This was before Bill became really big. Also of note the fans of this show were very mean spirited which reflected they type of radio show O&A were. The super fans were called PESTS. These fans were also drunk from day drinking before the show even got started. They booed every previous comedian who came to the stage before they even got a chance to tell a joke. They just wanted to see Opie and Anthony who would be on stage after the comedians. Dom Irerra who is a great comedian and has been for decades was on just before Bill and they booed him the whole time he was on stage. Bill took offense to this and shut that shit down as soon as he got on stage.
