You know, I thought the Wizard Chef was some mean guy who just shouted at us for getting some random sauce bottle. I didn't think much of him first and kinda just laughed at him after getting killed by Terry. But I realized how this guy was more than that, he was willing to help us grab the Ghost Walker and even offered us a ghost potion and cooked meals for our future adventures. This dude has a very kindhearted soul and I'm so glad he was brought back as an ally/companion of the main character. MAKE THE WIZARD CHEF A SUMMONABLE CARD!!

not sure if anyone realizes this but block tales is one of the first games to become actually "known" in ROBLOX community while having a truckload of originality, storytelling and, most importantly, soul, so much so that it's one of the first games to be this close to the perfection I had originally envisioned on ROBLOX, so we oughta appreciate it while it's here cuz who knows how long it'll take for another talented group of passionate developers to be born again
what not many people are realising is, demo 3 gave us huge lore. if all this is inside our character’s mind, our character is DEFINITELY not okay. the fact that we touch the ghostwalker KNOWING we’ll die, the fact that the first thing we do in confusion is attack someone… another little detail, shedletsky sent us to save builderman by getting the 7 swords, but if builderman is hatred, who/what are we saving him from exactly…? or, it wasn’t builderman, it was our mind playing tricks on us. either way, there’s lore building up. i’m excited to see more of it. but afraid that if demo 3 turned into psychological horror halfway through, what will demo 4 be? such an amazing game so far! edit: builderman isn't hatred, hatred just tricked us into thinking he is. before you wake up, builderman's text has hatred's color.
Yeah Hatred was disguised as builderman to play a trick on us to kill all our other emotions to free our vessel. But still I think our character is NOT ok in the head at all, and I feel like this is only one of the time's we're going to have a breakdown, it definitely is not over yet for Hatred is what I'm betting. We surpressed it, not killed it. I have a feeling that eventually we're going to have another mental breakdown again and it'll be much more worse this time. I was never expecting my avatar to be in some nightmare realm, fighting four different monsters that are based off of a feeling you have stuck inside. This chapter blew my mind.

with the ghost chef, and the cold king, and tutorial terry, it really emphasized that these characters are more than their "bad side", that theyre just people, and you finally get to get closer to them and understand them, chapter 3 is peak. i hope soon we get the same for the griefer, since it seemed he was also troubled

Demo 3 really made the entire story get more lore impacting and I love it Massive thank you to Unknown and his team for giving Roblox what it really needs A great RPG
This fits so well, beating Greed, Solitude, Fear, and mainly Hatred, which are probably illusions to help purify the soul, sounds like a awesome win, but a mix of Pacanea. This chapter was, quite interesting, i loved the bosses, i loved everything about it. Can't wait to see what Chapter 4 - Firebrand is like!
Honestly, this song opens my mind on a wider view about this game even though it is only 3 demos. It takes you on adventurous journey to discover, help and learn about characters. Every NPC is crafted so perfectly to the point it has a unique feel and style. When I beat demo 3 it showed that the past 2 demos had something in mind. Cruel king only fought for his citizens and his kingdom. The mayor fought but lost his son and only wanted to protect him. Now we fight our own emotion to win it. It game provides such an amazing view it’s almost teaching ourselves a life lesson. (BLOCK TALES FOREVER!)

I'm not an OG roblox player, but i can confirm it looks really cool, and matches with the 2010 vibe. And also, it's surprising that unknown had already planned all of chapter 3, As you can see in the thumbnail of "weird battle". And my favorite part about this game... Is the deep lore! Just look at chapter 3, you fight your own emotions! And the npcs in the dream world have VERY interesting dialogues, go check it out! For some reason after my victory with hatred and after this music started playing, I couldn't help but just stop, unlike before were I get the dialogues done with, this time I simply just allowed my mind and heart to hear the music, after a more than deserved struggle I was enamered by how powerfully hopefull this simple theme was. I am very emotional person my entire life, I can hear and feel not just in music but also in other people, I can see their pain as much as they try to hide it, I can see anger, spite, loss or just tiredness. And I feel it because they do, because I love the ones around me more than myself, because I wish for my family and friends to be happy, even when I myself am not. But here, after all of struggles, the lies, the greed, solitude and fear and the hatred that burns in both my and the players hearts in the moment of our victory againts the devil of our own, this music reminds us of what trully matter, having hope. Pushing forwards despite the struggles we are handed, to never back down for even a second, to deny our darkest parts to ever see the light, and to always fight, not because we can, but because we MUST. And for that I thank the creation of this music. Greed claimed my hands. Solitude my eyes. Fear my mind. Hatred my heart. No longer.

When i play blocktales i make sure to read all the dialogue and NPC's, i regret doing that for demo 3 i felt severely anxious beforey fight with hatred. The fact that with every line the meaning gets deeper is what scared me.

I love this chapter. Cruel king became an ally and is a good ally. We see some self reflection and insane gameplay. And we meet 3 characters again(Kyoko, wizard chef, banished knight)
Shedletsky would be proud of this game. It perfectly follows his vision of the originality and perfection that roblox would have. He's done his part, now it's time for the developers.

It's really cool of how the wizard chef has a story redemption of being a huge jerk into a cool and chill ally it really shows that kindness can go a long way even if people are mean when you first meet them it's never too late for second chances though in life I am so glad he got this second chance to redeem himself to help us in are adventure to save the world.
Its really fun playing the Demo 3 I can know something what i shouldn't know, so i pay some attention to npc in Dream World before Hatred. Because some of their word are give me motivation about my current problem
honestly gave me the vibe of undertale but 10x more badass. a lot of people will probably criticise me but i genuinely think that block can be better than undertale. when the game is finished i will be asking for more, even though i know it will never come...
I won't lie, this shit so magnificent I almost started crying. If there was some emotional (maybe related to the player's family) moment right fater killing hatred I would've actually broke down in tears. This game's a masterpiece (Gonna make a wall of text now lol) *You stare at the empty stone that held the Ghostwalker but you feel relieved in having put an end to your problems and coming out alive, altough this wasn't the result you hoped... was it?* You hear your phone vibrate *So, are you coming for our meditation session, it gets pretty lonely here. *You can now walk out... walk out of that manor as a changed for the better Robloxian* This stone now holds nothing except memories, memories of a past you hope to forget.
Very nostalgic (Even i get remember the end scene of demo 2 (before demo 3 release) that getting so sad and now were standing on the third place to get worthy of the ghostwalker)
this OST is a oscar its like a change of fighting of something bad too thinking about what you can do and what was the consequences its fells like you can change and do something better on my opinion its a motivation music also
I just realized that this is basically a remix of panacea, which makes me think this is supposed to be the triumphant version since despite literally killing your emotions, you pick yourself up again with a new sense of self. The same goes for the ghost chef, where he realizes he was wrong to misjudge you and after turning into a ghost he helps you along your journey, even possibly risking his second chance to get you the ghostwalker .. I love this game so damn much
The Dream World is probably my all-time favorite. It's just so deep. I read every text I could find, and it hits me right in the heart because I relate to every single one. Then... You finally beat Hatred after all the pain and suffering, alone (purely for my hatred of this thing enhanced my skills). Feels amazing.

There was a lot of redemption going on throughout the chapter Red and Blue, originally the first boss fight you face, are now actually allies with the player, even giving you their summoning card The chef wizard, a one-off character that got mad at the player for giving him the wrong sauce, now actually helps the player, giving you the ghost potion, and even helping them get the ghost walker (Before the player touches it and does an Omori) The cruel king's redemption arc goes deeper, with him giving you his summoning card after sparring with him in Zen. Can't wait till chapter 4

The Ghost Chef would be much more important later chapter, there is many Overpowered Items that can be cook, some item that heal 30 HP and SP and much more

This fits so well, beating Greed, Solitude, Fear, and mainly Hatred, which are probably illusions to help purify the soul, sounds like a awesome win, but a mix of Pacanea. This chapter was, quite interesting, i loved the bosses, i loved everything about it. Can't wait to see what Chapter 4 - Firebrand is like!

Fear was trying to warn you about hatred.
Honestly, this song opens my mind on a wider view about this game even though it is only 3 demos. It takes you on adventurous journey to discover, help and learn about characters. Every NPC is crafted so perfectly to the point it has a unique feel and style.
When I beat demo 3 it showed that the past 2 demos had something in mind. Cruel king only fought for his citizens and his kingdom. The mayor fought but lost his son and only wanted to protect him. Now we fight our own emotion to win it.
It game provides such an amazing view it’s almost teaching ourselves a life lesson.

So, i heard that this game's design is based on a older version of roblox.
I'm not an OG roblox player, but i can confirm it looks really cool, and matches with the 2010 vibe.
And also, it's surprising that unknown had already planned all of chapter 3,

And my favorite part about this game... Is the deep lore!
Just look at chapter 3, you fight your own emotions!

0:15 for some reason the composers really like adding this violin part (idk what instrument it is) in some sad songs, take panacea for example.
I mean it would make sense, since this is a direct motif from Panacea (but I get what you mean)
As bagofskellies says, this song uses alot of motifs from panacea, so it makes sense it will have the string instrument part

honestly, demo 3 is great. its trying to tell us about mental health problems or with our emotions tricking into bad stuff about yourself such as *you dont deserve to ride the swing*. Its crazy that we are just going through a halloween fight to grabbing the ghostwalker after that boom. inside out jumpscare. I kinda wanna know how did we end up from grabbing ghostwalker then getting teleported to a dream world (i think thats the name) to fight our emotions? is the ghostwalker trying to tell us something about these? I might be really stupid but what a great game!

Redemption: Empathizing with your friend about their life and helping them through it
For some reason after my victory with hatred and after this music started playing, I couldn't help but just stop, unlike before were I get the dialogues done with, this time I simply just allowed my mind and heart to hear the music, after a more than deserved struggle I was enamered by how powerfully hopefull this simple theme was.
I am very emotional person my entire life, I can hear and feel not just in music but also in other people, I can see their pain as much as they try to hide it, I can see anger, spite, loss or just tiredness. And I feel it because they do, because I love the ones around me more than myself, because I wish for my family and friends to be happy, even when I myself am not.
But here, after all of struggles, the lies, the greed, solitude and fear and the hatred that burns in both my and the players hearts in the moment of our victory againts the devil of our own, this music reminds us of what trully matter, having hope. Pushing forwards despite the struggles we are handed, to never back down for even a second, to deny our darkest parts to ever see the light, and to always fight, not because we can, but because we MUST.
And for that I thank the creation of this music.

When i play blocktales i make sure to read all the dialogue and NPC's, i regret doing that for demo 3 i felt severely anxious beforey fight with hatred. The fact that with every line the meaning gets deeper is what scared me.

I love this chapter. Cruel king became an ally and is a good ally. We see some self reflection and insane gameplay. And we meet 3 characters again(Kyoko, wizard chef, banished knight)

It's really cool of how the wizard chef has a story redemption of being a huge jerk into a cool and chill ally it really shows that kindness can go a long way even if people are mean when you first meet them it's never too late for second chances though in life I am so glad he got this second chance to redeem himself to help us in are adventure to save the world.

I can know something what i shouldn't know, so i pay some attention to npc in Dream World before Hatred. Because some of their word are give me motivation about my current problem
honestly gave me the vibe of undertale but 10x more badass. a lot of people will probably criticise me but i genuinely think that block can be better than undertale. when the game is finished i will be asking for more, even though i know it will never come...

I just realized that this is basically a remix of panacea, which makes me think this is supposed to be the triumphant version since despite literally killing your emotions, you pick yourself up again with a new sense of self. The same goes for the ghost chef, where he realizes he was wrong to misjudge you and after turning into a ghost he helps you along your journey, even possibly risking his second chance to get you the ghostwalker

The Dream World is probably my all-time favorite. It's just so deep. I read every text I could find, and it hits me right in the heart because I relate to every single one.
Then... You finally beat Hatred after all the pain and suffering, alone (purely for my hatred of this thing enhanced my skills). Feels amazing.
Fun fact: During The ghost chef backstory, we see a man above him. And that man was telamon
What if Telamon is kinda helping us in some way
so is telamon trapping people in his mansion as ghosts after they die? or what’s happening i don’t get it. the chef said something like: “a hand reached out to me” after terry killed him, so is telamon like a god or what?

I literally cried while listening to this for the first time
There was a lot of redemption going on throughout the chapter
Red and Blue, originally the first boss fight you face, are now actually allies with the player, even giving you their summoning card
The chef wizard, a one-off character that got mad at the player for giving him the wrong sauce, now actually helps the player, giving you the ghost potion, and even helping them get the ghost walker (Before the player touches it and does an Omori)
The cruel king's redemption arc goes deeper, with him giving you his summoning card after sparring with him in Zen.
Can't wait till chapter 4
