Hey, you made it this far! Thank you for watching, make sure to come back & say hi before you leave... its not safe to go alone...
I really love the Diablo Angels wings design
Can they even be called wings? They look more like glowing ribbons or tentacles.
I love the design of his. You can tell they've been pulled and torn during his torture in hell.
Best look on wings is in destruction's end (actV end cinematic) from d2
@@josephmoffatt4696 some angels had them wing like (malthael and imperius) but yeah most of them look like tentacles

"If I`ve learned anything during my time here, it is that what we`re looking for and what we need are rarely the same thing". A lot of wisdom right there.

Papa Inarius is mad at us again. 😭
I like that it is a horror theme even if you meet an angel
Well this angel wants us dead. His entire species (with a very few exceptions) wants us dead
True and i wonder what more we see, his voice makes me.....nervous.
@@shinuizabusa2180 You should. That mf bout to Merc his whole kids (Humans) if it weren't for his wife (Lilith) going on a rampage and being distracted by the Greater evils.
@@shinuizabusa2180 all the angels have deep voices. Even the female ones
And the angel doesn't necessarily like you
From now on when I finish a conversation im going to say "This audience is concluded"
same and when someone wants to chat with me i say " this is how you choose to approach me"
Make sure to float away afterwards for better effect.
Inarius giving me Malthael vibes
Honestly Tyreal is the only Angel that ever really cared about Humanity. All the other angels were either antagonistic (Imperius, Malthael) or indifferent (Itherael, Auriel).
@@NeoDMC I would say Auriel was a bit more loving if humanity. She even seems to really like that you are there when you get to the Heavens in D3 and basically tells you that Imperius doesn’t matter.

@@Rexwar31 at the same time Auriel knows about our heritage, better than the other among ppl, so of course she's more willing to keep you in higher regard than mere human.

Inarius: F*ck off.

cause he knows mommy lilith is gonna spank him again
@@yourvenparianen5390 Lilith spank Inaruis? Inarius banished her to the void twice XD
Looks dope, thanks for the post.
Imagine Paladin in D4 resembling Inarius even slightly. That'd be insane.
Man I can‘t blame Inarius for being arogant. He suffered a Long long time in hell. No Wonder he is probably insane.
Except he was insane before he was imprisoned too.
What is he doing? Just floating there staring at nothing?
Yea
Menacingly
He's a broken and angry angel, I'll repost my comment here to explain why he is like this.
"The dude is clearly unhinged after everything he had been through and done.
He tried to convince Lilith to kill their children cuz he feared them
Banished her into oblivion when she refused
Weakened their children into present day humans
Got captured by Mephisto and tormented for tens of thousands of years in hell
And now he's back in Sanctuary because Heaven has it's doors closed and he can't get back in.
All while he looks at his Human descendants are weak, helpless, and pathetic while also wanting to fight Lilith.
He's broken, and and asshole xD lol I definitely wouldn't want to side with him willingly. At least Lilith wants to take care of her children and let them embrace their power..Albeit in a very dark manner."
Trash dead ass devs killing the series. THIS GAME IS SHIT just give us a ACT6 in d2r
I'm suprised he is still sane and in one piece despite all the torture he's been through
Not really
Think about what he's saying here. He's morbidly depressed and sees no hope at all.
Was Inarius just impressed by of one of his bastard grandchildren? Lol
I just hope we get to see Lilith and Mephisto together.
We most likely will, not only is this the biggest game of the franchise, we know that all the demon lords are free again and are wanting to take over Sanctuary..Plus given he is her father and the defacto "leader" of hell as the firstborn demon, it's a very likely case we are gonna see most if not all 7 demon lords.
Together Again by Buck Owens starts playing in the background.
Mephisto is a really powerful and smart fella, it's a shame we have only seen him in d2 with his weak form. We need to witness his might over the demonkind and all livings.
@@Galadir get the feeling we’ve already seen him again in the demo as the bloodied wolf
hoho hoho, we will. We will. The three Prime Evils will come once again!
for anyone thinking imperious was a jerk, he's robin williams compared to this guy
Imperious is way bigger an asshole than him for sure. He actually listens ehile imperious just bum rushes you.
my game cut off in the middle of cutscene . thanks for posting, i can see what i missed.
Damned if you do, damn if you don’t
What I don't understand is why is our character speaking so confidently to an angel
because the nephelem is stronger
Nephalems eat angels for breakfast
Only a few, and when their powers are fully awaken. If the angels descended with full force, or the demons invaded, humanity was as good as dead.
Now hang on a minute. Is Inarius going to be just another mopey "the world is full of pain so I have to destroy it" villain? Like Amon? Screw that.
Nah its diffrent. Did you play the beta ? Because his motives are very simpel and understandable^^ You will see, but in D4 he is a total cunt at least in Act 1
Nah, first he was cleaning world from demons then find love in lilith but after divorce he decided to be a not caring potatocouch dad lol
I think there's not much creativity left in Blizzard. They already turned Inarius into a self obsessed dummy.
Not sure why woke writers like to ruin iconic characters.
He has suffered enough. He just wants to go home and leave humans in a state when there's not so many unworthy crusades. He also doesn't want humans to be powerful enough to hurt his home.
@@ucao3648 I have a doubt. If we kill Inarius , won't he be slowly born from the crystal arch again? i.e. He goes to heaven like he wanted?
Maybe the other angels won't accept him even if he does.
I still hate Inarius. Sure, he got humbled quite a bit but damn. He's still as prideful as ever. But same can be said to his wife, Lilith. She may have mellowed down a bit but she's still a genocidal maniac. Diablo 4 is literally just a custody battle between a narcissistic dad and an unhinged mom.
I don't think Inarius wants humanity. He just wants humans to not be strong enough to hurt heaven.
With an Angel like this, you'll be rooting for Mephisto finding new ways of torture just for him.
actually i would want to be the one torturing him, this time round
Just because he's an angel, doesn't mean you root for evil. One must be good despite everything.
@@SuperLumianaire Calling Inarius "Good" is like calling school shooters "Saints". You don't know what length these Angels do just to keep their pride. You sound like an NPC of The Church of Light. "One must be good" yeah, right.
@@SuperLumianaire So yeah. "Just because he's an Angel" doesn't mean you need to get on your knees and give him some sloppy rims, mate.

I'm new to Diablo, how did Inarius end up in hell? And what happened to him at the end of this game? Is he gone for good? I feel kind of bad for him and Lilith.
If you don’t know by now the high heavens gave him to mephisto because of what he did with Lilith was sacrilege, I also think him being given to mephisto ended one of the many wars between them. He’s also permanently dead I’m assuming since he got kicked out of heaven.
The only cutscene i didn't skip

@@Kazzy234 no.
New to Diablo here. How powerful is Inarius compared to other angels in the series??
I'm not sure but he must be like a chief angel or something
He was Chief Military Planner or something equivalent for the Angiris Council so very....
During the Great Conflict, Inarius served as an advisor to the Angiris Council, serving under the command of Tyrael.
Strong but not near as strong as AC members.
Malthael in his prime (d3 dlc) for example could just wipe the floor with him.
@@horus5837 that’s awesome thank you. So would you consider Imperius the strongest or Malthael
@@chasecampbell7840 its a tricky Imperius lost his 1v1 with Tyrael but that was because of plot armour that El'Driun gives him, he also lost his fight with Prime Evil but thats like a toddler fighting with Pitbull the fact that he survived it is a miracle. In case of Malthael i would say that before he gone mad he was weaker but after he started to consume souls and at the end absorbed the Black soulstone (power of primal evil basically) he was the strongest.
Ok idk if anybody else mentioned this but he sounds exactly like the elder brother in RWBY volume 6
1:48 this is a meme and nobody can tell me otherwise
Shouldn't Inarius be shitting his pants at the sight of a Nephilim now that the world stone is destroyed?

Where the hell is Tyrael?
Off going to badass school to be more like d2 and not d3
Probably dead. He is mortal now
He's most likely trapped inside Heaven, the Devs already explained that after the events of Diablo 3, they shut off their doors probably by way of vote(i assume the reincarnated new Arch Angel to replace Malthael was part of this vote by then) and Inarius can't get back in so he is really pissy.
Who cares about Tyrael, after D3 happened they ruined his character

So I thought this game takes place after d3? So wouldn’t the big I still be imprisoned in hell and ripped up by chains after the council gave inarius to mephisto?
40 years have passed. Hopefully we find out what happened in those 40 years in D4 and NOT Diablo immortal 2.

Killed Diablo 3 times, killed Baal and Mephisto, killed the lesser evils, killed the archangel of death empowered by the soulstone, killed diablo empowered by the souls of other higher evils
Inarius: gets rekt by Lilith, a daughter of a higher evil, then gets rekt by a nephelem
Dear Inarius, care to explain why you won't just allow us to do your job for you without any complications?
he was actually the one who banished lilith, he even brought her to heel in the books.
@@spicykaraage641 In grand scheme of things, sorry I didn't properly specify
By rekt I meant that her plans succeeded and nephelem pushed the angels and demons off of the sanctuary, and the nephelem kicked Inarius in the nutsack , so in a way, Lillith with her cunning did so.
@@phantom1a2 in the grand scheme of things lilith's plans also failed. BUT her wish for her children to be spared came true and caused inarius' defeat, so I get where you are coming from.
@@spicykaraage641 I just really dislike Inarius for dissing humans but himself flopping right onto his face when he had all the power but failed to stop the nephelem himself.

So is the Angel of Fate, Itherael.
Weather or not he voted yes or no to the closing of the heavenly gates, his motives are always that based on the book of prophecy that he was born with.
Imperius is really the only one who is straight up a total asshole of the five arch angels and I hope the new Arch Angel to replace Malthael when reborn won't be a dick.
Blame Blizzard for only showing Arrogant Assholes and a decent one (Tyrael). Not to mention that one Angel that only has 1 job and messed it up, which is why the 3 bois got their free pass without the heavens nor the people of Sanctuary being alarmed.
This is not cinematic. Don't do it next time, it's so lame.
this is an angel with chronic depression bruh
This meeting is concluded
Yep, like anti social control freak parent that thinks they are always right but got served when their son stood up and smacked them with hard facts and is now living a bitter life knowing that he is not the very best afterall and a broken pride.
In short, a incorrigible, pathetic disgrace of a being that does not see the flaws of himself.
Tortured In hell for years, finding out the woman who loved was using you the entire time and watching all your friends die will do that to you.
@@rikmukherji No. That's what he always is based on Rathma's vision. A cynical egotistic narcissistic man child with Savior complex. His friends got ripped because they agree to help him GENOCIDE his CHILDREN while Lilith is doing groceries or something. And all this shit happened because he saw that his kids are more powerful than him, without the Nephalems/Humans having any intentions to do so. They just saw them HAVING POTENTIAL and not even the majority of them knows how to use it, Inarius just said "Yeah, I think we should kill them. Give me 5 minutes to think about it tho."
It is him, always have. He deserved his punishment in hell. It's even Heaven's Angiris council that made the decision.
Why not try being tormented by Mephisto for YEARS in hell, bruh? I think you'll have much bigger problems than chronic depression.

Fast and Furious : Angels Edition
Ok toretto
the entire plot of D4 seem's to be a Couples/Lovers Quarrel between an Angel and his Demon Wife.
Inarius and Lilith Seriously needs to get a Couples Counselling or Therapy.
Yeah its like a Divorce battle. Both parents fighting for custody of the kids and the property (sanctuary and nephilims)
All modern Blizzard games' plots revolve around the same theme: conflicting opinions over creation, like two groups of artists arguing over design concepts both with respectable reasons. You see that in Zerg/Protoss, Amon/Xel'Naga, Legion/Draeni, Angel/Demons, Overwatch/Darkwatch, and now Inarius/Lilith. It's probably their first attempt at making both sides represented by a single character, though, so It's looking somewhat out of place - but at least it's not as absurd as the D3 nephalem.
I hope your channel skyrockets with the release of Diablo 4. Your content on the Diablo lore is unmatched. I enjoy the 10-30min videos and it's so nice to be playing through Diablo then learning more about the plot/characters through your well explained videos!
THIS IS HOW YOU DISPLAY A DEITY
D4's storytelling is next level for ARPGs. It is the biggest highlight of the "demo" which sold me on playing game, though i refuse to pre-purchase.
I hope that Blizzard will actually support the game like they did WoW, so we can get expansions around the prime evils again. In D3 the black soulstone was shattered and the essence contained in it is released again. In Diablo lore, demons always re-emerge in hell after some time as long as they essence is free. So the return of Mephisto, Diablo and Baal is an easy highlight that will be in the game at some point. Not to mention encountering the other lesser evils like Andariel, Duriel (which we have already seen) and the others from D3.
I just hope they can fix the current problems most ARPG players (like myself) have with the game (highly doubt it as it would require structural change). Regardless. The gameplay is solid and entertaining enough to at the very least play it for the story. Not sure if it holds up as a "full time game", that all depends on how the lvl50/paragon/unique situation turns out. Hoping for the best, but expecting to be disappointed.
they (the 3) are already present, your player character will have to interact with them later on ...in a manner we are not a costumed ...cannot say more, under DNA
It was good storytelling but the dumbest plothoke was that Inarius kills his son also to prevent Lilith from succeeding and forgets that the weapon includes the key to hell for Lilit. Incredible stupid twist
@@listrahtes I think this is a misdirect. Rathma never said his father killed him and only mentions that they will be lifted from him, not by who.
Also, if you look closely, in the vision from Lillith, Rathma is basically a fresh corpse. Yet when we arrive, he is ash and is smoldering.
I'm pretty sure Inarius didn't kill Rathma. Rathma killed himself. Lillith found Rathma FIRST and therefore Lillith finds the key. Inarius came later, unable to find the key, in frustration he burns Rathma to ash.
After that, we find him. This would make more sense and it still in line with the Rathma prophecy.
@@BladeBloodreaver Sounds very fitting but impaling yourself on the floor with the weapon buried in the ground is not really grounds to expect a suicide. Seems impossible. Maybe it's someone entire different.

I also wonder how that vote went in heaven to completely shut their doors and do absolutely nothing for Sanctuary anymore.
My theory is that the 5th Archangel to replace Maltheal got reincarnated at some point after D3's events and then the vote happened then. Unless a civil dispute perhaps happened in heaven?
