joker
I gotta say my favourite is Asylum Croc. His Knight look is good too, but in Asylum he looks more buff, plus the prison pants are great.
My list is almost the same.
5. Arkham Killer Croc
4. Knight Harley Quinn
3. Knight Poison Ivy
2. City Freeze
1. Knight Scarecrow
Scarecrow is my favorite because I've always thought he should be higher on the totem pole of Batman's rogues and to me this is one of his few looks that actually presents a character who deserves that treatment.
Why are the prisoners in Asylun barefooted ? They aren't in later games.
Later games have regular prison residents. Asylum residents tend to be barefoot to keep them from using them to harm themselves or others
@@JacobMcBaggins but the normal prisoners are all running around in their bare feet too apart from the Joker
I agree about Ivy. In Ivy and Asylum she looks a bit odd and alien like. Knight gave her the perfect balance with her still looking like a human.
I’ve always loved the sick Joker look. I always thought it brought out the creepy side of Joker very well!
Favorite design was Batman Beyond On Arkham knight and The Red hood from the story pack also on Arkham knight
Yes the red hood design for dlc AND for the arkham Knight costume are amazing, im not a fan of his look for gotham knights though.
I LOVE the arkham knight scare crow design
Scarecrow was badass fight me
Fine. Square up! 👊
@@Karlos1234ify Guess you'll have to go against both of us then
Let’s Go! 👊 🤜
@@Karlos1234ify Oh, shit... Hold up, maybe we can talk this out instead
Are we talking about the Asylum Scarecrow or Knight Scarecrow?
Arkham Knight/Red Hood is just so damn cool. What they were able to do with the mask was great and the body looked like a batsuit crossed with a military uniform. There are just so many cool little details all over the character model, I had to pick this one as my favorite.
"I think the knight Catwoman is zipped up more."
Me, so city is superior 😏
I prefer asylum ivy cus she's hotter as well 🤣
Arkham knights character design is actually my favorite in the whole game. He looks so goddamn cool and militarized
From my point of view I WAS FIRST
Andy Owski did you get the high ground tho
Nobody cares about that shit anymore, it just looks like you are left behind
Hirnlego999 THEN YOU ARE LOST
@@alpgul1689 I never jumped on that dumb bandwagon
Honestly, ivy in knights face just reminds me of an argonian.
honestly i’m not sure exactly what it was but the design for ra’s al ghul in both city right after he comes out of the pit with the glowing skin and symbols was so amazing. also in knight when you see him and he’s basically just a walking dead person and you can see so clearly the effects the pit has had on him over the years
The Arkham’ series is interesting in that as the games progressed, the designs of the characters changed.
Killer Crocs Arkham Knight appearance was absolutely stellar, it definitely should of made atleast the honourable mentions if not the actual list.
They put it on the worsts list
The best looking character design in my opinion was robin from Arkham city. I think his hood and red armored outfit make him more of a legitimate threat almost and he is taken more seriously in this rendition.
I like the Mr Freeze from Origins. The larger cluncky armour looks great for an early Batman era, and I like the traditional dome helmet he uses
Deathstroke in origins because come on, his bandana is perfect, mask and armor has the perfect amount of damage and polish. Looks insane
I really like firefly in origins. Love the wings and the yellow on the mask is a big improvement over the red
for me my favourite one had to be ras al ghul for the reason that he looks far more refined as he does and the green tattoos he has kinda gives me the feel of the Lazarus pit running through his veins giving him the power that he loves and also he looks more like a warrior than a king and ras al ghul is such a skilled foe that he has the appearance of a prince but the characteristics of a warrior and his lush for the worthy one to take his place as a new warrior which in this case was batman and for some reason ras al ghul is so overlooked throughout the series but I feel like he deserved more recognition through the series and I also really like hush's character design as he looks so good in his normal form with his trench coat and his scarred face and also his character design in knight was really good for the reason you could see the scars on his face from the stitching which has now mostly healed and I also love the detail of ras having green eyes again going back to the Lazarus surging through his body because he has used the Lazarus pit quite a lot again just like in the comics 600 years and it genuinely for me looks so cool as he looks as one with the Lazarus pit
Yeah man I agree
I'd like it if you guys showed clips from all the outfits in each game u talk about, as a refresher to see the ones you are talking about!
death-stroke in origins is my favorite design because i love the tactical look and all of his weapons and armor looks like he can take on an army.
I think the origins batsuit is actually my favorite, I just like the robust look of it
Every character design is perfect in the Arkham series that Dc even made an animated movie with the designs.
Oh God, finally someone who recognize how GOOD the joker's design in origins was. Thank you!
I think the best thing about Mr. Freeze's look is all the functions, contributing to that amazing fight
Definitive nightwing in my opinion. That's how he should look like in live action Batman movie.
I really like what they did with Penguin’s design. The glass bottle is a gritty detail that I love
My favourite character design is Alfred. I think he looks gorgeous.
I loved Scarecrow's design in Knight. He looked scarier in Knight and I think is the scariest villain in the series. And I agree with all your reasons but he's my favorite design. But I do love Batman's suit in Knight and I think is the best looking suit and just best suit in the series.
In the Court of Owls Arkham game I think that the joker should be in that game as a side quest because the Arkham games are mainly about the connection between the joker and batman
My idea is that in the story quite early on you do a short mission and end up putting him in Arkham but if you choose to do the side mission he breaks out and this is the longest side quest that you could do simultaneously with the main story
I think Poison Ivy looks best in the Asylum Bios along with a lot of other characters.
I remember playing Arkham City and when Robin appeared for the first time. I thought he looked pretty badass with the hood and the Staff. I think Nightwing from Knight was also pretty dope.
The red hood looked reallly nice too
