A martial oriented sosiel build for WotR would be greatly appreciated! Feedback: I would include a summary at the end to explain the end results. These games have a lot of moving parts and a reminder at the end of how many attacks/dpr/things the build does well would push your videos to the next level
@the_metamancer great suggestion, you're definitely right! I'm currently working on a Daeran build as a Skald & after that someone requested a build on Patreon. after that though I'm glad to start working on that Sosiel build, as I want to have one for each companion.
A really good first video for bg3. Liked how you went through the obtainable order for items and explaining why you recommended what you did. Possible improvements would be suggesting alternative choices in terms of feats or even levels taken in specific classes. For me, a build guide doesn't need to be super condensed so maybe slowing things down a bit would be a bit better. For a build request I'd be interested to see if you could do anything with four elements monk trying to play around fangs of the fire snake as much as possible.
appreciate it & those are great suggestions! I will try to implement all of them in my future videos. next new run I do I can see if I can make a Four Elements Monk. trying out a new MMO called Throne & Liberty that came out today in my free time, so might be a few days. thanks for watching!
I love a good Drizzt build! There are some mods that can give you a Guenhwyvar summon too, if you want to get really thematic. Another cool Act 3 weapon that would work for this build is Rhapsody. It's only a dagger but for most of the day it will give you +3 to attack rolls, damage and spell save DC. Ambusher and Crimson Mischief (main hand) would also be good options. Harper's Amulet would be an easy way to offset the disadvantage on WIS saves you get from risky ring, as well as giving you a cast of Shield each day, and Helldusk Boots are a straight upgrade over Disintegrating Nightwalkers. I'd probably prefer getting rogue levels before fighter levels in this build (maybe even taking a single rogue level first for skill access), just because that extra off-hand attack plus sneak attack will probably get you more damage throughout the day than the fighter levels will. Also, acrobatics will be a more useful skill than athletics because your STR is so low. Unfortunately Drow racial spells are locked to using CHA, so with only 10 CHA enemies will save against fairy fire a lot. It's probably not worth your concentration over things like hunter's mark and spike growth!
@ProbeAway appreciate it! I need to check out some mods, just haven't had a ton of free time lately. these are some good suggestions & I will remember them for future videos, I'm not quite as experienced in BG3 as in Pathfinder. you're probably right about the Rogue levels, I mainly took the Fighter levels first to get the Feat faster but not sure if it was worth it. I definitely missed a couple pieces of gear or somehow misplaced them, but those are some good options. admittedly Faerie Fire was probably my least used, but I figured in early game it could have some niche situations. thanks for watching & all the good feedback!
@@actuallyviz no worries, I'm yet to get to WotR but I will check out your other videos when I do! You can take 4 levels of Rogue instead of Fighter for the second feat, there's no difference between level 4 in each of those classes (except fighter gives you 1 more HP)
Nice video, I had a different variation I just did, on tactician. And I am redoing it again on Honor mode right now but with Durger Dwarf, instead of Wood Elf. I will eventually use 2 Dolarus Daggers/Hand bow/Bhaal Armor. I tried Vicous bow but that didn't work as good, as hand bows. Mine is going 5 gloom/4 champ fighter/3 Ass Rogue/ with respec at L12. To get rogue second and on 3 levels not 4. Less crits 35%ish, more harder hits on those crits
@randycaputo3949 appreciate it! that sounds awesome, I've yet to try a Duergar Dwarf but when I do I definitely will try out the build you're going! does Honour mode nerf anything about Dual Wield builds? thanks for watching!
@@actuallyviz No on nerf for just duel wield. I am going to try, and duel wield 2 Deva Maces. Just for kicks and see how that goes but eventually I'll be on Dolarus. Honor nerfes melee haste effects so not as many swings/shots. It's really the no reload at all/ and or your dead if you screw up part that is harder. Some bosses have more effects of course as well. I am getting ready to fight that robot in grymforge at L7, not L6 tonight/tomarrow............... Well see! I am going to try 3 monks and 1 sorcerer like I did on Tactician mode I don't know if it will work as good. I hope if it all falls apart Duerger can invis/misty step out. Time will tell.
@@randycaputo3949 I definitely need to do an Honor run, I really enjoy ironman like challenges in strategy games just haven't gotten around to it! it seems like if you have a good plan/route you could definitely do it without too much trouble... let me know how it goes!
if you re willing to skip Action surge and one point of critm you can get rogue 7/ranger 5 for more sneak attack damage and the extra skills and evasion/ uncanny dodge and the cunning actions to make more use of the thief 2nd bonus as an option. Works well with both hunter & gloom stalker
great suggestion, I may have cooked a little too hard multiclassing. I'll have to try that when I'm next on, as well as 5 Ranger / 4 Rogue / 3 Fighter as another viewer suggested. thanks for watching!
This is a cool build. The only thing it might be nice to add is a short combat explanation going over strategy and how certain interactions work while showing the numbers in the combat log. Good work!
@Chris_the_Nerd thanks for the support! I'm going to try to get 1 Pathfinder & 1 BG3 video a week when possible, if not I'll alternate between the two!
While I prefer your WotR videos, this one is also interesting The item progression is a welcome addition 😊 . Maybe also mention what kind of party would follow the presented build, so items also dont overlap 😂 Maybe a short "how to sinergyze" section. For BG3 a good party face build would be nice (like bard). For WoTR, a mad dog demon 😈
appreciate it! just wanted to test a BG3 build to see if there's an audience for me. if so I plan on uploading 2 videos a week if possible, 1 Pathfinder & 1 BG3. again thanks for the good suggestions, I'll definitely implement them in my future builds!
it might be I'd have to look into it, most of the Dual Wield builds out there focus on the Fighter route so didn't want to copy those & came up with something a little more unique. this build is pretty min-maxed but not fully, thanks for watching!
Wait I'm hella confused, you said you went ranger because most builds are fighter??? Is ranger "better" or is it just not fighter??? I want strongest build not most unique, please let me know which is actually better? NVM this is a artistic build long as it's not fighter build.
@dustinmondou212 Fighter is a little bit stronger if you take 5 levels into it instead of Ranger but not by much, you just gain some extra HP which doesn't really matter. you will have no problem clearing Tactician, was just trying to give options, both gameplay & flavor wise. it's definitely not an "artistic" build but sorry if you didn't like the build or think its bad, either way thanks for watching!
@@actuallyviz I didn't dislike it, but when you used the headline POWERFUL dual ect I assume your giving me best build, was completely thrown by Fighter vs Ranger comment.
@@dustinmondou212 my bad must've been a miscommunication, their really isn't that much of a difference just a little bonus HP which is pretty negligible.
