And RUST is running amazingly on Windows PC. All you need to do, is add extra parameters to Rust properties in Steam. 1. Go to your Steam Library. 2. Right click on Rust and go to properties. 3. Under the tab, "General" click "Set Launch Options". 4. Put this in the launch options, "-window-mode exclusive". Make sure you copy the whole thing from the - to the e don't copy the quotation marks. If your Rust is open while doing this close it and relaunch it. Enjoy fullscreen.
thank you so much! but can u set "professional" settings (you can find it on youtube asking for example: Posty settings). Usually people play on settings like this and it will help to show the whole performance properly
My 16 inch Mac m2 pro runs this good and I’ve gone to large oil and defended online raids with 16 gigs of ram. I have stutters sometimes but I won’t complain because I can always play on my main Pc.
I think you need to change some more settings in Experimental part too like motion blur etc, and the other thing is to buff the memory too, I play Rust om my M1Max and its not perfect but it's better than your experiment tbh, I think you need to try it again I'm sure m4 is so much better than m1 max! also remember to turn off the game mode bcs that will decrease CPU power and buff the GPU and Rust is a 0 GPU game. I have almost 50fps and I need to reboot the game in less than hour each time that will clean the cash and make it less drop frames
@@jasonjenkinson2049 oo so little wow, sadly here it uses 16gigs lmao. still in future it will be very playable and it's a fun game so that's great, i'm happy for mac support. maybe m5 m6 with 24/32gb will run it nice
Its not a memory, i build a Hackintosh, 32 GB DDR5, i5-12400 and RX6600 GPU, RUST is terrible, freezes and lags all the time. Same game, same PC, same map in game, Win11 easy give me 100 FPS

Thanks, I haven't played it in ages, maybe I'll try again on my pc. No time for now sadly.

Thanks, I found the video and will see if there's a notable difference, if so i'll make a video

Ye for now it’s prolly best played on a pc or m pro series chip

The M1 Max is 2.5x more powerful than a M4 gpu wise. M4 Pro is more akin or better than the M1 Max. I will retry the game again with the M5 / M6.
Rust uses at least 16gigs of memory, horribly inefficient but a fun game still.
Yeah, Rust runs on unity, and it has to load all assets into your ram. Although on windows it usually uses around 7-10gb of ram

Not sure what you mean, but ye it runs better on my pc as well.
