The 160th ain't no joke. Those guys are hardcore. I got an invite to try out for a support position in 2012, but I assessed that I was too old and too injured to be involved in spec ops.

My grandfather joined the Navy when he was 16, lied about his age, apparently. He retired at the age of 85, passed as the age of 90. I miss him very very much. * Retired from working, not the Navy, as a hydraulics/electrical engineer, for Raytheon.
My grandfather did the same..he joined the army at 15 for WWII, was captured by the Germans,and did time in a p.o.w. camp for a year and a half I think.. he died when my Mom was ten.. but because he lied,his tombstone has the wrong birthday on it.

@@killerkennyas It's true they don't. We had his service 2 days ago. It was amazing, and I got to see family that I haven't seen in 5 years. He even sang The Lord's Prayer at his own funeral, a recording from having been a choir singer his whole life. What a celebration of life the last several days were. I thank God such men existed.

A recent visit to your store off of Rt 204, I had shopped at the Bass Pro shop on 204 before heading to your store. Somehow I must have dropped my mask, probably while loading my truck w/ BPS stuff and dropped my mask there. My spare was in my RV at Skidaway State Park campground. So I pulled up my shirt to cover my face upon entry to your store and figured the store would have a mask I could buy. Upon entry a very nice young lady behind the cash register asked me if I needed a mask, yes I said. She gave me one from a stash under the counter.My guess, is you made it out back in the factory from T-shirt material! Much appreciation to you and your staff there. God Bless

You never knew what you might see them 'training with,' from time to time-- even a captured (former) enemy's Hind d helo and a (then new) 'stealth blackhawk'... I even had a couple of buddies get recruited to the Night Stalkers, right out of helicopter school... and was so jealous, because they got to play with all the cool toys! *Got nuth'in but respect!* 🖒😎

Veterans need a voice, need a better medical system, psychological care and support for themselves and their loved ones, job placement programs, help, home and aid for homeless veterans. Man I've always wanted to join USMA after graduating highschool as a choice for my university and wanted to also be a pilot within the 160th. Definetly looking up to this man's pathways.
I wish my son and his friend would have been able to get involved with a organization like BRCC but my son re enlisted after his first tour,I lost him to a IED his best friend made it home I let him live with me and I tried everything I possibly could to help him,But his memories got the better of him and he shot himself in my Barn,I support BRCC they are giving veterans a after combat purpose and they get to work around other vets I honestly believe that keeps a bunch of them from taking their own lives,God bless and keep doing what y'all do
