Thank you so much for doing another video on my game!! I’ve been working so hard on it and seeing you notice a ton of the changes and improvements put a huge smile on my face. (: I genuinely appreciate your positivity and understanding when it comes to the games shortcomings.😁I have a lot more cool stuff in store for the game, and I can’t wait to see what you think!! Also, thank you everyone for the kind comments. I love reading them all, it makes me so very happy.
Your game is a gem, I just hope you focus on tutorials and UI more so things are more clear to follow and learn how to do. The last time I played I really liked it but I felt the learning curve was too high because these aspects were lacking and I'm just a casual gamer
Your game looks pretty good, I'm interested but will wait for more content to be added before buying. There's one thing I'm curious about. Are all locations procedurally generated, or only the random encounters on the world map? What about loot? Do some locations have fixed treasure or is it all RNG?
I remember this dungeon from first demo version. This game is a treasure. The ragdoll stuff is so funny sometimes with the body parts flying all over. Hidden spells to find. Skyrim type skills, what's not to like? Tongue-in-cheek humor, just wonderful.
Bought this game when Splat did his last video on it, and while the game is nowhere near feature complete the foundation it has laid is phenomenal. Everyone we have so far was clearly designed from a fun first standpoint, so if the game keeps growing along this same path then it's going to become a genuinely amazing RPG.
My favorite thing in this game was pushing "C" (I think it was C) and everything goes slow mo - which is pretty epic when fighting a group of mobs and being way more tactical in a crazy fight
I've played this game, its super fun, there's a huge section of the town that you can build up with upgrade buildings. At this point as far as I am aware, you cannot build those buildings and make them actually DO things, I played for 12 or 15 hours until I got to the point where that started to be a thing, and had a blast. I'll be picking it back up for sure once the buildings are fully implemented.

I remember Splat mentioning The Bloodline on his deltaV video a couple days ago and was wondering if he would do another video on it. No need to wonder anymore.
This game came up on my steam discovery queue last week or so and I really wasn't too interested in it then- I thought it was another beat-em-up VR game. I don't have VR equipment so I ignored it right away. Your video has made me go back and add it to my wishlist instead. Great work!
Oh. Oh, wow! 👀The title says "Exceptional" and I'm inclined to agree. From the extent I've seen here, this game combines multiple elements I'd likely include in a hypothetical "ideal" "dream game". Definitely one to keep an eye on! I might purchase the EA during the current promo on Steam 🤔
Honestly, this game is really well made. After seeing this video, I bought it and played for 10 hours straight (and thoroughly ignored the story for those 10 hours). There is a TON of content in this already. Well worth picking up.
like was said in the video, there are definitely asset games that are labours of love that just maybe don't have an art budget or its a really really small team (like, one person even) and they can write code really well, but can't model or draw for the life of them. Its definitely hard to find them sometimes, you have to wade through all the shitty asset flip shovelware, but that's why there are people like splat doing what they do to make it easier to find the shiny good ones. As a side note, I've been following this game's development for a couple years on tiktok/youtube and had played the really early arena demo. I got a steam notification that it had released, but waited to purchase it until I had watched Splat's first video on the game back in november/decemberish.
i think this game in VR would be crazy good. also if it was like a 3-4 player coop. and for it being made by 1 guy hes really working hard. hope he can get his vision completed.
Ridiculously impressive for any indie dev, but even more insanely impressive for a single guy. This is nuts, and looks great, I'm downloading it now, can't wait to play.
So, bought it the day before yesterday after some humming and hahing, and spent seven hours so far. Mainly use spears in combat (copper spear right now, will move up to iron once I can find a smelter and anvil), with a small fireball, a slow-moving lightning orb, and a double-barelled pistol when I feel like mixing things up. Been fun.
ey i love the new format - i havent checked your content in some time because it always took so long to get to the meat and potatoes. really cool to see this evolution!
Given the low graphics intensity this seems like the perfect RPG for the Steam Deck. It's on my wishlist and can't wait to buy it when it's a little more fleshed out.
Played the game long ago, stopped playing because attack on titan gear thingy is so op you can kill mobs with it. It looks better now so might try later.
this game looks really fun, kind of rare to find a fun game, even though thats what there supposed to be, amazing. When you free dived off that edge, I almost thought you were going to pop out some side wings like a wingsuit and glide down.Nope! lol
Heh... ragdolling is a skill in this game... you can become better at it. I've been playing it since Splattercat first introduced us to it some time ago. I've played nearly every type of spellcaster (but haven't tried vampirism yet), and nearly every type of weapon. All of it is fun. Sometimes, gobsmacking hilarious fun. It occasionally has seasonal events (currently an Easter event going on), and lots of hidden bits to find by accident or by intention. I hope the developer keeps going... this game is already pretty amazing, but I suspect when he's finished with it, it'll be second to nothing else out there.
I think this game could be great, and it's already really fun, and people should try it. Also, it seems to have foundational issues that haven't been worked out yet which can be very annoying, at least to me. If the existing problems aren't addressed, I don't see a point to the developer adding more and more to the game because those problems are going to express themselves through each added system. Try it for yourselves though, maybe increased sales will help the developer to refine their product.
Thanks for the video. This game looks pretty neat. I shall surely check it out. 22:49 The Azure Lover. I am going to say it has something to do with the Asari (Mass Effect). It would definitely be the reference ***I*** would impute to it. :) Who doesn't like a bit of blue?
I bought it the first time you did a video on it, it was cool, and fun, but it was missing sooo much. Seems better now, might go back and try it again.
Haven't checked out the magic‽ IIRC, the original inspiration for the game was for elemental bending a la Avatar the Last Airbender. Of course, it's expanded a lot since then.
Thank you so much for doing another video on my game!! I’ve been working so hard on it and seeing you notice a ton of the changes and improvements put a huge smile on my face. (:

Thank you for including necromancy in your little gem of a game. Necromancy is my favorite type of magic so THANK YOU! Minions, Minions, Minions!
Impressive work and lovable game, you truly deserve the positivity!
Your game is a gem, I just hope you focus on tutorials and UI more so things are more clear to follow and learn how to do. The last time I played I really liked it but I felt the learning curve was too high because these aspects were lacking and I'm just a casual gamer

I love the ragdoll of this game!
I remember this dungeon from first demo version. This game is a treasure. The ragdoll stuff is so funny sometimes with the body parts flying all over. Hidden spells to find. Skyrim type skills, what's not to like? Tongue-in-cheek humor, just wonderful.
I agree. Ragdoll physics ftw. God bless. Jesus loves you!
What's not to like? It's shallow af. Unfinished and slow moving. Tries to do a lot of things but hasn't really mastered any of them.
I giggled like a lunatic when "Ragdolling increased to level 4" popped up after your fall.
Splatt lives up to his name
Yeah that was amazing, I can't believe Ragdolling is an actual skill that you can level up. 😆
20:11 for this hahaha
Bought this game when Splat did his last video on it, and while the game is nowhere near feature complete the foundation it has laid is phenomenal. Everyone we have so far was clearly designed from a fun first standpoint, so if the game keeps growing along this same path then it's going to become a genuinely amazing RPG.
That fall after the cave the goblins were watching you like "damn bro, I think he's hurt bad enough already".
My favorite thing in this game was pushing "C" (I think it was C) and everything goes slow mo - which is pretty epic when fighting a group of mobs and being way more tactical in a crazy fight

Some of the buildings work; but sadly like 80% of them have missing/'coming soon' features which makes them pointless for now. =\
Ragdoll leveled up 3 times from one fuckup
This game is a real treasure, the first time i fired it up i was locked in for hourssss. i come back from time to time, and theres always tons to do.

If this game has a multiplayer mode to it, it will literally be one of the biggest indie games!
picked this one up a long time ago.. have to go back into it as so much has been updated now!! great work by the devs.
Thank you so much!! (:

That jump fail was one of the funniest things I've seen! :D
necromancy hell yeah, hope the skellis are permanent and open ended in their numbers, i want to dragg an undead army behind me 0_0

What a cozy little gem of a game
I love the ragdoll fall damage
This game looks great, it won’t run on my laptop but these are the exact kind of games that made me want to start PC gaming in the first place!
i think this game in VR would be crazy good. also if it was like a 3-4 player coop. and for it being made by 1 guy hes really working hard. hope he can get his vision completed.
I've been on the fence with this one for a while. Next sale it's mine! Thanks for the playthrough
This game is amazing. Bought it after you first showed it off and it's only gotten much better since.
Ridiculously impressive for any indie dev, but even more insanely impressive for a single guy. This is nuts, and looks great, I'm downloading it now, can't wait to play.
To me, it’s highly probable that among the most immediate of things to add, is Grapple Goblins. Keep the fights with pressure.
Daaaam, I love the sound that the musket makes in that underground fortress area. big CLAYTON energy
i can’t wait for this to be co-op!!!!
I can't imagine how much effort it takes to find the gems in the sea of detritus.
"I peed my self, didnt I" lmao! I legit laughed out loud at that 😂
Honestly this looks like the game we've always wanted. Polished, Fun, tons of spells and weapons and loot. Cant wait to play

Dang this game has every gameplay mechanic there is. Impressive
looks promising. Thanks for the show.
This game is amazing they should add spartan kick and stab character on the ground.
I'd be down for these options, he'll ya
Thank you for your work Splat! Your showcases are so incredibly useful!! 💖
Tell the devs you just sold a copy of their game. I'm installing it now.
Thanks Splat for what you do on this channel.
ragdolling increased to level 4.. amazing:)
Looks amazing, thanks for putting this on my radar!
Fr
8:41 I am child for giggling at this
ey i love the new format - i havent checked your content in some time because it always took so long to get to the meat and potatoes. really cool to see this evolution!
hope this game gets lots of support
That actually looks pretty awesome. Thanks for the review! :)
Man this game looks more and more fun. Your somewhat brutal fall cracked me up. Definitely wishlisted.
Downloaded this game when it first came out and I had so much fun! Will be back on this weekend to checkout the new updates
I can't wait for this one to come out of EA, looks really interesting
I already bought that game thanks to your last video about it, I loved it, thanks a lot for your work !
I'll acknowledge this game if I can play as a tribal chief.
Man, that one goblin has better hair than I do
I’m interested but need to see more
Nice game might try later
The level up timing on all the gun kills. No notes. ^+^
what a fantastic game!
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought the orc or whatever he is was wearing a dapper hat.
WOAH man, so many features in a single game! It does genuinely look like it's a lot of fun! Thank you for making a video about this.
"We'll get to the bottom of it" he says while ascending
Heck yeah! It's right on my wishlist, can't afford it yet but once I can, I'm definitely buying it!
Nice video. This game looks cool.
Great game. Really hope development continues to progress.
I need this in my life!
Did I miss it or you didn't show us the most important part (for me), namely equipment you are wearing?
super excited for this game, it already looks awesome. I bought it but haven't played it yet.
the latest update has really improved the game it was strange he did not show that you can teleport on the open world map
Its nice to see i beat Scatter to an indie game decades before he even knew about it
decades lol
@@McMTG gamer time is different than human time. Like how dogs have 7 years per 1 human year.
Millennia
This game looks rad as heck!
Looks fun so far, gonna wishlist it and let it develop for a couple years!
The game is fucking insane , it will be epic once finished , the combat alone makes me spend a lot of time haha
That ragdoll was just epic, so good.
His health almost never dropped below 80%. I hope you can adjust the difficulty
he's overleveled for the area he's in. Its also a bit of a power fantasy style game, but there are more difficult enemies.
Am defo getting this one right up my tree
Such a good game. Bought it when it first came out, and I stopped playing to wait for it to be updated. I'm gonna play again.
This game looks pretty fun
You need to do step of esros to get past the cave gate
this game looks really fun, kind of rare to find a fun game, even though thats what there supposed to be, amazing. When you free dived off that edge, I almost thought you were going to pop out some side wings like a wingsuit and glide down.Nope! lol
I almost die laughing when i saw the fall. Lol
I wonder if this can be multiplayer co-op?
Plus I love how they have black powder guns which is uncommon in most fantasy games
Whipping out the ol' Muh Sket, what a classic.
Excellent video! Tempted to play this game now

DRG mentioned, bought Bloodlines, will play soon-ish...along with GW2 lol.

Who doesn't like a bit of blue?
I'll be waiting forever for this game
Have this game currently, just waiting for an update to add controller support so I can play it on my steam deck
I'm testing it right now with The Dock. You also shouldn't need controller support if you can rig it right but anyway.
Thanks Splatty. Nice game.
Reminds me of gedonia
Hello, I'm interessed in this game but I got one question: is there a third person view ?
Thank you for all your videos and your time
the two forging hammers chest is a borderlands chest if ive ever seen one
immediately bought this after watching, thank you!
20:16 You're welcome.
I bought it the first time you did a video on it, it was cool, and fun, but it was missing sooo much. Seems better now, might go back and try it again.
6:06 "there's lots of gathering professions, everything from foraging to picking up mushrooms." Is picking up mushrooms not foraging?
Sweep the Leg, Johnny
Haven't checked out the magic‽ IIRC, the original inspiration for the game was for elemental bending a la Avatar the Last Airbender. Of course, it's expanded a lot since then.
For Vermintide and Darktide, their combat systems are much better utilized when the individual enemy is worth a damn and isn't just 1HP chaff.
Enjoyed a bit of this in early access already and looking forward to 1.0
love the OSRS aesthetic!
