Goes to Dark Bramble for her first planet. Parks ship outside and flies inside with only her jetpack. Cruises through the correct route and finds Feldspar first try before any angler fish even notices. What an absolute boss kirin.
faunas reaction to the sun exploding was hilarious 1. "oh the musics too loud did I do something wrong??" 2. "oh that seems bad!" 3. "goodbye cruel world"
HOW. HOW did she manage to find feldspar not only before figuring out how the scout launcher works, but she managed to NOT SEE even a SINGLE anglerfish along the way??? The sheer blind luck is incredible.
I don't know if any anglerfish spawned in or not during her run. But going in ship less helps a lot. In my experience, it makes it really difficult for the anglerfish to notice you.
@@ZeezyTop man, in the VERY beginning of the game? literally before even knowing about the supernova, dude, that's crazy, my jaw dropped. when i saw feldspar in 2nd episode's title i thought that was kind of first acknowledgement something about him BUT WHEN I SEE THIS

Fauna is legitimately one of the coolest vtubers for doing this, get yourself an oshi that will record an entire playthrough just so you don't miss her during her break. Fauna LOVE!
You do not understand just how committed I am to this new let’s play format. Consistent one hour Fauna-Bytes are easier for me to sit down and sit through all at once, and I don’t feel any pressure to catch it while it is live. Doesn’t mean I’ll be skipping on the streams or any potential ASMRS after break lol
I really enjoy this format. I miss it. And this is absolutely the best game for it too since every person on the planet wants to spoil so removing chat greatly enhances the experience.

i have often struggled to watch other streamers play this because their exploration is affected so much by the chat. i really love the fact that fauna is deliberately not playing live. it makes her exploration so much more authentic. yeah, sometimes you end up going all over when the answer is right in front of you, but we've all done that countless times and it's part of the experience of games like this
Completely agree. This game shouldn't be streamed. Not only because of backseating and spoilers, but the chat just being there distracts from the natural process of exploration. I'm so glad Fauna decided to do it as a lets play

The duality of missing the scout launcher instructions with quickly understanding what's going on and dark bramble exploration. This was an excellent episode.
Really glad Fauna prerecorded this. Chat absolutely would spoil, infact some didn't realise this isn't live and tried to backseat anyway. This game is best experienced blind.
that went from hilarious (RB! RB, PAST FAUNA!!!!) to impressive (Dark Bramble Feldspar speed run GG EZ first try 360 no scope, using a solution I didn't even know was possible). Loving this series so far!

Forgetting the tools you have available while you're first learning the game is definitely part of the Outer Wilds experience. Despite around half of the episode being Fauna trying to get a tool she already had the whole episode still ends up being really fun, comfy and enjoyable! I don't know how she does it. Past Fauna is amazing (Current Fauna as well)
For controls thing, outer wilds sometimes has an issue. if you click out of the game, it sometimes begins having issues with controls. Its different from person to person. For me it was that pressing LS stops working and RT is constantly active if I click out. RB may have stopped working when you were messing with volume or starting the recording.

Despite around half of the episode being Fauna trying to get a tool she already had the whole episode still ends up being really fun, comfy and enjoyable! I don't know how she does it. Past Fauna is amazing (Current Fauna as well)
she's so used to her RB not working she never thought to use the Scout Launcher earlier
Watching this as she was looking for Tuff all my brain could think of was Spongebob. "Welcome to the Salty Spitoon. How tough are ya?" Lmfao.
For controls thing, outer wilds sometimes has an issue. if you click out of the game, it sometimes begins having issues with controls. Its different from person to person. For me it was that pressing LS stops working and RT is constantly active if I click out. RB may have stopped working when you were messing with volume or starting the recording.
Going from trying to find scout launcher to chatting with Feldspar isn't zero to one hundred per se, but, like, at least going from five to eighty
