✨ let me put a little note here since I recorded this video before the latest episode, seven came out! We do get to see this mysterious, cloaked figure, so maybe this is starting to hint at the villains!?! 👀 What do you all think?
Yeah , I think so . For what we could see it's a wolf . I think they could go in anthromorphic animals route where have the villains being animals walk in two legs similar to Wolfrun in smile Precure or any villains in past Precure that have antromorphic animals in there .
I think it’s going to slightly dip into the issue of animal abuse since Precure like with Heal doesn’t speak about serious issues that much so I’m guessing the villain animal had terrible experiences with humans like with scenes like the end of Okja and the black wolf lost his family to illegal hunters or something
I'm actually enjoying Wonderpre! Although there's not much fight scenes. I feel like writers gets to slowly develop Komugi and Iroha because of it. I also don't want the Garugarus get hurt since they're just animals in pain
I mean it kind of makes sense that there’s not much fighting here. The monsters are possessed animals. You don’t wanna watch the girls hurt regular animals that have been targeted by the villains. I feel like people forget this franchise is targeted towards kids and it might upset little kids to see animals getting hurt. Plus the last season was very action packed. Maybe they’re just trying something different.
You say that like previous seasons haven't had possessed animals. As early as episode 6 of Futari Wa, we had a Zakenna possessed animal (that they knew, and didn't want to hurt) as a monster, and Black and White got a cool special finisher to exorcise Zakenna out of living things. And we had possessed animals as recently as Tropical Rouge. I don't really think it's a great excuse in and of itself.
@@HyperSonicX I remember parents complaining about the fighting in Futari wa and Max Heart so it was toned down for the first part of SS so it’s possible that happened with this season and Sky.
mmh! I've seen the community talk about this! Personally I do somewhat agree with them... I loved Hirosky for the fight scenes (It was my first time watching a full season and I'm very biased towards it) I dont want to see animals getting hurt but I miss the badass fights
I understand that this season is about animal abuse and can see why there isn't much fighting here, but fighting is what precure is about. I wonder how they're gonna tackle generals or whoever the villain is gonna be in the movie. You could've had chase action and fighting scenes. Just having chase action gets boring.
For me, it's less about the fighting and more about the story and characters. I'm just not that engaged in the overall plot. I don't feel motivated to watch the next episode. I know that it's too early to say anything. I'm just gonna remain patient and try to remain hopeful. I'm happy that everyone else seems to be enjoying it! ☺️ But I'm not crazy on our leads so far. At this point what's keeping me from dropping it and, Lillian and Nyammy's debut and Satoru. really like mayu and I can't wait to see her arc play out. So far the best way to describe my feelings for Wonderful Pre is that clip of Lisa Simpson going "Eh".
I feel like they could use more "attacks" that block the animal from going somewhere it shouldn't, some kind of wind and/or magical force that moves the animal or that are aimed to what is hurting the animal (maybe chains/chains with balls/villain who is hurting the animal, or things like that)
i love the fight scenes, but i also feel that punching animals isn’t good for a show that’s supposed to influence people. i kind of wish that the monsters that they fight wouldn’t be an animal, maybe for eg. a puppy steps on a sharp object and is hurt and that sharp object is the monster but with the energy of the distressed animal. so the animal isn’t hurt but the monster is sort of controlled by the animal?
I dont like fights in generell ngl because i get really bored with long fight scene also i prefer what wonderful precure has done with actual curing the animals and not fight or beat them also i really enjoy the emotional scenes and drama as well es i overall prefer more slice of life driven and character driven shows in generell thats why i think for me wonderful precure is really got
We have also seen the 'cursed animal' trope in Mahou Tsukai Precure and Healin Good Precure, but there were physical fights in these seasons. Okay, it may be intended to raise awareness against animal abuse, but if it moves away from its own essence while trying to do all this, this season will no longer be a 'Precure' season, it will become something else. Kirakira Precure suffered from the same things at the time, and despite its solid character dynamics, it could not avoid being declared as the 'the worst season', simply because there was no physical fight. So, my point is, the Precure franchise is a franchise synonymous with physical fights. That's why not having these things is a very risky move, and it's normal that it won't please many viewers.
Honestly I was ready to drop the weekly episode watching after ep 4. Basically due to the lack of action. And as someone who really fell in love with this show for the characters, I will say this season has given me an epiphany. namely that I like the action far more than I use to believe. Since without it the season felt a bit empty. I mean even kirakira which some say had a similar problem still had action in the form of all the special attacks the girls could do. This season though wasn’t living up and I was about to drop it. Then I decided to wait and watch these last 3 episodes after taking a break. And last night I did.,and I love them! I think the best thing is that these chases are now a bit more fun with the added abilities the girls gained, helping to add more to them. And making them less of the same adding back some of that fighting flare while keeping to its main focus of wanting to help the animals. Even more so another problem I had was that of the lack of Villians which ep 7 did give some elements of. Having it helped to make it feel more like Precure again. Which plus Komugi and Iroha being very charming and Mayu and Satoru being great secondary characters so far, I think this season is promising. Different certainly but very much promising.
Like I’ve stated a lot in the community, it’s just stupid to go the no fight route. They’ve made monsterized animals multiple times before in the franchise and the girls were just fine fighting them with physical attacks. They’re monsters, it’s fine 💀
This is the exact same problem people had with kira kira now I think good characters and story is more important than fight scenes and I think kira kira had some of the best character based episodes especially when it came to aoi and yukari especially and so far wonderful precure has also impressed me with good characters komugi is definitely my favourite so far but I do also love yuki. I'm feeling quite positive about this season
I hope it doesn't underperform. I was worry that wonderful is gonna end up be called kirakira 2.0. This is the anime franchise that I grew up the most😢
Yeee although for me i feel kirakira precure has some great things i mean i like for example cure parfait and also her voice as well overall the design of kirakira precure is really interesting to me but i feel i prefer kira kira precure over delicous party precure
Remember when Kirakira also was broadcasting and everyone was mad when they deleted old good fisticuffs? Yeah history repeats (although a critism towards deleting physical fights is a little bit of stupid because Precure can also show themselves other than fights). Although my main problem in that show, is that their moral are a little bit of not working. You see, Garugaru are animals in pain, but, when we continue and progress some of them would literally attacked everyone, with Wonderful and Friendy not taking it seriously (making them not only look apathetic when it comes to animal attacking humans but also would made them unsympathetic if there would some other situations). Look I don't like when animals are getting beaten and I understand that every kid would be upset but if they would that while in pain every animal is brainwashed with their instincts are only remaining of them and Kirarin Animals while still brainwashed could talk and was acted like they were wise and could think, we would have a chance of Wonderful and Friendy realising their methods aren't working and thus they needed to use force (although just taming it without any beating), with it would serve a better moral that you can use force only when needed. Also while I understand why they doing this (main theme is relationship between animals and humans, and you can't beat animals that would come as abuse), I would really wanted every running scene be more interesting and not boring. This is the same critism I have toward Kirakira as their fights are boring with their magic having no other interesting usages, other than protect and spam attacks. This is my personal take but honestly in the end this controversy is just pure dumb, since it's literally shows how fans can be snobs when it comes to which season is good, just irrational hatedom but Pretty Cure has other aspects everyone loves it, it's not only fights they can show up. Also other magical girls also have physical fights as well so will fans stop screaming about there is no fighting?
i was really hoping for a group transformation.. and i got excited they talked about a group pose at the end of the 7th episode.. but i got really disappointed when i saw the actual tranformation.. it was actually so bad imo.. i hope cure lillian, nyammy, and the 6th ranger can get me a little more interested in this season..
For me the season is just fine., I don't mind the last of action and violence so to speak and I really like the heartwarming interactions between the characters they all seem lovely and I can see,Komugi becoming more human and mature as the season passes by. But my promplem is that they emphasise into a pets and its owner relationship instead of human friendship although obviously the human characters will be friends. I understand animals are important but not every kid will be able to afford to have a pet or grow near animals and not every person will be close with animals, a human 's best friend should always be a fellow human and I don't want little kids to think they are lacking because they don't interact with animals, also most kids who own pets actually don't do hard as much as Iroha dies fir komugi because again they are kids. So I wouldn't want the show to present unrealistic standards regarding our relationship with the animals
With a series ever year and sometimes multiple movies too I guess they’re moving away from fights and in my opinion good stories which children media deserve oh well they’ll still make bank and I enjoyed Huggto and Heartcatch
My theory is that they are using the nonviolence aspect as a metaphor about animal cruelty. I think that violence against animals will be brought up later in the series, and could possibly be the way that the villains turn the animals into monsters. All in all, I think that a nonviolent Pretty Cure series is an interesting change of pace, and I am anxious to see what this season has in store.
Nice topic for this Precure video It's too early in wonderful Precure run to judge , so I mostly waited as this year goes on . So far though , I would say they probably I liked the characters in this season and I do hope they would get good development . As for the fight scene , it's same thing , too early to judge . I mostly skipped it because there weren't interested FOR ME(I want to make it clear , this is just my opinion). However , last two episode does show there were be GaruGaru animals that too aggressive to talk down and the team would probably have to use some fisticuff or magic to tame them down . Not to mention , we finally got to see villain and I think they could go in anthromorphic animals(walk in two legs) if they do want some fight scene here . Finally , Wonderful Precure could go in Kirakira a la mode's route and that is use magic in fight scene and have good characters in that season .
Personally, I have not been watching this season. I don't think it's a bad show, it's just not my cup of tea. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that there is only chase action and the cures don't even use magic like in Kirakira. I understand the message that you should be nice to animals, but taming wild animals isn't really a good idea. I think they should have gone the Healin' Good route about it. There, the spirits were trapped *inside* the monsters, not the monsters themselves.
(I'm sorry if comment is too long, but i need to be honest.) I heard many comments on Twitter about lack of fights and dark moments. That's why i've started to do 'Kirarin comic series' even if i don't want to do it cause i already have responsible sequel to make about Cure Dragon debut.(Aznavour) Why did i started to make Kirarin comics in first place if i don't want to sometimes?(not only because my Hirogaru comics flopped greatly.) This is because those fans just think that dark moments and fights are equal to the masterpiece season. Like what? I definitely agree. Just because a Precure season doesn't have physical fights doesn't mean it's bad. Precure isn't just the fights, but the plot and story, and messages and designs. But people forget that. A Precure season could have next to no physical combat and be absolutely amazing and it could have physical combat and be utter garbage.
If I'm being honest the newer series are being tone down in the fighting aspect. Remember when Pretty cure black and white? yea that was old times. Pretty cure sky was actually enjoyable to me because it was different as in Sora was the MC and you have and older girl with a boy in the team. I just wish they shake things up more for newer series. Wonderful Precure is not bad, it just needs more spice imo.
I also seen this issue being discussed online and I definitely understand why some people are upset because proper fighting scenes to some are their favorite aspect of Precure and it has been a big staple in the franchise. I feel like this season is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s understandable. Personally, I love Wonderful Precure a lot, not as much as the previous #precure season but it’s still fun in my humble opinion. 🥲😌
I'm enjoying it so far... Hirogaru Sky had an amazing start with several impactful fights, but the series got worse over time, so it's still early to say whether Wonderfull Precure will be good or not... for now, I'm liking the characters, they are funny enough to carry the series, Satoru is a good support character, he is more prominent than Tsubasa and I like the mystery of whether he will transform into a Precure or not... and the duo Mayu and Yuki are at least interesting! For me, what's important are the characters, the story, and the villains! The fights are secondary... just like the finishing moves.
I’m not a super invested PreCure fan, but this whole “they’re getting rid of combat” panic is starting to get annoying. Y’all can wait one year for regular combat to come back. But no, it seems like a lot of these people want to watch their girls kick puppies or something. Edit: Sorry, not coming after you, just exhausted by this whole thing lol
I don't know why, but I really like Precure seasons without much physical fighting. Because of this, I don't have a problem with it. The animation and designs are gorgeous! And also, there are 7 episodes of Wonderful Precure, not 6.
the people dunking on this season are honestly tweaking i really love the approach they are taking with the pacifist encounters its a nice change of pace

For me, what's important are the characters, the story, and the villains! The fights are secondary... just like the finishing moves.
Wonderful PreCure is a wonderful change imo it's sweet as honey and the cuddles are cute.
I don’t care about controversy, but why does Komugi have to be a human just to be a cure because her human form has the wonderful pact?
