Historically, medieval armor with chainmail has been proven to be virtually immune to slashing and highly resistant or even immune to piercing from knifes and swords. But blunt weapons have been the bane of armor. So I can understand the vest on this video being immune to the stabbing, but how does it protect against the bat? Such blunt force will at least move the person and most mechanisms that protect against piercing often can't diffuse enough energy to do the same for blunt force trauma.
Dang! Metal gear rising, my once favorite game, along time ago everyone hated it for being "not Metal gear", and now here in the future, everyone sees how amazing this game is! Sadly, the story is short, but it was still an amazing game
Everyone hated it because it's too repetitive even for a beat them up, the story being nearly non existent and having no good characters outside of the memes.
It would only take a few stabs for someone to realize you're wearing armor, but most knife attackers really do just go straight for the torso stabs at least at first, and when their first stabs in that area fail to penetrate this armor, that would buy you valuable time to counter them or help you escape during the time when they're thrown off their game and confused... ... Jack
Also your head is hard to hit with a knife because it moves, the neck is a small target, and you can take slashes to the limbs without it being life threatening, so really the chest is the most dangerous place to be attacked anyways

That's nuts. I want that body armor, even if it's not bulletproof. It's protection against physical attacks is outstanding, plus you really can't see it, so the vest must be light and offer good mobility to the wearer.

Such blunt force will at least move the person and most mechanisms that protect against piercing often can't diffuse enough energy to do the same for blunt force trauma.
it doesnt, he just takes it

“Nice knife!”
“What!?!”
Plot twist: The man was genuinely trying to kill him.
This is almost perfect, just miss the buttons smashing interface.
But is a good meme what we have here. Exquisite.
