I made the SSD and RAM upgrade in 2013, and yes it was night and day. My dad stills use that Mini but this month we upgraded it to the 2024 M4. Back in 2013 I did the dual hard disk upgrade, the SSD + the mechanical drive it came with, it required an adapter mount and the disassembly of more parts in order to place both drives

I have 2 2012 Mac Minis (both are unfortunately the i5 model) One has developed a weird issue where it doesn’t seem to like 4K displays that are connected to the HDMI port during boot (yes, i know the HDMI port only supports 1080p, but the only display i have is a 4K one) If i use a device that changes the EDID to report a 1080p screen, it works flawlessly, but when the Mac Mini is connected directly, the display doesn’t show anything until the Mac Mini reaches the login screen

Did it provide sufficient bandwidth on tethering mode on full speed of usb2.0 ie 80% of 480Mbps ?

The hotspot mode of the tplink is the same as the repeater mode in the gl inet? And if i$ not the same to use a normal(home) router for the hotel?

Thanks for the review. When you are in Hotspot mode connected to Hotel Wifi with using Captive Portal, can you still use both the wifi and Ethernet ports on the router to connect to the Internet?

Keychron has a MAX series now with reduced sound, 2.4 GHz dongle and ISO layout, which is nice.

Hello Everyday Tech. Thanks for your Video. I'm currently testing a Raspberry Pi Zero W with an external WiFi antenna. Everything worked until the reboot at 12:32. After rebooting I can no longer find the hotspot WiFi (raspi-webgui, WLAN1). I took extra care to only remove WLAN 0 in dhcpcd.conf. What can I do now? Go through everything again from the beginning? Thanks
