Hey i messed up. I did a boneless pork butt on the middle rack around 225 average temp 8 pounds of meat 7 hours. Follow tips, but sure not well. Meat came out with great color, but hard not pulled pork for sure. Some meat was tender some hard. I sprayed, i lowered temp. Man, it tasted better on my crock pot. I don't want to give up. What to you think? Maybe temp was too high? Not enough time. So dissapointed😂.
Any pork butt takes about 15 or 16 hours to cook, Next i will use a Meat thermometer to measure the temperature of the meat Overall a happy that you friday everybody makes mistakes but learn for your mistske, Next time use a meat thermometer
What about if the water dissolves? Leave it like that
