I know nature's behavior can be unpredictable, but there needs to be an assessment of what went wrong this time. The Hawaii Lahaina fire has been so close, what did the government learn from that? The government needs to deliver answers.
"We're fighting a wildfire with urban water systems, and that is really challenging," said Janisse Quiñones, head of the city's water and power department." The water systems in Los Angeles are for urban use, she explained - homes and businesses - not large firefighting efforts, which the city and county do not typically face. LA County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone acknowledged that the county and its 24 departments were also not built for this scale of disaster.
Stop reporting on the people with money. Let them rebuild with their own movie money and report on and get ready to help the "little" souls who have been there for years - at the beginning of this whole area.
That is a cold and harsh thing to say. Do you watch television or films? Do you enjoy them? Maybe stop passing judgement on people who bring a lot of other people joy in the world by putting themselves out there and realize that they are human beings whose lives have value beyond their bank account. I agree that our houses are very flammable, and that they may be more expensive to build than your brick houses. But California is expensive compared to the rest of the world. Wood is fast, cheap and holds up to earthquakes, that’s why we use it. What we should really do is coat our wooden frames in fire resistant materials, among other things
yeah, prioritizing cops over firefighters. The police got a $126m funding boost. Not much point having cops if there are no streets left to police. Maybe should have defended the police and given that $126 to the fire service instead

Air support cant happen in such high winds. Its a catastrophic domino effect. The winds ground the air support and existing fires blow little fire igniters from burning buildings etc. to new areas and catch more things on fire.
There's not a fire department in the world that can overcome 90+ mile an hour winds during a drought. When they tried to use so many hydrants at the same time the water pressure dropped. To many factors at once...
Democrats did this. Over 50% of ALL forest fires are caused by equipment failure. You spent all the money on "renewables" instead of maintaining the grid. Oh, and you outlawed forest management.

ALL THE ANIMALS … WHO COULD NOT BE SAVED😭😭😭 … SO TRAGIC … 💔💔💔… !!!
Firefighters don’t have water to fight the fires the level of incompetence from those in charge is staggering 🥴
Aparantly it's a billionaire couple that own 60% of LAs water..
Those powers in charge are who started the fires.
"We're fighting a wildfire with urban water systems, and that is really challenging," said Janisse Quiñones, head of the city's water and power department."
The water systems in Los Angeles are for urban use, she explained - homes and businesses - not large firefighting efforts, which the city and county do not typically face.
LA County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone acknowledged that the county and its 24 departments were also not built for this scale of disaster.
There’s plenty of water! It falls from heaven as Trumpo informed us a few days ago!
I’m sure the stars with a lot of money will show up to help everyone, not just themselves.
@@djunalu Time will tell the tale.
@@djunaluPalestinians don't have the money to rebuild. Lots of Israeli supports live in neighborhoods like Malibu and Hollywood.
@@djunalu I am very concerned about the little people that probably won't be able to get enough insurance money to even help them. These stupid Hollywood types should look after themselves and let the majority of state, federal and municipal money be funneled to desperate small scale businesses and little people running the dry cleaners and little corner stores. I don't watch movies from any sooner than about 40 years ago. And if these movies - as you call them, the sex and the violence brings you joy, and the completely stupid and unintelligent plot lines - it says a lot about you and enough about me to know I'm a lot more discriminating then you. These modern movies aren't coming in my house without a lot of consideration and thought before some of them do, if ever. And it's usually never. I don't want to lower my standards by putting hard earned money on Hollywood, modern-day, drivel. Help the poor little people with not much money to fall back on at this horrendous time in their lives.
@@wendymcbain2263Well said..Hollywood went into decline in terms of original or interesting plots and storylines from about 1992 although there was already too much sex and violence by the 1980s.
So what was the really cause of the wild fire?

My heart goes out to them. Poor people...but why do Americans keep building highly flammable wooden houses instead of brick ( or stone) and mortar like us in Europe.? And their wooden houses are more expensive than ours too. I have never understood that.. Anyhow.. poor people :(
It even burnt the bricks with that high heat.
@@janet8418wooden houses spread fire
I agree that our houses are very flammable, and that they may be more expensive to build than your brick houses.
But California is expensive compared to the rest of the world. Wood is fast, cheap and holds up to earthquakes, that’s why we use it.
What we should really do is coat our wooden frames in fire resistant materials, among other things
Earthquakes!!!!! Bricks and stone dont do good at all against Earthquakes which california is known for
I think its because LA is in an earthquake zone. Apparently wooden buildings absorb the quakes better
Why does nobody talk about the impact on the wildlife in these areas!?
Firefighting funds were cut by a staggering $17.5 million dollars just 7 months ago which left firefighters unable to respond properly.
LAFD has a budget of over $800 million. A 2% decrease is hardly going to make much difference
yeah, prioritizing cops over firefighters. The police got a $126m funding boost. Not much point having cops if there are no streets left to police. Maybe should have defended the police and given that $126 to the fire service instead
that did not affect the response lol. the $17 mill budget cut was after a $50 mill raise the year before
In the agricultural basket of our nation no less. Probably stolen and allocated to previous illegal aliens & criminals. The federal govt should forcibly take control over that state.
you send money across the world to cause destruction to other people now its coming home, now you are stepping in other people's shoes
What caused the fire? That should be examined.
