@@GregySVK DiCaprio, DeNiro and Scorcese, Meryl - all have a sense of humour and enjoyed themselves. Hanks looked like he was sucking on a lemon with nails in it like he's worried about what Ricky might say about him.

I believe the Brad Pitt story is that he got into a heated argument with Weinstein over his then-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow, I think Weinstein either made a move on her, or refused to cast her because she didn't reciprocate, something like that.
Yeah Brad had the power in Hollywood than Gwyneth didn't have. So he told Weinstein that if he tried any more shit he'd kill him. Weinstein shit himself and never bothered Gwyneth again.

I never thought the most controversial thing in a Ricky Gervais reaction would be someone saying that Die Hard 2 was better than Die Hard one. But here we are.
I agree. Even as a Finn, I have to say that Die Hard and Die Hard 3 are better than Die Hard 2. And Die Hard 2 is a good movie but those two movies are even better.
What I love is that there was not one joke - all the truth and they hated it except for DeNiro, DiCaprio and Scorcese who can laugh at themselves and enjoy it.

Prosecutors alleged that Huffman's $15,000 donation to the Key Worldwide Foundation, ostensibly a charitable contribution, was in fact payment to someone who posed as Huffman's daughter Sophia to take the SAT, receiving a score that showed significant improvement over Sophia's score on the Preliminary SAT (PSAT). Huffman was arrested at her California home on March 12 by FBI agents and IRS agents and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud On April 8, she agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
Thus the implication by Gervais is that she was in prison, making license plates (a job done by inmates work program for decades)... so Gervais is saying Felicity made the license plate on the limo he came to the show in.
The quip about her daughter, Sophia, is that mom being arrested for cheating her into college was even more embarrassing than her dad (William H Macy) being in the movie "Wild Hogs", which was panned by critics (though it did well in the box office).
I really don't understand the outrage at all with her, or why she was convicted. She's a rich person paying money to get her idiot kid into a better college than they deserve.
Genuinely every single American knows that's happened, has known it's happening and joked about it happening, but with her suddenly we all hate her

I think most of us here will agree that if the Hollywood glitterati had any balls they'd pay Ricky big money to host every year. He probably wouldn't do it but it would show thick skin and, oddly, class by them if they tried to get him back over and over.

Comparing Knives Out/Glass Onion to Die Hard is criminal, mate...
Mystery films aren't satisfying when the film doesn't bother with a plot and just features re-shoots that would have explained everything to the viewer off the beat... There's TONS of great mystery flicks out there, and Knives Out/Glass Onion wouldn't even enter my thoughts until we started talking modern films or parodies... Even 'Get Smart' had a more compelling story than anything Rian Johnson has created

The only good thing Corden has ever done was playing Smiffy in Gavin and Stacy and the only reason he was any good at that was because Smiffy was an arrogant ignorant obnoxious POS so Corden only had to act in the few rare scenes where Smiffy showed some actual emotions and growth as a character.
