But, ofc, they deserve all these exciting foods, adventures and opportunities they can get on this world trip. I must’ve put my comment out of context at first.

We use a confusing mixture of metric and imperial measurements - e.g. for long distances we use miles but for short distances we use metres
We don't have chipmunks here so it was probably a squirrel. The flying bird was a heron 😊
I love blackberries too - you should make blackberry and apple crumble! When they're ripe they should come off the plant really easily.
If you get stung by a stinging nettle you need to find a dock leaf - they often grow nearby. scrunch them up and rub them on the stung place.
So glad Tescos had lots of gluten free food for Caleb 😊The best biscuits are Chocolate Hobnobs!

Welcome to England. I’ve lived in England for my whole life and didn’t know you could cook potato waffles in the toaster! I always put them in the oven. That chipmunk you saw was actually a squirrel 😅 Have fun in London

Welcome! I’m hoping you come and visit the Cotswolds but gathering from the weather and Blackberries in this vlog this was filmed a while ago!
-We use meters not feet
- We don’t have chipmunks, those are squirrels (it would be interesting to teach the kids about invasive species with the red squirrel)
- we have stinging nettles here (find a doc leaf and rub it on the sting, natural relief and always found near stingers)
- Pasties (pah-stees) are Cornish in origin and come from the mines, the miners would hold the edge and eat the middle and then throw away the crust as it had gotten coal etc on from their hands :)

We have two kinds in UK, red are original ones but grey squirrels came and took over. My son loves picking blackberries too
I'm from New Zealand not England but all the foods and different names are the exact same here in NZ. Sausage rolls can probably be eaten for breakfast but I've always had them for lunch or dinner and when I think of sausage rolls, I think of like a party food in small pieces with tomato sauce to dip it in or an alternative to a meat pie when we would have pies for lunch. :))
I love England! You should definitely take a journey to Wells, Somerset. It’s the smallest city in England with the most beautiful scenery and GORGEOUS cathedral! ❤

I spend summers in London and it is my favorite time! If you need any fun excursions for your family I would recommend Hampton Court Palace. I'm sure you will see tons of castles and historic places but this is my all time favorite one. It is where Henry the 8th lived and it has a very informative tour (with a shorter more fun version for kids). The palace itself is beautiful and has cool reanactments and interesting things to see. There is also a cafeteria with good food, huge gardens and a childrens playground. It seems right up your family's alley. It is about a 40 minute train ride from central London and you could easily spend the whole day there. I hope you all have the best time in London!
Hi guys! Hoping you are having a great trip. I just wanted to tell you something that you might have not thought about (my family was diagnosed with celiac desease many years ago and didn’t realize this at first), but in the video you mentioned about eating some gluten free waffles and putting them in the toaster. If the toaster is used with regular bread, you would be having crossed contamination on the gluten free waffle because lots of bread crums stay on the toaster. Maybe you prepared caleb’s one somewhere else and didin’t clarify on the video, but I just wanted to tell you in case you didin’t know and for you to stay safe 🫶🏻
caleb has his own room so they could put his own toaster there.
I adore England sooo much!! My mum is British. Been 3 times. It’s literally my fav place. Go to the Cotswolds!!!!!! It’s is gorgeous there. Go to Avebury. They have a Neolithic stone henge

I live on the Isle of Wight (off the coast from Southampton/Portsmouth. Sliced bread is Thin, Medium or Thick - depending on the thickness of each slice. Pasties are 'paasties' and not a breakfast food. Neither are sausage rolls. That made me smile. They're lunch/picnic/tea foods. Tea as in for teatime, what you call, I think, supper. Here, supper is a snack before bed. x
You need to go to Scotland if you haven't already since you like nature. I have only been to Edinburgh zoo but have heard lots and seen lots of videos about Scotland so I think it is the best place for you because it seems/is so magical.

Sounds like Janae has been stung by nettles. There is a plant called a ‘Dot’ leaf which you can rub on a nettle stink to help ease the pain. The bird feeders have a metal cage around them to stop the grey squirrels from stealing all the food and you are correct Laura it is dirty water in the birds water bowl 👍🏻 Mark in ENGLAND 🏴
It was probably stinging nettles that Janae got into, look out for a dock leaf near by to rub on it if it happens again! Blackberry pie is a classic at this time of year, try it with clotted cream! (I am from Cornwall, clotted cream is fantastic try it with jam on scones but remember, always jam first). I really hope you make it down to West Cornwall (beautiful train journey from Paddington Station to Penzance) it really shows some of the beauty this country has including St Michael’s Mount, incredible cliffs and moors. Enjoy your visit!

I find it interesting to see all these foods you pointed out as new. As a canadian, I see these foods all the time. I didn't realize that the USA was different in this way.

I love the new home you get to use for a month. It's so big compared to what you've seemed to stay in before. The washer and dryer will be so nice after the laundromat problems! Yes, they speak English in London but the words are different sometimes as the kids have discovered with 'biscuits'! A brolly, a telly, a loo, are all words the kids might hear. I'm glad we don't have to pay for what I call a buggy at grocery stores.
If you’re staying a month, get yourself a Tesco clubcard, otherwise prices are expensive. With the clubcard they are at “normal” prices imho. Edit: sorry spoke too soon, well done Jeremy I continued with the video and saw you got one 👏

Yay! I was totally right about you coming to England in the UK. Even though I’m from Scotland (which is part of the UK) I hope you have fun here. The snacks and food in the UK are so yummy. You guys should totally try Jaffa Cakes. People in the UK have arguments about weather a Jaffa Cake is a cake or a biscuit (cookie.) They have a soft cake like bottom with orange jam and chocolate on top, but they are sold in the biscuit isle. I hope you one day come to Scotland. Thank you for making such wonderful videos.😁

Im been since February last year (from texas ) and so glad y’all are visting this beautiful country
I definitely love this place, I love u can walk around at anytime of the night and feel safe, I love that there’s no dangerous animals (cow kills the most people in England 😂) it does rain a lot and get dark at 3pm during winter and late fall! But still so beautiful, I admire this country so much.
I love that people home cook their meals here, the average person don’t eat out a lot.
One of my favorite out to eat places is , kebab shops, fish and chip shops, Indian food is top tier here definitely give that a try , Gregg’s, jangles
There’s not a lot to go out and eat unless your in London (I’m in Kent right now so more on the country side ) but there’s definitely really good food to make (cottage pie, stews, roast dinner, English breakfast,spaghetti bolognese)

Try cooking potato waffles in the oven ! I grew up with foods like that . Some things you should try while you are here is, a Sunday roast (if you go to a pub most will do one) , fish fingers , smiley faces (they are like potato waffles but smiley faces) , and fish and chips . I saw that you found blackberries, if you pick enough you can make a crumble out of it just search up a recipe on bbc good food . So glad to see you are finally in England . Ps janae probably brushed passed a stinging nettle ,ouch

Hi from Australia, Great to see you having an amazing time with your family. The Pasties are pronounced (past eez) and the cottage pie is made from minced beef and a shepards pie is made from minced lamb. Hope you don't mind me sharing that with you, no judgement just thought I'd let you know.
Yes ! I love both pies , they should try a authentic lasagna or some kind of pasta since in England and I think across Europe they have a thing called “white sauce “ (blechemel) when I came to England I was surprise how much they sell it in stores

Welcome to England, hope you have fun here. We're over in Worcestershire which isn't far from Wales really which has some beautiful beaches and places to explore, definitely worth a visit. Infact there are so many places in the UK that are worth visiting, though I prefer to stay out of the cities.

If you are still here because I’m not sure what the time of filming is and whether you have already left but I would really recommend coming to Milton Keynes. It’s a city about an hour drive from London but if you hope on the train it’s about half an hour. It’s a great place with lots of activities for kids and parents and it has some great history such as Bletchley park which is a great place to head to for bits about WW2. I really enjoy watching your channel and it would be amazing if you did make the decision to come to MK. Keep up your amazing content. ❤️
