- Apart from a few short trips up and down the lane, this was the first time I took this machine any distance under it's own power. The engine feels good, but there was a harshness in the gearbox - especially in third, and it appeared to try and jump out of third gear a couple of times too, so that might be worth taking a look at.
Sound's okay to me and seems to be running fine. Still think it would make a good daly ride,my best wishes to you from the Philippines love following you on RUclips ❤️💪👍😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴
Thanks 👍
Thanks Paul.
G'day Paul, the 500 need a new speedometer as l was watching the speed and it never got past 25 mph, few tweets and that will nodought be a winner, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Pulls well, but the gearing is rather low. Could be a similar depth of engagement fun & games as the Norton. Same lack of adjustment and parts as well although not in the rocking horse droppings category either,
Is it my eyesight or have those handlebars been "straightened" just one too many times?
I am definitely not OCD, but I have to keep my bikes basically clean, wiped over with wd40, probably from years of trials riding
Where has that crazy mad aggressive dog gone Paul I don’t suppose it’s had an ‘accident’ has it 😊.
The annoying labrador type dog can be seen near the end of this video, alive and well. As for the sheepdog on Bantam hill, I regarded him as a friend but he is sadly no more, I found out recently:

@@paulhenshaw4514 I usually watch your videos right to the very end, but had to leave a little earlier this time - so I obviously missed seeing the infamous annoying dog!
How’s Ratty?
Doing fine. For now ...
What’s happening on the right handlebar? There only seems to be one cable.
There is throttle and brake, plus lights on/off switch there.
