you know shit's going to hell when ill o'reilly and stephen colbert have a thought out meaningful conversation and o'reilly consistently makes valid points
I've always loved O'Reilly when he gets on Colbert's show (this one or the previous one), and also when he's done stuff with Jon Stewart. Even if you don't agree with some of his stances, he always tries to explain himself and he brings a playful yet cantankerous attitude to the party that's quite fun to watch.
Although what O'Reilly calls "whining" is Trump's standard mode of operation. He's all over the place complaining about things being bad and that he will make them better. He can't go into specifics, and can't stop complaining, because that's all that he's got.
Malignant narcissists are very good at pointing out the flaws of other narcissists.. kinda the perfect storm, really. Would love to see him and Trump go at it.. it would end in ear biting.
LOL would love to see that, too :-D But IMO O'Reilly is only narcissistic in the everyday sense of the word, while Trump actually suffers from Narcissist Personality Disorder (which isn't just egocentrism but also includes distorted perception of time, taste, emotions etc.)
Right?! I remember despising this guy? I remember him seeming like a cock holster for Bush. What happened? Now the "liberal media" seems like the new "Fox News." If I have to hear one more idiot make a Trump small hands joke again I might just have to give up on them. It's not funny. It was barely amusing the first time. Please talk about something that matters.
Fox News itself is making a few licks of sense, too. I've even watched some Stephen Crowder, Milo Yian-something, Glenn Beck, and Alex Jones. Conservatives tend to have an aversion to socialism and habits of pessimism, but I can't help but agree with them on this: Secretary Clinton is up to little-to-no good.
No he is actually a parody of himself on his show. He has different views politically than most of the people on this page I am certain but he is actually pretty reasonable about said differences when not in front of a Fox camera. So for the debate he will most likely lose the reasonableness he showed here.
yyea the supposedly PRO TRUMP news channel is against trump. there is no pro trump news channel. hillary got NBC, CNN, ABC plus any comedy show ever (thats were left wing people get their news anyway)
Thomas Hall yea, let's get an uninformed, blustery narcissistic goofball in the Oval Office instead of a person who has been in public service and politics most of her life. We certainly don't want to be reasonable do we?
"The story of how Hillary Clinton and the *DMC* destroyed the Bernie Sanders movement." What does the DeLorean Motor Company have to do with Bernie Sanders losing?
Avenger22 I always find it so hilarious because Bill is obviously coaching him and trying to prepare him for the difficult questions, but instead of taking the hint, The Donald gets all defensive lol
I think it's because he knows his candidate Trump is a f*cking lunatic!. Did you see his last interview with him? Trump seriously needs to calm down with the conspiracy theories
I actually gained respect for Bill back in 2012 when he did the debate against Jon Stewart. I disagree with his political views in a lot of ways, but I think he's smart and I don't think that a person has to share every view that another person does to have respect/friendship.
no, he can be extremely affable outside of his own little box and Colbert generally brings the best out of him. His criticism on the clown circus was truly apt.
Evol Peed When O'Reilly is just a person he's funny and seems like a good guy, that's why he's done so good on tv. It's when he gets on his show and starts his BS'ing that you remember why you don't like him
Just self-serving damage control. Bill O'Reiley has done his fair share of popularizing the shouting-bullying-journalism-is-cool childish nonsense over the years. Just look at the recent Chinatown 'good gentleman fun' debacle that will come back and haunt him. But now the huge Trumpede has produced plenty of casualties starting with Billy Bush, he is toning down. Bill still needs to sell books after all.
eh, after michelle obama's speech at the DNC where she used the line about living in a house built by slaves, O'Reilly did some fucked up segment about the slaves being "well fed" & having "decent lodging" provided by the government...like this made it okay? he's still pretty fucked up...but trump makes *everyone* look somewhat sane apparently.
He's been mellowing for a few years now, ever since he started pal-ing up with Jon Stewart. I now have an enormous amount of respect for him, when compared with Hannity, or THE FIVE or Fox and Friends.
Agreed. O'Reilly takes his job as a journalist seriously but he knows that he can't take himself too seriously. That's a winning mix, and I say this as someone who disagrees with him on just about every issue. Compare that to Hannity who is a proud shill with an impossibly inflated sense of self-worth.
Luca Viggiani Yes Jon Stewart was the one to separate the real O'Reilly vs TV O'Reilly. During their debate he admitted he sometimes has to play a role and doesn't necessarily agree with his conservative narrative on his show it was a very honest communication
He's never been anywhere near as crazy or nonsensical as the shit that has (sadly) started to rise into the mainstream in the last few years like Breitbart and Alex Jones...
Id almost say he sounds like the voice of reason here. Its totally true that both sides are so hyperbolic that most people start believing the extremes are true.
I don't like Bill O'Reilly. But I respect him. He isn't a blind republican. He's got an open mind, in that he will accept the good and the bad about someone without fudging it to fit his agenda. By that I mean, he won't go out of his way. He does however interpret things differently so that it fits his thought process.
He actually isn't Republican or Democrat. He's got an ego but one of the most reasonable people to watch news about this election from compared to the rest of Fox or CNN
"He's got an open mind, in that he will accept the good and the bad about someone without fudging it to fit his agenda. " Umm.... "The reason I said he looks like a Muslim, is because he looks like a Muslim, and looking like that can be scary" "Donald Trump will have a hard time helping black people get jobs because most of them are “ill-educated and have tattoos on their foreheads." “Don't get pregnant at 14. Don't allow your neighborhoods to deteriorate into free-fire zones. That's what the African-American community should have on their T-shirts.”
I'm so confused by Bill O'Reilley. I think he knows how to play a crowd much like all these politicians he bashes. He has the ability to look moderate and win over a crowd with his sense of humor. But on his show he is annoyingly ignorant because he knows he has tens of millions of racist deplorables watching who he has to please if he wants to stay on the air. I guess the only way to know who he truly is to know him in person. But he can't be that awful considering him and Jon Stewart have been long time friends.
Steven Colbert is a true master of political comedy. He's able to stand true to his moral convictions while placating the egos of his unpopular and rude guests. Gracious interviewer. Fun-loving comedian. Idk if anyone could handle BO'R shit better than Colbert.
Yeah it's pretty interesting. He's a person who can be really overbearing and unreasonable when he's on the confines of his own show and dominating his guests, but he does have moments, especially when he's on comedy shows with Colbert and Stewart, where he does seem a lot more reasonable in his opinions and statements. I feel like another person like that is Glenn Beck. Him and O'Reilly seem like people who you wouldn't want to have an argument with while they're on air, but would be really interesting to have a personal conversation with.
Chev427BB Like me, I am a moderate conservative. I do not agree everything with Hillary Clinton. However, she has some policies I am totally agree. Affordable education is necessary to help people get ahead on global competition. Therefore we need increase funding for college and help out reduce college' cost.
GenericFakeName it should be more than 7 points down after last night's debate, but if he can shut his mouth and actually say something that makes sense i think there's still a chance...which is scary
My grandfather stormed Juno Beach with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. Such a great humble man with a great sense of humor. Rest in peace old timer.
***** So basically any Republican who has any common sense and decency. Can't have that when you can fight for the forces of racism, misogyny, and living off corporate welfare.
Ana Navarro, Megyn Kelly, Mike Pence speaking rationally blew my mind...but ultimately my sanity was able to handle it. But...O`Reilly? WTF?! Bill O`Reilly making sense....my brain can`t handle it!
I agree with you on the others but when did Mike pence speak rationally? Ignoring everything that comes out of Trump's mouth like he's living in an alternate reality is wishful thinking, not rationality.
Specifically, at a rally, some crazy woman said that if Trump lost the election, they would revolt. Pence just stopped her and said, "Don`t say that." He even seemed to be embarrassed to have such a clown at his own rally. Mind you, this is just one instance...but it`s Mike Pence we are talking about so the bar is pretty low.
llongone2 I've noticed a lot of Fox News people have dialed it back a bit since Roger Ailes was removed. It seems like they're trying to be actual journalists again and not just defend their party 24/7 no matter what.
Regardless Claystead, I was being humorous because we all know Brian Williams was there... ;) BTW... I'm not an O'Reilly fan by any stretch. Much of news media nowadays seems contrived and warped regardless of what channel you flip to. So I can't really speak of any one particular national media person and say... "That's my guy/girl." I honestly feel they put on more of an act to appeal to their audience than they actually tell the actual news (in an unbiased fashion). The network ratings game has turned it into that. Doesn't matter the channel either. I think Nancy Grace is about as batpoop crazy as Glen Beck and Sean Hannity combined (which is a special order of crazy in either case). The days of admiring/respecting a news anchor on National News like you could during Cronkite's era... just doesn't seem plausible today. I can't think of even one offhand I truly admire or respect. They all seem like slime to me or if not slime... inoffensively blasé or lacking enough stature to even resonate.
I read "Killing Patton," (it was a gift) and the history recounted in it was pretty pedestrian stuff. That's the contribution of Dugard. The parts where there were crazy conspiracy theories on what happened, that was all O'Reilly. It was clear who wrote which parts of the book. It looked to be 85-90% Dugard with 10-15% by O'Reilly.
I was genuinely surprised at the legitimate conversation between them. What a time to live in when we have Bill O'Reilly giving thoughtful commentary on a political topic, and he still manages to have genuinely good comedic timing/banter.
I think that when he is on his show, he is paid to play a certain character, kind of like the colbert report or daily show. It seems like he is actually an intelligent person, but has to be a certain way on his show. when he is on other shows, he is usually way turned down
O'Reilly is one of the most intelligent, well-spoken voices for the side most of us likely disagree with. It's important to listen to him and have respect for his opinions. They feel ridiculous at face value, but his side thinks progressives are completely absurd and undeserving of respect as well. Finding a middle ground is necessary. We check and balance each other at the end of the day.
Oh my god, yes. All my yes. Every yes that I can ever possibly have are to be redistributed to facilitate the sheer magnitude of my agreement with this statement. In short: Yes!
A lot of people, mostly young, don't know what debating/listening to your enemy means anymore. You can learn a lot from people you don't like or disagree with.
Its no secret that he has a history of denying racism and misrepresenting issues associated with blacks and minorities. A quick search will offer up plenty. Theres also the racist segments he has on his show, like the recent chinatown one that was roundly (and deservedly) lampooned by Trevor Noah on The Daily Show.
I love the Bill/Colbert relationship. Two people, liberal and conservative, that can talk policy politely and have a laugh. I wish more people were like this.
Holy crap...I agree with Bill O'Reilly about talking to the American people and tell us you're wanting to help me and stop whining and complaining about each other...
+Martin Orphanides The "no spin zone" is how Bill describes and refers to The O'Reilly Factor. Which of course is the biggest oxymoron ever spawned by Fox News.
The reason we agree with O'Reilly is because he knows Trump is out of control ( a loose cannon and that is bad ) Trump did a great thing by destroying himself. lol
Which is crazy that's the point we're at but I'd definitely take O'Reilly over the Donald...I'd take syphilis over the Donald. There'd even be a fair debate on voting for him over Hillary, maybe.
Kyle G Yeah, we're so dumb, wanting someone in charge who isn't a thin skinned man child who takes offense at every little slight and has a temperament that could get us nuked by Canada. It's so much smarter to vote for someone who's not a politician which is basically the mind set of hiring a plumber to fix your stove. And then more than likely point the finger at the "liberals" when he burns the house down because, shock and surprise, he has no idea how to do the job. And to be honest, when what Trump and his supporters are saying, as you are now, that fellow Americans should be stripped of constitutional rights such as voting because you deem them as unworthy of them, you damn well better believe I call out what they say. Because it is dangerous, unAmerican, and unpatriotic garbage.
Rupert Murdoch is also losing his vise grip on Fox news. Years ago he was a National Enquired type of org. So sad so many millions have been taken in by this shyster to has warped the Republican party into a bunch of know nothings and just say no narcissists.
this is one of the best interviews I have ever seen from two men who disagree so much. props to Colbert and O'Reilly for being so professional and courteous
I really do love the frienemy dynamic that has formed between these two in the post colbert report years. It's weird how well they are able to play off of each other
I'm not gonna lie, the idea of Trump wearing a shock collar is quite appealing to me........so long as the American people have the button to initiate shocks
Yeah Chris Wallace will be a reliable moderator--a man who claims its not his job to point out when the candidate is telling what amounts to a bald faced lie, which is what Trump does endlessly. For O'Reilly to even equate him with his father who was forever taking liars to task for that very thing is to insult Mike Wallace's memory. I saw the two of them together once on C-Span and recall seeing Mr. Wallace looking at his son and saying "you don't really believe any of that crap do you?" meaning the crap that his bosses at Fox News were forever pushing on that network. Chris should be ashamed of disgracing the profession his father so diligently served.
Anyone else feel the 3rd debate is going to be a shit-show between a Fox moderator pandering to Trump and Trump ranting and raving about a rigged system?
Eh...Chris Wallace is one of the few anchors on Fox who has a sense of actually being a journalist, he still has his bad moments, but over all he's not that bad. I'm guessing the debate will be ok, and i'd wager that he will push Trump on the whole rigged comments. (at least im hopeing. )
Umar Nasir I *want* to see her get hit hard, even though I'm firmly in her court (I can't stand Trump nor the people supporting him now, with the conspiracy stuff and the "I'm ready for the revolution"). I want to see her reaction and response. I'm fairly certain that they would be satisfactory, but I want her to SHOW it. I don't want to feel this election was won due to her sitting back and watching the Trump campaign tire-fire like the rest of us did. She showed it in the first and second debates that despite Trump was looming over her and jabbing in little insults, she stayed calm and didn't engage too much. I want to see her keep that going because that is a big part of the role of POTUS: composure.
Erron Watts I did not know that. To be honest I never took Fox News all that seriously. They were panned as unreliable even before the election was a brain-sperm in the mind of anyone. It just seemed due to Fox and Friends and Hannity that Fox News was firmly up Trump's own ass. Then again I made this post before I heard O'Reilly's whole spiel, and I'm certain he at least is taking things on the level.
Man, you know things are fucked when you agree with O'Reilly
Krish D. Exactly
madmartian88 true
ain't that the fucking truth!
Krish D. 😂😂 we're all screwed
Oh, my god, defenitely.
Stephen Colbert is making fun of Hillary, Bill O'Reilly is teasing trump, and for once we have television unity
you know shit's going to hell when ill o'reilly and stephen colbert have a thought out meaningful conversation and o'reilly consistently makes valid points
He's a clown, respect can be given without credibility.
there's still hope
you must not follow colbert, bill's appeared plenty of times with the same type of conversations even on colbert's old show
OOH SNAP!
Bill needs to moderate the next debate, he can start by saying "F**K it, we'll do it live".
LOL! Actually, he could be a great moderator.
'twould be epic.
What’s interesting is Colbert says the exact line that set Bill off in the do it live tape. Play me off or play them off
These two seriously need a show together.
or at least a podcast
I could get behind that
I feel like they'd get into a fist fight during the pilot
that could work if Bill plays the dummy to Colbert. He wouldn't do that
Víctor Barraza I think bill would do anything for money
I don't always agree with O'Reilly. But when I do I assume hell has frozen over.
What would assume if you heard that Glenn Beck had called Hillary "the moral, ethical choice" in this election?
This has got to be the quote of the election!!!
It's kinda sad when Bill makes more sense than any of the presidential candidates
So true. The lottery might be nice as well. I'm shocked over here! 😱
thepook04 same!
Bill didn't say anything crazy; Colbert must be a good influence on him.
seriously.
or this election has just taken such a toll on him that he has lost all of his swag-crazy
nevermind, finished the video, o'reily still crazy, just exasperated from having to try and defend trump
Cam108 Wow, I actually agree with Bill.
Roger Ailes is no longer in charge of FOX. Without his benefactor to protect him...his crazy, arrogant bullshit might actually get him in trouble.
How bad do you have to be, when BILL O REILLY advises you to drop your whining?
Running for President of the United States
Although what O'Reilly calls "whining" is Trump's standard mode of operation. He's all over the place complaining about things being bad and that he will make them better. He can't go into specifics, and can't stop complaining, because that's all that he's got.

LOL would love to see that, too :-D But IMO O'Reilly is only narcissistic in the everyday sense of the word, while Trump actually suffers from Narcissist Personality Disorder (which isn't just egocentrism but also includes distorted perception of time, taste, emotions etc.)
MartaEzis I agree completely.
O'Reily: "You desperately need to read this book ...or have someone read it to you" LOL You can tell from Stephen's face that it really got to him.
They have obviously rivalry. Stephen Colbert/ Jon Steward gang has been bad mouthing FOX.
I didn't get the joke... :/ What did he mean by that? :D
+pihla01 he was implying that stephen can't read, i'd think
Lol how did you get from his face that it really got to him..? I didn't even see him flinch, he just smiled and went with it.
***** Okay thanks :)
Give these two a show
Code Cravings *Bephen Co'Reilly*
Bill O'Reilly is a voice of reason. Truly the end times are upon us.
nah, that would be when Hannity was a brain
Satan must have his sweater on because it's a cold day in hell when I agree with O'rielly.
HAHAHAHA!! love this!
I was just thinking the same thing.
Bill is making sense? Everything I know is a LIE!!
MutilatedMetalhead I do and I still got sick as shit. Send help.
His name is Ken Bone.
You know 2016 is fucked up when Bill O'Reilly starts making a lot of sense all year.
LOL
Captain Hindsight lmfao yup
Captain Hindsight No shit eh, was just thinking the same thing.
Fox News itself is making a few licks of sense, too. I've even watched some Stephen Crowder, Milo Yian-something, Glenn Beck, and Alex Jones. Conservatives tend to have an aversion to socialism and habits of pessimism, but I can't help but agree with them on this: Secretary Clinton is up to little-to-no good.
and Megyn Kelly dude. The fuck is going on.
😑😑😑no wonder he seemed polite and impartial, he was trying to sell his book.
he always is, this is like his 4th one
didnt he try to sell this same one the last time he was on Colbert ?
sales really didnt go up after the last time
I thought the last one was Killing Reagan? On the attempt.
No he is actually a parody of himself on his show. He has different views politically than most of the people on this page I am certain but he is actually pretty reasonable about said differences when not in front of a Fox camera. So for the debate he will most likely lose the reasonableness he showed here.
Jason Gablaski Oh my bad. They all sound the same to me lol
Thks for clarifying 😁
It's kind of awesome to see two old nemesis' riff like this
Just when you thought that this election couldn't surprise you anymore, Bill O'reilly sounds reasonable....What the heck???
So fucking true. XD
Mauricio Merida He sounds perfectly reasonable when he's not on his own show.
Hold on, did I just agree with Bill O'Reilly?!
The tide,the tide goes out.
Can't explain that.
Yes, yes we did. I 100% agree with his advice for both candidates on the last debate (*dry heaves*)
I think it's because this time, the candidate is extremely crazy and it scares the crap out of everybody
I hadn't heard of him before (I'm not American), who is he?
First time I've ever enjoyed an O'Reilly interview
He can actually be a pretty fun guy once he gets off the reactionary Fox News Obama-Is-An-Asshole train.
Ted52 but he IS an asshole.
he's been appearing on a lot of talk shows recently, most, if not all of them are enjoyable. look at the one he did on Ellen
You should watch the other interviews he's had with Colbert, they've all been great.
Don't get comfortable. That's when they take your kids.
Bill dislikes Trump.... That speaks worlds about this whole shebang.
yyea the supposedly PRO TRUMP news channel is against trump.
there is no pro trump news channel.
hillary got NBC, CNN, ABC plus any comedy show ever (thats were left wing people get their news anyway)
Donald Trump for president is a dream. Hillary Clinton for president is a nightmare
i almost want hillary to win just so trump can stay in entertainment.
i like him as a guy.
Thomas Hall yea, let's get an uninformed, blustery narcissistic goofball in the Oval Office instead of a person who has been in public service and politics most of her life. We certainly don't want to be reasonable do we?
***** nobody likes politicians.
i prefer someone without what you call "experience".
NOBODY likes politicians
I do love the way these two interact. it's clear they do respect each other
I say this every time he comes on the show--can we please get a weekly half hour show with these two? This is what this country needs.
Crossfire the way it ought to be.
darkknightdetec6
To play us out? What does that mean?!?!
It's when the band starts playing at some event to drown out the speaker and signal to them that it's time to shut up.
I CANT READ IT THERE'S NO WORDS ON IT!
"We'll do it live. WE'LL DO IT LIVE!!! FUCK IT"
Perineum FUCKIN THING SUCKS!
I"m leaving you with Sting and a cut off his new album.
O'Reilly's next book should be "Killing Sanders".
- The story of how Hillary Clinton and the DMC destroyed the Bernie Sanders movement.
mhmm... so tasty, lets just wait until she can't be reelected, Id really like to read about it
If Hillary Clinton wins, he should write "Killing America".
***** just to appeal to Sanders voters who wouldn´t vote, some of Sanders ideas would be very expensive
She already has did the deed of cheating Sanders in order to get to finally run.
"The story of how Hillary Clinton and the *DMC* destroyed the Bernie Sanders movement." What does the DeLorean Motor Company have to do with Bernie Sanders losing?
You know 2016 is crazy when Bill O'Reilly talks sense and Stephen Colbert agrees with him...
Wait a sec? Bill O'Reilly just asked trump to quit whining? What??!!!
Did this really happen or am I just watching this video in my dream??? 😂
Bill actually tells this directly to Donald during his interviews with him. Bill tries his best to coach Donald, but he *never* listens.
It's a fun gag they have going on. What a lovable goof that donald just like papa bear!
Avenger22 I always find it so hilarious because Bill is obviously coaching him and trying to prepare him for the difficult questions, but instead of taking the hint, The Donald gets all defensive lol
thats the fun part. NBC ABC CNN is promoting clinton all day.
meanwhile FOX is shitting on trump ASWELL half the time.
no not rigged at all.
michi k you're completely right it's not rigged
Bill is normal when he's not on his stupid show
Be careful, Ben Carson was literally a fucking brain surgeon.
Bill's always like that.
this is the most sane, non douchey bill i've ever seen. i'm honestly shocked.
I think it's because he knows his candidate Trump is a f*cking lunatic!. Did you see his last interview with him? Trump seriously needs to calm down with the conspiracy theories
He's a really smart guy! He's just been hired by assholes and has to serve them, but I love his books.
God help me, I'm really starting to like Bill O'Reilly.... most messed up election ever....
I actually gained respect for Bill back in 2012 when he did the debate against Jon Stewart. I disagree with his political views in a lot of ways, but I think he's smart and I don't think that a person has to share every view that another person does to have respect/friendship.

Lol, I was just thinking the same thing, who knew the day would come when I would think I agree with Bill O'Reilly!
When he isn't on his show he's shockingly articulate and reasonable. There's a reason he and Stewart are friends.
Evol Peed When O'Reilly is just a person he's funny and seems like a good guy, that's why he's done so good on tv. It's when he gets on his show and starts his BS'ing that you remember why you don't like him
I don't like Bill O'Reilly's political stance, but I can at least respect the guy. Not like the rest of the Fox News clown car.
Just self-serving damage control. Bill O'Reiley has done his fair share of popularizing the shouting-bullying-journalism-is-cool childish nonsense over the years. Probably the most intelligent comment made here.
Glorified Truth You got a problem fuck boi?
gtaclevelandcity Who the fuck are you?
It's really a pleasure to watch these two interact.
Tide goes in tide goes out
Fuck it, we're doing it live
pissing myself laughing, great comment
I love that these Bill O'reilly comments are famous enough to joke about.
Fuckin' magnets, how do they work?
He's been mellowing for a few years now, ever since he started pal-ing up with Jon Stewart. I now have an enormous amount of respect for him, when compared with Hannity, or THE FIVE or Fox and Friends.

Luca Viggiani Yes Jon Stewart was the one to separate the real O'Reilly vs TV O'Reilly.
During their debate he admitted he sometimes has to play a role and doesn't necessarily agree with his conservative narrative on his show
it was a very honest communication
Luca Viggiani honestly this started ever since the whole presidential race.
He's never been anywhere near as crazy or nonsensical as the shit that has (sadly) started to rise into the mainstream in the last few years like Breitbart and Alex Jones...
For the first time ever, I'm in complete agreement with Bill O'Reilly.
Id almost say he sounds like the voice of reason here. Its totally true that both sides are so hyperbolic that most people start believing the extremes are true.
David Pierdomenico So you were wrong all this time?
I don't like Bill O'Reilly. But I respect him. He isn't a blind republican. He's got an open mind, in that he will accept the good and the bad about someone without fudging it to fit his agenda. By that I mean, he won't go out of his way. He does however interpret things differently so that it fits his thought process.
Dehrich Chya I absolutely agree with you.
He actually isn't Republican or Democrat. He's got an ego but one of the most reasonable people to watch news about this election from compared to the rest of Fox or CNN
So, you are saying he is unbias but dumb?
"He's got an open mind, in that he will accept the good and the bad about someone without fudging it to fit his agenda. " Umm....

Aubberfly JM Yess! Him and Jon Stuart. They both are good at handling O'Reilly's shit.
I agree with Bill O'Reilly.
I can't believe I just typed that ^^.
you stole my words!!!
I swear i was just about to type the same thing...the man was actually normal for once...this is insane!
omg did i just hear bill say that hillary should be winning more?????? im shooooooooooooookkkkkkkkk
It makes sense, she has more in common with moderate Republicans than Trump does.
+Chev427BB
That may be because she basically IS a moderate republican.
Chev427BB Like me, I am a moderate conservative. I do not agree everything with Hillary Clinton. However, she has some policies I am totally agree. Affordable education is necessary to help people get ahead on global competition. Therefore we need increase funding for college and help out reduce college' cost.
O'Reilley has slowly become more reasonable over the years. i think him being closer to retirement might be a part of it
Trump has made liberals see Bill O'Riley as reasonable. Lets reflect on this for a minute.
GenericFakeName Good 😊 one!
In a way it's almost beautiful. Maybe once the Trump man is defeated both sides of the isle will be able to see eye to eye better.
but if Bill O'Riley sounds reasonable...doesn't that mean that this world is so freaking upside-down right now that Trump may actually win?
Jeremy Siganga He's like seven points down isn't he? Historically that's pretty much down for the count.
GenericFakeName it should be more than 7 points down after last night's debate, but if he can shut his mouth and actually say something that makes sense i think there's still a chance...which is scary
O'reilly sounding like a reasonable human being because daddy Roger Ailes isn't around anymore.
My grandfather stormed Juno Beach with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. Such a great humble man with a great sense of humor. Rest in peace old timer.
I feel like Bill has really mellowed out over the years. I also adore the back and forth they have developed, it's very funny.
Ms.X He's slowly becoming a respectable man. A man I still disagree with a lot, but one I can respect!
***** So basically any Republican who has any common sense and decency. Can't have that when you can fight for the forces of racism, misogyny, and living off corporate welfare.
hi, could you guys take this somewhere else please? this looks like it might be a long argument and I'd rather not have my phone buzzing all night.
Pksoze your weird
Facts are weird to idiots.
Ana Navarro is a badass man.
I believe what you're explaining is called "bias."
_Killing the Rising Sun_ by Bill O'Reilly & Martin Dugard; AKA _Killing the Rising Sun_ by Martin Dugard.
Yup... it was written by Brian Williams. ;)
Regardless Claystead, I was being humorous because we all know Brian Williams was there... ;)
BTW...
Why is Bill O'Reilly so thoughtful and reasonable on Colbert's show, but literally never on his own?
Christopher Davis My brain broke
I was wondering that myself.
Because FOX money and viewership.
Coming this December from Simon & Schuster: _Killing Bill O'Reilly_ by Andrea Mackris.
Also, the big release of next summer: "Killing Roger Ailes" by Carlson, Kelly, et al.
I guess they'll dedicate an entire page to mention the authors.
Kill Bill vol 3
I was genuinely surprised at the legitimate conversation between them. What a time to live in when we have Bill O'Reilly giving thoughtful commentary on a political topic, and he still manages to have genuinely good comedic timing/banter.
Did Bill O'Reilly just make some sense? He even made some jokes? He's mellowed a lot.
I think that when he is on his show, he is paid to play a certain character, kind of like the colbert report or daily show. It seems like he is actually an intelligent person, but has to be a certain way on his show. when he is on other shows, he is usually way turned down
he was really funny when he debated Jon stewart
GOOGLE STAHP PLZ He did go to Yale and have the #1 news show for like 20 years. Gotta be somewhat intelligent to do that.
O'Reilly is always more likable when he's not on his show.
His racism though.
Can you explain how he's racist
Its no secret that he has a history of denying racism and misrepresenting issues associated with blacks and minorities. A quick search will offer up plenty. Theres also the racist segments he has on his show, like the recent chinatown one that was roundly (and deservedly) lampooned by Trevor Noah on The Daily Show.
It's fun to watch these 2 interact. Both quick witted and sarcastic with opposing views...also they both can take a joke and keep going.
John Hersey's "Hiroshima" is a genuinely amazing book about the dropping of the atomic bomb.
Sanker Narayanan no one cares.
+Yer Boi I...I care.
You'd care if you'd read that book.
Agreed.
"Friend Bill O'Reilly" dont hear that often I bet
Love how all the people responsible for creating Trump are acting confused and offended.
It's the first time I see Bill o'Reilly as a fellow human being.
I really enjoy the humour between bill and stephen.
These guys are too fun together
I mean it is a comedy show.
"or have someone read it to you" 😂😂 wow
For some reason, I always love this pairing. The back and forth is great.
Bill O'reilly steps out of the no spin zone, becomes a moderately decent person; Can't explain that!
Its the air
I agree with you...but don't you mean "into" the no spin zone? :)
+Martin Orphanides The "no spin zone" is how Bill describes and refers to The O'Reilly Factor. Which of course is the biggest oxymoron ever spawned by Fox News.
Ahh...didn't know that. So, he's ironic without realizing that he's ironic... wow.
explain why u are so beautiful.
The reason we agree with O'Reilly is because he knows Trump is out of control ( a loose cannon and that is bad )
Trump did a great thing by destroying himself. lol
Takes a man like Trump to squeeze out O 'Reilly's reasonable side. Good on him for showing logic.
O'Reilly's twin brother talks some sense....
These two guys are so entertaining together, who would've thought that.
Do you think those little bursts of yelling are intentional with O'Reilly? Is he aware that he goes from 0 to 10 all the time?
Makes more dramatic TV, which is what most fox watchers want so I think it probably is intentional.
People like Bill O'Reilly are one of the reasons our politics (particularly the Republican party) is in such a sorry state in the first place
.... Honestly I'm like. Hey, could uh... maybe this guy should run?
Got to love Colbert and O'Reilly's ongoing tsundere bromance.
The weirdest thing about this election is that it made me appreciate the reason in Bill O'Reilly's arguments.
Can we always have this Bill?!
Since when did Bill stop supporting Trump?
After Hillary won
Rupert Murdoch is also losing his vise grip on Fox news. Years ago he was a National Enquired type of org. So sad so many millions have been taken in by this shyster to has warped the Republican party into a bunch of know nothings and just say no narcissists.
It's so refreshing to see advisories treating each other with respect.
I think this is the only O'Reilly video that has an up vote.
I'm surprised. Bill O'Reilly makes actually sense and he's so civil.
Damn Colbert's Trump impression was pretty good
I enjoy two people with different views coming together for a good interview like that. Respect.
Who's watching this after O'Reilly got canned?
"I wouldn't be here, and you'd probably like that." LOL
first time ever I don't have a problem with what O'Reilly say
I NEVER get tired of these 2's back and forth! Lol
o'reilly is actually a nice and rational guy. who knew.
"It's Japaaaan. What's wrong with you?" That's a good one.
wait! arent we supposed to hate Bill? i'm confused
bruno alves lol
this is one of the best interviews I have ever seen from two men who disagree so much. props to Colbert and O'Reilly for being so professional and courteous
A civil conversation between a conservative and a liberal??? First time it's happened this election!
Nothing like a common enemy to bring people together!
I really do love the frienemy dynamic that has formed between these two in the post colbert report years. It's weird how well they are able to play off of each other
I'm not gonna lie, the idea of Trump wearing a shock collar is quite appealing to me........so long as the American people have the button to initiate shocks
GokuSS400 LOL 😂
GokuSS400 Both candidates need to drop out. Both are evil.
"I am not as bad as I am portraying myself to be"
this is the second time i've seen bill o'reilly make sense. i can't remember the first time though, it was a long time ago.
A debate on foreign policy, should be fun watching donald trying to bring up emails again in between yelling isis and his sniffles.
Always entertaining when these two meet up.
Can't stand Bill but I love when Stephen talks to him! Always an entertaining interview.
I love that the two of you get along and support each other: evidence of higher evolution. Thank you.
These guys have a weird relationship
Love the banter between the two. Colbert and O'reily should have a sitcom on Nick at Night.
I want Donald Trump to stop breathing.
Bill's so much more agreeable when he's not being snarked at by a parody of himself.
(at least im hopeing. )
Either way, they're gonna hit Hilary hard, but she's used to being bullied around by now. Gotta say, she is one tough b'
Umar Nasir
I *want* to see her get hit hard, even though I'm firmly in her court (I can't stand Trump nor the people supporting him now, with the conspiracy stuff and the "I'm ready for the revolution").
Erron Watts
I did not know that.
That's completely fair of you, to ask more from your ticket/politician, more importantly, who wants to bet Trump will be even MORE coked up this time?
Bill doesn't take Colbert's shit. I love it
