I suggested one. Biggest mistake of my life. Now my husband is done after a year of failed attempt to reconcile. Wish I had woken up to this earlier. 😢

I want to think about myself now. 30 years and its never about me. My wife doesn't want the same things as me in life. She is so boring. No fun at all. We have worked so hard to build a family, a live and a business together. I want to travel with her and see the world and enjoy some of the fruits of our labour but she just wants to stay home and make kids and grandkids everything all year round. I am so sick of it. I have waited long enough

I think your perspective is normal for those who have never experienced the true benefits that come from the deep connection that marriage is meant to be. I can relate to your frustration on a level that most believe in. But I discovered that marriage is much deeper than "this or that" choices. It is about cultivating the deepest love and joy. Happiness is relative in the world of material living, its true. But when yyou make your marriage spiritual, based on love and joy, then you have it all, all the time.
