@@aoifecampbell6715 yeah as much as I really really don't want traitor!techno (especially with how much he's said recently that he wants to play a good guy), there's not actually gonna be any conflict if no one actually sides with Schlatt. Like Techno said, a 30 v 1 isn't much of a epic rebellion. Ill fully understand if Techno switches sides BUT ITLL STILL HURT
I didn't understand why Dream was there until I realised that the "Here's a little snippet od advice" implied that Schlatt would be using the same tactic Dream used (i.e. have one of their teammates betray them). So it's absolutely traitor!Techno judging from how the last line goes. I love this.

@@coasel1919 maybe,, but now that the recent streams showed that it’s most likely that the reason why Dream helped Pogtopia in the first place is for the destruction of both parties (both Manburg and Pogtopia) so that the SMP can still have the most power. The reason why Dream endorsed Schlatt is probably because he wanted L’manburg to dissolve into chaos but once Schlatt tore down the walls and started expanding into SMP territory, he decided he didn’t like that and sided with Pogtopia to bring down Schlatt.
“Schlatt is no Wilbur” is simply “Wilbur isn’t as ambitious as Schlatt and is content with keeping the land they already have so he is preferable”. Now that the Villian Wilbur Arc has started it clearer what Dream’s intentions are. He did say to Tommy that he was on his side because he liked the destruction. Once Wilbur blows up Manburg, it would be no more and it’ll be harder for L’manburg to get back to its feet, making the SMP vastly superior.
IF the Techno betrayal happens (though from the way things are happening it just might, Tommy vs the world POG) it would make it so Tommy is the only sane leading factor of Pogtopia.This animatic shows that Schlatt is just following the same strat Dream enacted in the first war. So it could be that Dream told him and he’s egging both sides on or that he just learned what tactics the green man used in the first war. Either way Dream wins unless Tommy comes up with a new plan fast. BUT that’s just a theory, an MCYT theory.

Behold Nonsense I wouldn’t really call him the underdog here. Definitely the protagonist here but more of a “heavy is the head that wears the crown” or sword of Damocles vibe then an underdog story. That could just be the song idk
Bargins Galore well he kinda is an underdog because everyone wants to secretly help Wilbur and Tommy. Even techno talked about it that everyone is so nice except schlatt and it’s boring so he might end up as a new villain

Did anyone else get a different read then techno being a spy? All the comments are saying that but I don’t think it makes sense in context. If we look at the original song and the expression it alludes too it isn’t about setting a trap it’s about someone setting the trap for themselves. In hadestown this refers to not letting Orpheus look behind for Eurydice and letting his doubt and distrust of hades fester in his heart until he looks behind letting Hades win. In the context of the dreamsmp techno being the rope implies that he will be the petard on which Wilbur and Tommy will hoist themselves. I am guessing this would happen when Wilbur and tommy become too hierarchical for the anarchist technoblade

The idea that Techno is a spy (Or whatever similar thing it is) is amazing. I honestly thought Techno was gonna join Schlatt at first.

I’m TERRIFIED of traitor Technoblade. At first I was sure he was gonna turn, because he said himself that almost everyone was siding with Schlatt and that he was used to playing the bad guy, and wanted shit to stab for views. But now that both sides are pretty much evenly matched I’m really not sure which way he’ll go anymore. He’s unpredictable and VERY skilled, plus has tons of knowledge about Pogtopia that could be very useful to Schlatt.
The scary thought is that even with Dream on their side I’m not 100% sure Pogtopia could win if Techno decided to betray, and he’s the embodiment of true neutral. Chills

Probably not. Schlatts is evenly matched now. On one side you have Schlatt, Ponk, Quackity, and Goggy (GeorgenotFound), On the other, you have Technoblade, Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy, Dream, Eret and Niki. And you have 2 other factions. Sapnap and Karl are on one. Skeppy and BBH are on the other.
@@reese10x01 Technically no. Other factions have been formed. Sapnap and Karl are going to try and take over when both sides are weak. Skeppy and BBH are going to do the same thing. You are correct though, Pogtopia severely outnumbers every other faction in the server.

Oh, this has aged wonderfully after the events of the festival.
The noise I made when I saw this pop up on my feed my GOD
11/10 absolutely impeccable
Yooooo..... That ending tho. Implying techno is what's gonna kill them, daaaang.
I think this song fits really well with the current events of the smp without technoblade becoming a traitor. The whole line with “men are fools men are frail give them their hope and they hang themselves” is reflected really well Tommy is young and is given hope from technoblade he believes that he is the good guy so he is destined to win he is foolish and technoblade only helps his foolishness. Meanwhile Wilbur doesn’t trust technoblade and the “hope” that is being given to Tommy is slowly eating away at Wilbur until he goes full on crazy thinking there is no one he can trust Wilbur is frail and it’s because of technoblade. Without technoblade being a traitor Tommy and Wilbur had essentially hung themselves and lost it seems like Tommy is bouncing back from this though while Wilbur is falling further into deception and just as a closer guys remember this is all just role play and not actually real I just thought this song really highlighted some strong points of the story.

I wanna say that techno at the festival didn’t betray Pogtopia it seems like a lot of people think that but no techno was doing a reconnaissance mission and didn’t understand the strength of his new weapon it took until he realized he could kill everyone for him to break cover and that was after killing Tubbo, tubbo even brings this up when explaining why he forgives techno I stand by my previous comment of why techno is bad for pogtopia and I still do not see him as an actual bad guy or spy

Anyway, this is super good! I loved the use of colour and the way you drew each character
This kinda aged in a strange way. It talks about if Jschlatt eliminated Wilbur and Tommy, he'll be seen as some evil Sith lord, but if he let the two run rampant and free, he'll be seen as an irresponsible leader.
Now, it sorta flipped. Wilbur this time claimed that if they defeated Schlatt, they still lose, and even if they get caught, they lose either way. Not sure if its just me that feels this way but really, think about it.
I think it works both ways honestly if either of them make the move of permanently eliminating one another they’ll be the villain in the eyes of the people
