  • In this video I talk about the UPERFECT 13.3" 1080p portable monitor. This is the best portable monitor that I've seen for my use case. Because I wanted something more portable, I decided to go with the 13.3" size, instead of a 15.6" size, which most portable monitors are. This has a 1080p resolution and as an added bonus, it is VESA mount compatible.

      You're very welcome. Thanks for watching. I'll be doing another review on a 15.6" portable monitor soon.

    How is the outdoor visibility on this display? I was thinking on using this as a ground station display for my drone. So I'd potentially be looking at this display in sunny conditions. I noticed its very reflective so glare would probably be an issue.

    I was looking at this monitor for traveling or working from home with my m1 Macbook. I would primarily be using this as a secondary display. Do you think this is as good or a better solution than using an iPad with sidecar?

      Overall I think it's a great monitor traveling as a second display. Compared to having an iPad, it all depends on the size of the iPad but I personally think it's better as a monitor than my 11" iPad Pro. Also, some times I like to use my iPad at the same time as my computer so if I use side car, I can't use the iPad. Lastly, at home, I use this monitor vertically or in portrait mode as my secondary monitor. With side car, there's no option to rotate the display.

    Are you still liking this monitor?

      Yes! Very much so. I mainly use it as my second monitor because it has a vesa mount so I can put it on a monitor stand. I also use it on remote jobs.

    if you are not connecting it to a portable laptop, how do you power? can you convert USB C to a power plug?

    • @EverydayTechTV
      @EverydayTechTV  7 месяцев назад

      There are actually two USB-C ports on the unit itself. One is dedicated as a power port and the other is both data and power.

      @@EverydayTechTV, does the package comes with a USB-C to regular USB cable, so I can connect the regular USB part to a USB-NEMA5-15 plug for electricity? as I'm not using this display on a laptop, it's for my Oppo 103 blu-ray player

    Do you know if this monitor would work with a Macbook Pro M1?

    If I were to use this for a laptop screen, could I use one USBc for both powering the screen and sending data to it? Trying to just have one cord from the laptop to the monitor. Thanks!

      Yup. Of course your computer would have to support it but most modern laptops do. I use this with my Mac all the time.

    I bought 3 monitors and they were damaged in less than 2 months, I do not recommend it.

      Sorry to hear that. I've had mine for a while and I traveled with it a lot , especially for the first 6 months and it is still good.
