Where did you pick up or learn this song? The tuning? Damn dude, I want to just copy and paste the playing right now to my own style. I LOVE this song, it's probably my favorite and you did it some justice

I was hanging out with a friend and he was playing the 7/8 main guitar riff and I watched his hands. I then realized that the bass line was just a variation of that same line, so I listened to the song and started experimenting. The hard part was practicing over and over on how to run bass line, guitar variations, and vocals at the same time. I just used a slow and controlled method and played with metronome to get used to it at slow speeds and then started speeding up.
The original song is in drop D. I can't remember if I used drop D or drop C# in this video. These days I use drop D though.
