The way he thinks of his role in Machinima (the "talent") says he must have been a nightmare to deal with. He just wants to show up, have fun, and get paid for being there. It doesn't register for him that jobs require you to do something for the money they're paying you.
It's cathartic to get to watch Phil with like minded people who hear the stuff that comes out of his mouth in complete seriousness and laugh their butts off. "I'm the talent here, okay?" 41:41
What's incredible to me, is that he KNEW there were financial problems before moving to Renton. And, Steve has been sick most of the time I have been around, so I had no idea he had such deep lore knowledge.

Wow that meltdown is legendary! Serves him right for thinking he knows best. I absolutely love Phil threatened his position with Machinima thinking he had something and they call his bluff by firing him and he was huffing the copium hard to spin it as a positive. I hate that had the same energy as after Leanna left him where he kept going off on how "positive" of a change that was now.
A finance degree is a type of business degree. Everyone gets this completely confused for some reason. Its completely acceptable to use them interchangeably.
The bit where he’s delivering his long rambling spiel on MVC3 for 10 Fucking Minutes while the lady in the background sang “I’m gonna take you for a ride” was beyond funny. 10/10 mixed bag.
So I’m watching this after I watched a fair bit of his slander stream which turned out to be him showing emails that made him look like an unreasonable nightmare and made everyone at Machinima look like they were bending over backwards to accommodate him, while DSP ranted about it and made himself look even worse. It’s exactly like the Rambo and Howard stream.
Literal seconds of editing is asking too much of Phil. It goes to show you the way he looks at his videos, especially considering he's gotten lazier over time. Minimum effort, maximum profit.
Funny how DSP says he's never going to stop being an opinionated person then goes into why he's strictly modding his comments lol. No one else can have opinions.
You should do a deep dive into the Laveria arc. While it was shortt it shows just how stupid Phil really is. The 2 videos are still up on the SOK channel.
After this video (and watching couple docs about Hulk Hogan), everything makes much more sense to me. Phil always wanted to emulate Hogan, down to shilling bad products and having ridiculous merchandise. Hogan was his template how to be famous. But Hogan at least put effort into his career and worked hard and had some semblance of talent. He screwed people over, schemed, self-promoted, hussled and is a ridiculous liar and that made him widely hated in the recent years but that isn't the whole story. He was anything but lazy. Phil emulated everything that made people despise Hogan and nothing what made him beloved. He tried so hard to be heel like Hogan.
After seeing these old videos, Phil's biggest detractor has always been himself. He wants to do the Bare Minimum and receive the maximum results.

@@ThatBeingSaid alright well consider him banned then
Its honestly amazing how he stayed the same, aside from looking like a melting steven seagal wax figure, mentally he hasnt changed one bit.

Yea, I think the house was, better do it now before I DEFINITELY can't do it, even though it cost him a bankruptcy in the end.

@ArchangelSteve there’s a reason I call myself a COD widow every time a new one comes out lol
Thanks for another great episode. Pig ups, everyone.

"Three random characters that I strategically picked." 1:32:44
Was it random or was there some strategy involved. Words have meanings.

So meaningful 💙
Phil's kahmentary are the ingredients he adds to make his work of art, Tahm Croose is a doofus compared to Dave

1:49:26 We almost got the R word right there
This was like a behind the music without the music
2:29:50 Is hilarious. He claims to revel in being “Offensive” but can’t stand being offended so he had to shut comments off.
