Mistakes! Everybody makes them, it can’t be helped, I booked a hotel in London that I’d been to before but i couldn’t find it and walked for a few mile the wrong way I, wasn’t feeling to good and I want back to my starting place and I found it, I went to bed really early but was still not good the next day but getting lost made me feel 10 times worse, I was going to go home but stayed and now all forgotten and I’m glad I stayed as what I was taking part in May never happen again.
I live in France really near to Paris !! Maybe I will see you guys ??
You are a wonderful mother Kendra. Like you said, you’re human! No one in this world hasn’t made a mistake and negative things often happen when we’re feeling overwhelmed, it’s so common. But look how you resolved the situation, you explained it to the kiddo and apologised, that’s all you can do!
As humans we have the right to make mistakes, but the responsibility is to learn from those mistakes so we can grow.
You’re raising some brilliant, beautiful, kind, ambitious, and insanely intelligent kids. NEVER forget you’re a wonderful mom, small blips does not define your worth as a mother or as a human🩷
And Jeremy, again, small mistakes do not define your worth. You missed the train? Okay! That’s an issue that can be resolved! Sometimes the mistakes we make don’t have a reason or a lesson, they can just happen. You’re doing a brilliant job though never forget that! 💛

A stressful experience but… Kendra, you managed to get yourself and all 5 kids safely to the Airbnb! In a new country! You did it! Knowing you managed this will be so helpful for the rest of your journey. The kids have seen you manage and they have learned more about independence and coping strategies. Well done 👍 💕
Jeremy arriving just one hour later was actually fantastic, considering you were travelling between two countries and into Paris. It could have been a week later in some remote area of the world!

One thing I’ve seen about Americans in European countries, is they say the shops close a lot earlier than in the US, and yea lots of things are closed on Sundays! The washing machine is in the kitchen, and there will be so much more for you to see!

How did you get into France without passports. Trust me, you’ll laugh about this later.
Both Germany and France are part of the European Union.
It’s part of the Schengen area of Europe that has free movement between countries, however the time inside this area is limited depending on where you are from. If you are from an EU country it’s unlimited but for Americans or English(since Brexit) for example there are more limitations.
