I always get nervous torquing the bolts . I feel like with my luck I will snap them . I can hear in your voice the nerves on end . Lol. I live in Connecticut too . Just bought all four for all the way around on my wife’s wk. I already know I’m going to have to cut that damn seized clevis bolt and I’m not looking forward to it . Thanks . What’s the difference of not taking off the rear tire too . Would it be more beneficial for space . I know I try to take short cuts and if I don’t have too I won’t . Not to mention the seized lug nuts too hahaha! Thanks

I wouldn't say I was nervous to snap them. They are pretty hefty bolts. It's hard to film and work at the same time plus being crouch trying to torque something down. But yeah it's always good to be cautious not to break a bolt. As far as taking off the wheel? It was so easy to do it with the wheel on that I would do it again with out taking the wheel off. Just maybe with an extension next time for the top bolt.
My front clevis bolts were seized too. But I did not have new bolts to put on and I needed the car asap. So I just un mounted the whole hub off the control arm and had someone step on the control arm to lower the cup that accepts the bottom of the strut. I do need to change my control arms soon so I will have to purchase new bolts eventually. Where did you buy your bolts from ?
