To be fair they both were about profits or they wouldn’t be where they are. It is hard to win a world title. We act like we are a lock every season to win. The reality is we have find a great quarterback. When we had Big Ben he was the reason we won or lost not the coach. Ben won with both coaches. We need the players to win. We could have had bill belicheck and we would have lost that game . We don’t have the talent. We need to add some pieces . We don’t need to clean house and start from scratch. When ever we are winning games you guys say “ tomlin is the best” when they lose they should fire him and send him packing out of town!😂 get a grip with your emotions. Question if you make a mistake a work should your employer fire you right away or give you some respect that you earned because you have been there for 18+ years and never had a losing season. The reality is Mike T is going to be hard to fire. He will need another bad season for that to happen.

Pretty much makes me not want to watch. In fact, in recent years since our first (and only) child was born, I miss around 5 or 6 games per year because of “stuff.” When I was younger, that would never happen. I don’t care where I was or what was planned I’d have the game on somewhere and in some form. Now, it just feels not that important. It's going to start getting REALLY embarrassing for Tomlin. Every year he is eating away at his legacy. In fact, this is what he will be remembered for, even more than the SB's. Think about that for a second. He has overstayed his welcome with Steeler fans for so long, that the SB appearances mean less than the playoff losses do. Never mind the Steelers, The Rooneys and Tomlin need to realize it's the best thing for Tomlin. It's a bad move for him to stay. A SB winning coach (with never a losing record ) is becoming a total joke, with memes and videos and massive public ridicule. He may or may not really care at all (I actually think he does) , but it's 100% true.
Noll needed to leave, Belichick needed to leave. For god sakes Mike, leave!!! With your contract clause, you can do it on your own terms too.

Anyways I have defended him because it seemed like this rebuild was something different and finally this season was off to a somewhat great start.. He failed miserably and embarrassed the team. As a fan I’m done with tomlin not changing my mind again. He’s got to step down or get traded, if not then fire him. Losing 21-0 in the first half against the damn ravens at that and in the playoffs just shows we need some real change in this rebuild, he didn’t prepare the team enough to be hungry to win. He’s got to go.

A "players coach" is a euphemism for a coach who doesn't hold his players accountable. In midget football, my head coach got in our faces and yelled when we didn't do what we were supposed to do, very similar to Cowher. I keep hearing about Sutton calling his own blitzes, continue to see Pickens quit on plays. Can you imagine that behavior under most coaches? Under Cowher?
When I was younger, I used to wonder why the Steelers didn't pay some fan-favorite players and let them walk. It became obvious when they moved on, they were no longer elite in most cases. I trusted when someone left the team that it was the right call. It's why, even in some of the bleaker years, I knew it wouldn't last because that's not how Pittsburgh does football. Now, it's very obvious being above .500 is good enough, the mediocre standard is the standard for Tomlin and Rooney. It's not for me, and I won't be back until excellence is the standard.

As long as tickets are selling, they will never get rid of Tomlin and his "no losing seasons". I will never buy another ticket to a Steelers game as long as Tomlin is head coach. I have 50+ years of unwavering - DIEHARD support for the Steelers, and that's coming to an end. 20+ years of going to a few games each season. But, ticket prices are higher and this time is not worth it! I'm so sick of this leadership not caring about the state of this team or the fans.

We are back to the *Same Old Steelers*. I actually watched 1/2 of the first quarter on Saturday, but I couldn’t watch after that 90 yard Ravens drive. I NEVER tuned out a game! But here we are. Both of those overpriced losers see their careers almost over, and both have nothing to show for it in terms of postseason success. They figured there was no way they wanted to watch Kenny struggle again, so instead of calling out the coaching staff and lack of player development, they tossed him under the bus and rolled the dice with Russ bringing them playoff success. How’d that work out? Maybe it WASN’T Pickett. Maybe he was drafted into a horrific situation and was left to flounder.
I hope the Eagles win the SB and Pickett sends every Steeler a picture of him holding the Lombardi in one hand wearing his ring.

When he finally got his chance last year, he was ready. Was he a franchise QB? Don’t know, but the offense played like a unit the last 3 games of last season. They lost to Buffalo but without TJ. Remember 4Q Kenny? I do. It seems like he was under strict rules to avoid turnovers. He played afraid. However, when we were down and they let him play, he did. They learned nothing and he regressed his 2nd season under the “tutelage” of Canada. Was Kenny a franchise QB? Don’t know, but he was not developed here.
