Well done your rice Fufu is very good. In England we called it ground rice . The first food I ate on my first day arriving in London England in 1984. Very yummy with any soup of your choice. Well done and thank you to you all for your positive, right direction hard work . Self reliance pays off in humans living life in Jesus Christ name amen 🙏❤️.
I am a black American. I was separated from my Nigerian roots because my ancestors were enslaved, and and robbed of their culture, names, religion, language, and I never adopted the heritage. I've just recently learned to love, and embrace my Nigerian heritage, and I want to start learning my culture snd history so that my offspring will adopt the heritage, first starting with making a swallow. 😂😂 No, I can not talk like you, nor have I visited the motherland, but I am Nigerian, and I am proud to be. 🤲🏾 thank you for this video, dear sister. 💪🏾 Long live Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
In Ghana, we cook the raw rice but with much water as compared to cooking normal plain rice and stir when it’s really soft, just like you stirred yours. Also adding cold water to rice balls takes away its starch. I’m glad I watched something new tho
In the North we call it Tuwon Shinkafa.. personally I don't blend the rice I cook the rice with excess water until it's very soft and then I used my spatula to stir it until it's firm and ready to eat..
In Northern Nigeria the rice for rice balls is different it is shorter and softer it is also a different method. It is often eaten with groundnut sauce, tomato sauce or other sauces. This is rice fufu and can also be made with rice flour. Thank you for this method too.
In Ghana we call it Omutuo but we don't blend it but trust me I love this it's very good for children under age who r now learning to eat heavy foods I love this
Hi firstly my SISTER you are very beautiful 👍🏿, I really enjoyed your recipe and very SIMPLE .. RICE FUFU WOW...definitely I will try it...Just came ACROSS to your channel and subscribed. Lots of LOVE Sis ❤❤ and God bless you and your family 🙏🙏. Watching from LONDON
Unimaginable but its actually real.. I admire that you are so creative with your cooking, you've got a new subscriber in me for this one.. thanks for the recipe.
You can make flat bread over a heat on-a dry frying pad it’s lovely also. Make bread before the rice gets too stiff it needs to be like pancake batter. East with butter jam honey or any savory meats. Delicious.
@@GranMaXoXoFly Add rice flour to boiling water in a pot on the cooker. Mix together quickly to avoid lumps until you form a smooth dough ball. Add a little hot/warm water to the pot, turn down the heat and simmer for 2-5 minutes (you can skip this step). Add more hot/warm water to loosen up the dough to your preferred consistency and mix rapidly to incorporate. Then serve.
@@solitaire10I usually ad fine or coarse semolina with the ground rice it’s so good, you can make like pancakes too before the mixture becomes stiff so delicious. So many ways of using these foods, i do love my fufu though with cassava or yams it’s my birth food. ❤
This is nice I'm going to try this tonight.... Pls can rice fufu be preserve till tomorrow morning or does it get spoiled easily before morning.... Thanks....
This is tuwo in northern nigeria.Might be better and easier done in the microwave actually..And lf you pour the blended rice into cup cakes and bake in the oven you'll get rice Akara as well...

Omotuo is rice ball. This one she bended the rice. So rice fufu sounds more correct
@@hibatuadam2777 fufu is an akan word that means pounded starch, if it is stirred on a pot it is not fufu
Wowoo! Thanks so much this is nice I Wil try it one day
Wao!
In the US, we have a similar dish using potatoes, called mashed potatoes. This looks good.
Matter of fact, as a Nigerian born and raised in America, I often make mashed potatoes thicker than usual so it resembles the texture of fufu ❤
Look very good ❤
Wow very cool thank you 💕💕💕💕
New friend here, that looks good 👍 ❤

I usually use rice flour but I'll definitely give this a go just to experiment with a different recipe to compare taste and texture.👍🏾
