Okay, so I’m Indian and yes our food has a lot of spices and the cooking emits a lot of smoke which spreads all around making your clothes smell of curry. Make sure your wardrobe is closed so the smoke doesn’t get to your clothes. The clothes that you do walk around in your house, should not come in contact with the clothes that you intend to wear outside. Your clothes trap particles and it is very hard to get rid off after repeated exposure. So, make sure you ensure your clothes never come in contact in the first place. Buy yourself some Bukhoor (Arabian incense) and burn it around your clothes to get rid of the smell. Coupled with personal grooming like use of deodorants and cologne, you can be sure that you smell great.
