one deuce and a half and a motivated crew inside. back up line inside. i guess there are different styles. this was not a big fire and in a class three ordinary construction.
When you see the water flowing from the foundation area @20:31, you just know all the residents in the bldg. must have lost much if not everything. I wonder what caused it to burn so violently-- almost like gas.
All those fire trucks and firefighters… seems like it should of been out a lot quicker.. I don’t know a lot about firefighting but it seems like they should of been hitting it from above the whole time.
Grate video. Some how this Fire department is slow punks. I don't like to judge but it's only what I see. Let's assume it's a very hot day But in the states in New York city this fire would be shut in no time.
max2680 - Let me give you a crash course on Montreal weather. In the Winter, it can get down to -20F easy and the firefighters have to fight fires in that condition. In the Summer, it can get up to 100F and those same firefighters have to fight the same fires but in blazing heat and with the same humidity as you guys have in NYC. I think they're entitled to some water bottles.
Those firetrucks look like Coke-a-Cola delivery trucks! lol
Excellent camera work with solid editing. Thanks!
+David Sonnen Nice thanks, I would just re-do the water bottles shot in the right order tho, got confused there a bit.
Superb footage,thanks for posting !
At least it was a solid building, but i assume the water damage will be substantial in the end.
Always amazing footage, I like it, good job 4K Guy ;)

i hope they all got out safe. i love in pierrefonds and i could smell fire. from where i am
The roof has collapsed in on itself, but yeah, gotta go interior. 5 Ariel platforms and only utilizing one for suppression.
Once the roof collapses you have to fight it from the outside. It is not safe for the firefighters inside on the fire floor

amazing footage!
Great catch
Great footage. Montreal or New Dehli?
Was this filmed with a drone?
+SkyOfTheUniverse Nope, FZ1000 handheld and LG G6 on a gimbal.
The flames coming through the roof looked like they had accelerant in them.
Joe Willis Grand Duke of LeRoy That is the way lightweight construction burns.
Damn, FDNY and LACFD would've had that knocked down and ready for overhaul of the scene before the video ended.
incroyable video comme toujours!
Merci :)
Where was the fire at What state or country just curious
Montreal
why didn't they smash all the windows like east coast USA departments? (I'm being sarcastic)
The windows are smashed out to ventilate to prevent a build up of gasses.

Benoît Turcotte the truth hurts?
You don't like to judge? Your comment says otherwise.
