Dio is a lot faster tho. He can casually deflect light speed attacks from many directions. Not to mention the time stop which for some reason Dio used once in the video despite him being able to spam it. Also Dio has some op hax that ignore durability.
Sadly not, timestop can kinda bypass his nanomachines since it takes time for the nanomachines to harden, no matter how miniscule. DIO could just stop time, donut him, crush his heart and it'd be over.

He's far stronger than any stand, and his durability is so great Star Platinum could 7 page muda him without much harm. Even if he can't hurt or see the stands he'd beat most stand users.

To be honest Dio might have a chance here if he makes a decent time stop. The nanomachines inside Armstrong react to physical contact but it not instant. It takes some time to harden the part that is about to be damaged. This is why Sam cut off Armstrong arm (by simply being faster then hardening of nanomachines). So Dio in theory can hurt him if he notices this too.

The durability of Armstrong in insane btw, the fact that Armstrong can easily tank Raiden's punches is a feat on its own. But when you account the HF blades where they vibrate so fast that they have the ability to slice in between atoms, and this guy was literally tanking them before the best HF blade came into the picture. Not only that, he was also tanking those attacks by the most skilled swordsman of their universe, Jetstream Sam. His destructive power is also insane, being much more powerful than the Metal Gears.

Great video, gave me a chuckle, although if I had to dwell on who would win... I feel like it would be DIO, unless his hubris gets the best of him. After all, just by cutting fast enough, Sam could cut off Armstrong's arm, which means that the nanomachines can be negated given the assailant strikes quickly enough - or, in DIO's case, is able to stop time altogether.
Well here is the problem with that. Jetstream Sam for example is incredibly fast and is able to deflect machine gun bullets (can be seen upon first meeting Sam) and even be isn’t fast enough to hit Armstrong without the hit being able to properly connect without they nanomachines defending him Also they are both able to cut a Metal Gear Ray in half which is able to survive nuclear explosions. Since they can cut it in half their sword swings are about as strong as nuclear bombs (this does not mean they cause an impact like that with one hit since hey don’t have the surface area). Because of this the fact that Armstrong was able to take a hit from Sam and he only lost an arm shows that he is very resistant to damage anyways since that would otherwise just outright kill him Raiden also has similar strength and speed to Sam and different ones as well but also struggles to beat Armstrong like Sam.
But st the same time since DIO can stop time and therefor move at infinite speed anything would be able to kill him at that point but at the same time moving at that speed would just destroy everything as well so going by the logic of the show/manga and how strong he is when he stops time in the show/manga I don’t think he would win but IRL he would by a lot

The durability of Armstrong in insane btw, the fact that Armstrong can easily tank Raiden's punches is a feat on its own. But when you account the HF blades where they vibrate so fast that they have the ability to slice in between atoms, and this guy was literally tanking them before the best HF blade came into the picture. Not only that, he was also tanking those attacks by the most skilled swordsman of their universe, Jetstream Sam.
His destructive power is also insane, being much more powerful than the Metal Gears.
He made a Metal Gear explode by punching while being angry, soooo yeah

I feel like it would be DIO, unless his hubris gets the best of him. After all, just by cutting fast enough, Sam could cut off Armstrong's arm, which means that the nanomachines can be negated given the assailant strikes quickly enough - or, in DIO's case, is able to stop time altogether.
Well here is the problem with that. Jetstream Sam for example is incredibly fast and is able to deflect machine gun bullets (can be seen upon first meeting Sam) and even be isn’t fast enough to hit Armstrong without the hit being able to properly connect without they nanomachines defending him
Also they are both able to cut a Metal Gear Ray in half which is able to survive nuclear explosions. Since they can cut it in half their sword swings are about as strong as nuclear bombs (this does not mean they cause an impact like that with one hit since hey don’t have the surface area). Because of this the fact that Armstrong was able to take a hit from Sam and he only lost an arm shows that he is very resistant to damage anyways since that would otherwise just outright kill him
Raiden also has similar strength and speed to Sam and different ones as well but also struggles to beat Armstrong like Sam.
But st the same time since DIO can stop time and therefor move at infinite speed anything would be able to kill him at that point but at the same time moving at that speed would just destroy everything as well so going by the logic of the show/manga and how strong he is when he stops time in the show/manga I don’t think he would win but IRL he would by a lot
