Watched this so many times and I never realised she was supposed to be playing as much. The director makes it seem he's playing everything but she's only playing the single notes (the blue note as he just described it). This makes the scene so much more. The most gorgeous scene from the most gorgeous film of all time.

By far, the star of Betty Blue was Gabriel's music.

An absolutely lovely and simple piece. Very much inspired by Chopin's Berceuse op. 57. Yared is a genuis.
